Hell Hot Water

The little beads rise to the surface of her skin.
The skin that seems to have
'gotten scratched by the cat'

One too many times.

But as she goes to erase all evidence of her deflect
She feels it sting.

A sting she knows all too well.

Her blood feeling the tension of the gleaming blade against her skin
The sting comes and goes,

But here comes the hell hot waters,
The little voices in her head screaming for her to yell in pain, in anger,
something to tell people she's hurt

But she just sighs as the
demons come from the shower and cause havoc on her skin
Her fingers graze against her
scars as she is reminded of the the pain, the agony.

But she will sigh, as she know the hell hot water demons,
will soon meet her skin again

Hot water

Hot water:
   turns and frightens the world
  even tomorrow?.

Premium Member My Hot Water Bottle Metaphorically

My source of gain for each day
is so soothing and warm of heart
this holds me up no matter what
fully satisfying in no small part

This bottle has ca spiritual dimension
effecting my soul so very much
keeping it filled to the brim
trusting for that divine touch

There's a constant boiling need
being red hot temperature-wise
touching inside your lukewarmness
pour out the heat before it dies

Looking in as the bottle's filling
it's literally so full of steam
portraying spiritual power within
now that's something you can dream

When your skin touches that heat
so soothing like His divine presence
bringing a real glow inside
my HWB makes a lot of sense

Hot Water Crises

Hot water crisis

Suddenly no hot water
We didn’t have hot water in my childhood
We had to boil water on a kettle
Pour it into a bowl, add cold water and wash
The vital parts.
It was when it was a communal bath, I discovered
Hot water in a shower and clean towels.
I wonderful moment.
Talking about water, there is not so much of it now
The summer lake near the houses is a hole covered with
Thistles and the river are a stony track.
Where I live now the water from the faucet is not potable
We have to buy it at the local shop, and it adds to
The household expensive.
I drink about two litres per day, and it cost more than cheap wine.
I refuse to drink the nasty, the residue of an empty, wine sold inboxes.
A cold glass of water in the morning is aa
Nectar, no one should be denied.

"Okay, so, who we are — what we do is we help the wealthiest families in the U.S. get their kids into school. ... That they want guarantees, they want this thing done. They don't want to be messing around with this thing. And so they want in at certain schools. And I've created this side door in." — A witness who participated in the cheating scheme to a client in wiretapped call, cited in the affidavit*

Hot Water Burned

He came in,
     Drunk again
He knocked the teacup from my hand
I was ten
Hot water burned
As he yelled,
I thought I told you to go to bed,
Warm tears fell

My mother called out
     Leave him alone
He grabbed her by the hair
I could hear my mama moan

Helpless I felt
     How to get away
Please don’t hurt my mother
That’s all I could say

Living in fear was a regular thing
In those days as a child
                      Who had not yet learned
Though I can forgive, I can never forget
How many times,
                          The hot water burned

Hot Water Music

There once lived a man

who smiled a grand smile
and danced a tune so sweet,
he loved the most beautiful of women
and wrote the most real of poetry.

He left the world listening to the hot water music
of the world
and time went on and he left a long time ago
so long, but they remembered him
as a good man.

The hot water music sings softly in the ears
of my own,
and those girls drink their sorrows in the bar
and danced on the marble dance floors
and the DJs and barkeeps leave their posts
and have a cigarette or a free beer
or fresh air outside
and they all hear and know of the hot water music
that at one time that man listened to.

And they all break glasses and paper plates
and dance on home,
and sleep at night
wake up at dawn
find themselves on another woman's lawn.
Tears fall from their eyes
and they say their goodbyes.

Hot Water Heater Woes

My faucets run cold, what IS this about?
My hot-water-heater-tank pilot light's out!
Press down that red button and click 'til I pout
Then spew out a string (my religion in doubt)

My stove-top still lights, I can still take a bath!
Boil three piping pots full (I HOPE that will pass)
Teeter and totter like I'm walkin' through glass----
The stopper ain't stoppin', you STUPID dumb-ass!!
