Worldly Wise

If the world is going to hell in a handbasket,
'Who's holding the handle?'
is the real question, and I have to ask it.
Also, I wonder how well the world would function
if all corruption were removed at this junction.
Destroy despotism, no more nepotism,
do away with liars, fakers, thieves, heartbreakers,
abolish pundits, politicians, priests, on-the-takers.
If we eliminate crime, cigarettes, drugs and insanity,
so those evils become a thing of the past,
a change for the better could restore humanity,
but how long would it last?
We'll never know, as little is learned from history,
and why that's so is still a mystery.
In the beginning, there were only two,
(whether or not you believe in Adam and Eve)
it's no surprise mankind is clueless what to do
as, since then; incest, inbreeding and man's hate
has brought populations to such a terrible state,
despite those who do good, few and far between,
perhaps it's in their food, or possibly the genes.

How to Hunt Love

Throw an arrow, remember to sharpen it before it reaches it's end target
Who is naïve enough to cross your parameters of closeness
Capture this person whose mere sight you adore
Aim at their legs, your prey will land face first on the floor

Don't be scared, Don't you worry
This is how love is meant to be
Or why would cupid, on his smooth back, so many bad intentions carry?

Or why would the heartbreakers or cheaters not worry about their actions
If they didn't know, love is never a synonym to passion, but pain
To confusion and spiraling games

Love was never stable enough to stay after an orgsm
Love, they repeated over and over
Yet it felt like it had just slipped off their tongue

Bind love in ropes of promises, skim apart their soul
Listen to their heartbeat till the gushing of their bloody lies couldn't be ignored
You'll know when the prey gets too weakened, it can't move
Just fall apart into broken shreds of a beautiful story
Piece by piece, Complete the jigsaw pattern
That lasts people eternity, then you can congratulate yourself

You've caught your prey

Breaking Free

I'm breaking free from all the chains
Your whispers echo but their all complaints
No more tears to choke my heart
I'm done playing this heartbreakers part
I'm rising up, setting fire to the past
This girl's done with love and I'm free at last

Done with love, I'm taking back my soul
No more games, I'm breaking the control
with every heartbeat, I'm bringing my sound
I'm a warrior now, watch me stand my ground

Your promises were smoke, they vanished in air
I gave you my all, but it was never fair
I'm standing strong, no more looking behind
This fierce hearts ready, new paths I will find

With every step I take, I reclaim my light
the past is a shadow, I'm walking toward bright

Done with love, I'm taking back my soul
No more games, I'm breaking the control
with every heartbeat, I'm bringing my sound
I'm a warrior now, watch me stand my ground

So here I am, no more tears to weep
this hearts alive, I'm taking the leap

Don'T Fall In Love With a Poet

We are the generation
of discontinued imagination.
With our twisting words
you’ll drink in
desperately.
Our beautiful stories
spun from the nothingness.
Shadows of hope
glimmering in the distance.
Farfetched aspirations
that will never be reached.

We are the hopeless romantics
you all wish you could be.
We are amazing with words
yet terrible with people.
We know what to say
and when
without missing a beat.
We are dreamers
and wishful thinkers
and procrastinators beyond belief.

We have hope
for things you
cannot fathom achieving.
We are desperate
for approval
yet hard to convince.
Destined for greatness
that will probably be missed
We are the socially anxious,
hopeful,
and descriptive
pessimists.
We are the ones
you wish you could be.

We are heartbreakers
because we are lost.
We are lonely
but happy.
So trust me when I say:
don’t fall in love
with a poet,
unless you are ready
to become one.

Hurt Heart

HURT HEART

Hurt heart hastened home
Hunting hope housed humbly
Hollow holiness has hurt heart
Has humans heart has holes?
Humiliated heavy heart harves hardship
Help harmonise harmless hearts.
Hurt heart hastened home
Hanging helplessly hand-made hope
Handcuff heartbreakers handbooks
Head home, hand hold halting heart
Has human's heart half hollow?
Hale heart hopes honestly
Have habit habitual heart?
Hurt hair-cut heart haggardly.

Bond To Survive

I'm much less than perfect, I need to confess,
At moments I feel I'm a terrible mess.
Sometimes I surrender when tired to strive,
But look: in the end I am bond to survive.

This life is worth living to see all my foes
Too deep in the gutter, and here it goes:
I still have much time for fulfilling my plan.
The show is over - the battle began.

With broken arms bleeding I'll finish the fight
For those my heroes who suddenly died.
I'll yield to the pleasure to look in the eyes
Of those heartbreakers who told me sweet lies.

It seems I am cruel, but wouldn't you be
If only you knew what it's like to be me?
My heart has been pierced by a sharp poisoned thorn,
My life's been at stake since the day I was born.

..........

But I'm getting stronger, I'm fully alive,
No matter what happens, I'm bond to survive.

Seirenes - Sea Nymphs - Greek Mythology Contest

The song they sing
Will bewitch you
Promising you everything
Warming your bed to loving you

Heartbreakers for sure
Full of wickedness and sin
They are so evil
Promising love but taking a life

They were handmaidens to the
Goddess Persephone
When Haides abducted her

Given bodies of birds
Sent to search for her
got tired and made
Anthemoessa Island their home

There they sang their song
Luring sailors to their death
Orpheus helped the Argonauts sail past
By drowning out their music
with his song.

Odysseus also sailed by
Bound tightly to the mast
His men blocked their ears
Using wax, so no song was heard

For this to happen
Distressed the Seirenes so much
They threw themselves
Into the sea and drowned.

Heartbreakers

Whose worse?
A cheater or a wife beater?
I ask this because alot of girls would choose one of these two
When there is a third choice clearly in her view
But back to the question... Whose worse?
A cheater breaks your heart
A wife beater might literally " break your heart"
The cheater has you share him
The wife beater has you fear him
They both apologize in the end
But go back to their habits again
Both use different forms of persuasion
Whether its excuses, sweet talking, or facial inflation
Both say your one they love
But both will hurt you then give you a kiss and a hug
So you accept the good, ignore the bad
And ignored the great guy you could have had
So you ended up choosing one of these guys even though you could see
That all this time you could've had me
But it's ok, you were just unlucky, you flipped a bad coin toss
Cause in my perspective it's your loss

Heartbreakers

Somewhere a heart is breaking
as a young girl is left all alone.
Friends call round to comfort her
as she sits there by the phone.
She’s waiting there for him
in the hope that its not goodbye.
But he’s not coming home again
he's leaving her there to cry.

He made the sun shine in her heart
making each day feel fresh and new.
But a cold wind has blown over her
and now grey clouds cover the blue.
Sometimes the guys out there
make me ashamed to be a man.
Breaking those young girls hearts
then running as fast as they can.

Four Smart Kids

Four kids
Four smart kids
Never fell below 90% in tests
Impressing people daily
Teachers pinching themselves in disbelief
Winning spelling bees
Maths competitions
Those same four
Were offered to go to university early
But they lost the offer
To a rich family with
A stupid child.

High school
A place of heartbreakers
Drugs
And Abuse
These four kids
Ran into a drug dealer
The dealer knew about their gift
So he got these kids high off weed
claiming It was brain food
Another dealer sold them Vodka
Claiming it kept you going during
Long study periods

Before long
These four smart kids
Were just four dimwitted druggos
Smoking weed
Drinking cheap liquor
Twenty Four Hours
Seven days a week
These kids had potential
But it all washed away
Like a sandcastle on the beach
As the tide comes in
Good for nothing
But to end up like those dealers
Selling goods to smart kids
Like their former selves

Drugs destroyed these four kids
Don't let it destroy you

Never the Same Again

these walls that we have built with our own hands

are slowly crashing to the ground

the foundation so weak as the the power of this quake

buries them into the embers of this december

don't turn your cheek or bat an eyelash

because when you discover life's true meaning

you will understand that this is just another ending

leading to another beginning

an open door that is yours to take

to escape this pain and this hurt

hold yourself up and stand tall again

and find the strength in yourself to fight back

against the ones who deceive you

the liars and the heartbreakers

the backstabbers and the pretenders

just remember to never surrender

to the games that they play

because then they will betray

your trust and then you will find yourself

left in the dust

so rise up my son and stand above

the ones that have hurt you

and put you through this pain

because when you understand that you don't need them

you will never be the same again

My Castle

The ocean is my palace
As I swim through the water
Slow movement
And waves
Under in my castle
I hear silence
While above, cries,
Heartbreakers,
Lovers breaking up,
Confusion,
But in my castle,
Love lasts forever,
Quiet,
Only sounds that you want to hear,
As I dance through the water,
I float, and I drift,
In slow motion,
Peacefulness,
My castle,
Is perfect.

Loves Lost Anatomy

Loves lost anatomy
It’s heart resides in each body
To each there is autonomy
Some loves comes freely
For others the headlines are gloomy
You could search there necrology
Heartbreakers live in infamy
Wandering forever endlessly
Are the victims searching for what could be
They cry for they are so lonely
Living in the painful memory
Longing for her he
He longing for she
Living in misery
Pretending to be happy
There own undesired agony
Then there are those who seemingly
Receive love so easily
Give it so honestly
It touches them gently
Two souls far from a dichotomy
Becoming one in this vast empty
The heartbroken watch in envy
Cant grasp this concept mentally
As they see lovers and their loyalty
Holding hands softly and openly
Intertwined for all eternity
Only wanting to receive that sincerity
And their two worlds spin diagonally
As some become loves lost anatomy.

Friends

Friends are givers not takers.
They are menders not heartbreakers.
Lending a hand in times of need,
 helping do a timeless deed.

Standing by with arms wide open,
by your side wishing and hoping.
Never once will they turn you away,
but by your side a friend will stay.
