Love drinking tea hot or ice cold
Monday through Sunday each week day
Never enough flavors for me
Overtime working is tea time
People around the world love tea

Take a spoon and take a scoop.
Then the ice cream fiend comes out.
He doesn’t like foot prints.
In the ice cream.
Cold, but in a lively way.
As if there’s someone out there.
But they are dead.
Piles of ice cream-
They call it snow, but I see something they can’t.
The best type of food.
Is everywhere.
And a little dangerous.
Headlights.
It’s them.
Plowing snow away.
A good time to go inside and drink hot chocolate.
Shivering comes in cycles.
Some people do.
Take a spoon and stir your hot chocolate.
As she scolds you for your insanity.
She thought it was the effects of frostbite.
But I’ve been bitten long ago.
They call it snow.
Then they died too.

Crackling flames warm icy cold air. Oak logs spit and pop as they release their heat. Stars gleam cold in the night sky. Glowing embers, red eyes shine in the dark night. Steam rises from our mouths as we exhale warm moist air.
bears hibernating
wolves’ green-yellow eyes reflect
the new moon hidden
Warm fronts and cold backs we are half fire and half ice.

Some say my heart is cold and dark,
While others say I’m beautiful.
Some say my appearance, without remark,
Brings about chaos and confusion –
As shoppers hurry to the store, a spark
Of urgency in their step, buying up essentials,
For the moment when I fall down in the park.
Some say my soul is beyond desolate,
While others say I’m jubilant,
Leaving ponds perfect for those who wish to skate,
Inspiring jolly snowmen and women,
Who might be named Mr. Harry and Ms. Kate.

Hot TEA in a small cup? Yes.
But only once in a while.
Cold TEA in a large glass? Yes.
But only once in a while.
Notwithstanding, a large glass of
ice-cold TEA on a hot summer afternoon
on a regular basis is absolutely fabulous.
However, eating with my TEA is a 'NO NO'.
Indeed, TEA TIME, whether hot or cold,
suits me best as a 'stand-alone'.
Hot coffee in a small cup? Yes.
Cold coffee, cup, or glass? No.
I like both TEA and coffee. It's
probable cultural, but in early
mornings, coffee beckons me more.
For me, if there were a drinking contest between
coffee and TEA, it would be a matter of the season
and 'time of day'. Early mornings? Coffee wins.
Mid-afternoon on a hot summer day? TEA wins.

A chair has become my world
Uncomfortable
It creates pain just like the real world
Isolation from all who walk
Wrapped in my own flesh
Stone cold
Reaching out just creates more pain
What little warmth inside my heart
Turning ice cold
Like all before

After the chill
Of winter’s freezing
Snowflakes and winds
Breathing flurries
Indiscreet – blowing
Cold, clear colors
Heartless reflections
After the biting
Fury of winter’s ice
Shuddering frost
Staggering with aloof
Melancholy, breeding
Razor edged cold
Over trembling skin
Naked against the sharp
Stillness of gusts
Tossing tender flakes
After Winter
Has finally exhausted
Its dreaded bitterness
And it has pressed on
Leaving only a memory
Of its vile viciousness
I reach toward the light
Of a silent and warm - Spring
Sunshine bursting with rays
Of lemony yellow kindness
Smiling down on my spirit

rains winter’s iced drops;

from heavens falls down;
whitening the trees and grounds;
winter frozen rains;

When on earth will you call them?
After, they are dead?
Don't you get it?
God made ears for hearing, not texts to be read.
No wonder people kill each other.
They are love-empty inside.
Keystrokes are not the same
As hearing the voice of another.
We won't even talk to a customer rep?
Oh, no..we choose Apps over humanity?
No small wonder, we are human wrecks!
Just pasty, glaring faces stuck to screens.
Or thinking that FaceTime is our way out.
You can't hear their souls', cry and shout.
We, breathing corpses, cold and so mean.
The world's biggest scam, on holy devices,
the world's dream!
And how happy we are to have our children
be on the same devices.
Where they, too can share their hearts in ice-
cold slices!

The blanket of winter
Looks like a snowy glaze
Over the ordinary scenery
Icicles hanging around
And snow-topped trees
The beautiful landscape
Too perfect to describe
The embrace of snowflakes
To one’s own face
As they fall from the sky
The slight feeling of wetness
As it melts to your heart
Everything is immaculate
The happiest time
Of your whole life
And in all your bliss
You tended to miss
The signs that something was amiss
Until you hear the news
That your friend had died,
Not by murder, by suicide
And your heart slowly became
A piece of frozen-hard ice
