I Dwell In Halo Clouds

I choose to dwell in frothy clouds…
with a mindset unfixed
Random instincts   spaced out 
In the cumulus mix
An expansive effusion
Far out and beyond my temporal shackles
Free are my thoughts without prompt
Closed minds shallow and 
desolate debacles
dissipate in this airy romp

On wispy clouds I dwell in…
high above I’ve risen
Here no need to reason
nor the blends of interpretation
Far away, so far from you, ascended 
From the fiery pit below
which awaits my return
Where blazing saddles shame my name
where gross gossip lives and 
bloody rumors stain, 
Ablaze are the blame games

I dwell in cirrus pillows…
The scoped hemispheric 
veils, bands and billows
Musings— using me

I chose to dwell in halo clouds
My mind with no refrains
Nothing to lose nothing to gain
A spirit free from hate 
Soley my mind
Opens heaven’s gate

A Poetic Journey Through American History

Aboriginal tribes, ancient and free,
Bold explorers sailed ‘cross the vast sea.
Colonial dreams, a new world’s birth,
Devout pilgrims, a holy rebirth.
Emancipation’s fight, a nation’s test,
Freedom’s beacon, forever the best.
Great minds convened, a framework to frame,
Human rights secured, liberty’s aim.
Immense territory, a nation’s expanse,
Joint efforts waged, a defiant stance.
Keen Monroe Doctrine, a hemispheric shield,
Land’s westward march, a battle afield.
Mining for fortune, a golden desire,
Nation divided, a civil fire.
Ordeal endured, a nation’s renewal, 
Powerful industry, of immense capital.
Quest for reform, a progressive age,
Raging World War, a historic stage.
Suffering nation, a desperate plight,
Transformation’s hope, a guiding light.
United we stand, a global might,
Voices united, a civil right.
War’s tragic toll, a nation’s strife,
Xenophobia’s stain, a troubled life.
Yearly sorrow, a nation’s wound,
Zero tolerance, a pandemic’s sound.

Sacred Means

Relationships,
like resonance,
feel sacred to me
in a way that individual things,
like trucks
and guns
do not
survive long
without significant depreciation

Despite impressive commercial value
when first assembled.

Feelings seem organic
to neurosystemic me
in ways that thoughts,
metaphysical
verbal
rhetorical dogma does not
free us from static
closed
elitist
LeftBrain anthropocentric dominance

Not rooted in co-empathic embodied win/win
bi-hemispheric balance

Blending resonant
compassionate peak experience
throughout multisensory
bipartisan history

Of EarthTribe's organic
synergetic
sacred relationships

Facing

and feeling

Remembering Me Next Time

I suspect many of us,
if not all,

positive deviant parented and educated exceptions,

of survivors
and thrivers
to redeem a fractured Earth

from death's fading door,

Trump An Old Clod

Trump had become an old clod
Wanted women with beautiful bod
A prior Miss Universe insulting
Psychological problems were resulting
Can you imagine him being made by God.

About Trump I wrote a long lyric
About big head that is hemispheric
But short limerick wrote instead
By Trump down path were led
Would not understood word esoteric.

Will Trump's reality really recover
While over us he does like to hover
And what I find most infuriating
Women always seems to be hating
Likes thinking he is a great lover.

As in Trump Tower sun arose
Tells many lies with a long nose
We are starting to get suspicious
Said daughter does looks delicious
Has psychological problem I suppose.

No matter where Trump goes or went
His actions are all really irreverent
And in mighty tower when it is misty
Business he will plan which is risky
Can you believe he has God's consent.
