Listen to the tears,
Slow and steady, dripping
Feelings folding away,
Promises, dreams, echoes,
Faith, hope, love that sees,
Through the shadows,
Into the song who sings
Grace beyond what we hoped,
In the tears, trembling cries,
Silencing the darkness
Revealing the secret lines
Between wonders unheard of
And, admiration of the love
Who shudders in the tears,
Erasing the struggles,
While coloring the mirrors,
Small drops, little reflections
What it means to see…
Beyond the tears, into the eyes
Who sparkle, with a subtle glow,
Softening the edges of teardrop’s
Splattering illusion, feelings
Flooded by a moment’s fear,
Before the strength of grace,
Hears the tear and wipes away,
Even the slowest stains,
Whispering light through every night,
Reminding me why…
Each tear is a cry for what is right,
A cry for the beacon of light,
The guide who is love come to life,
True love is a man called Christ.

My Heart Ache

In the quiet of the night, under the pale moon's light,
A heart whispers softly, burdened with its plight.
The echoes of laughter, now silent in the halls,
Memories like specters, on the mind's walls.

The ache is a shadow, a constant, silent guest,
A reminder of the love that once filled the chest.
It lingers in the corners, where happiness once danced,
In the empty spaces, where love once chanced.

Yet within this sorrow, where the tears freely flow,
Lies the strength of the human, a resilient glow.
For even as the heart aches, and the soul feels its loss,
It beats on bravely, despite the heavy cost.

So let the pain be a teacher, not just a bitter sting,
A guide to a future, where the heart can again sing.
For every ache felt deeply, is love's enduring mark,
A testament to its power, even when the world's dark.

Heart Ache

Why try to love
When everytime you love your given the shove
You try to be strong
Just to be proven wrong

A mask is what you put on
For everyone to look upon
No one can tell the difference
Because all they are feeling is indifference

No one really cares if your hurting
Its why with people you are always averting
To love is to be hurt
So you must be on high alert

Heart ache is the worst
Makes you feel like your cursed
There's no cure for heart ache
You don't even get a break

One heart ache comes with many more
Its kinda like a war
There is no winning
So you feel like your endlessly spinning

Heart ache is never easy
It always makes you feel uneasy
The pain goes away
But ends up coming back another day

Heart ache is painful
In a ways its shameful

The Heart Is the Last To Know

He's never going to care.
It doesn't seem fair.
Love suddenly stops.
It hurts a lot.
You pray to god for a second chance.
You bury your tears in your hands.
You try everything to make him care once more but it just pushes him away more.
You then leave him alone in hopes he misses you.
He never calls or texts you.
It's over but your heart don't want to know.
It is hard to let go.
It's easy for him to let go and ignore.
He doesn't love you anymore.

Premium Member It Still Hurts - Collaboration With Debjani Mitra

This poem is a TRANSLATION by PoetrySouper, DEBJANi MITRA, of my poem "Monta Hariye Gechhe" in Bengali.

I thought my heart no longer flutters
an ache in its painful landscape
once wept in teary red eyes
I wondered why it no longer flutters.

crushed in stampede of the world
perhaps in peace , crumbs of my heart
meanders in emptiness of an open window
I wondered why it no longer hurts.

And then I turn around to your thoughts...
your laughter... your voice...
in flicker of a second, in alluring meadows,
hovering around you, my heart flutters,

Oh, it was never lost, it still hurts !

Eleven months I watched you slowly fade away
Not once did I hear you complain or cry, you said
Soon you would embark on the greatest adventure
Of your life, while you laid suffering in silence,
Something inside me began to slowly die, too.
I tried hard, but could not stifle the bitter tears,
The dreadful hurting each day deep in my stomach
That would not go away no matter what I tried.

Then, they told me you had slipped away in the night
You began that splendid journey you spoke about.
I did not cry because I had no crying left,
But I cannot stop the gnawing in my stomach
Which will never go away, no matter how long,
Lingering, the heart ache that will last forever.

This Is How I Feel

I wanna wake up this is a dream this isn’t real.
Just this week you told me you loved me and I told you how I feel.
Now for some reason you have begun to hate.
Hate me for an unknown reason and it’s really taking a toll on my mental state.
Everything was fine everything was so good.
But then something happened and you left me like I knew you would.
I wish I could escape somewhere with Beautiful sands.
But I’m stuck here cold with my bleeding heart in my hands.
I love you so very very much so hard.
But I did some thing in life, life dealt me this card.
I’m sorry that I couldn’t make you happy couldn’t make you smile.
Id do anything to see that gorgeous smile I haven’t seen it in a while.
This happened it’s done it’s over and I have to be strong.
Because I guess in your arms I do not belong.

One Heart-Ache After Another

One heart-ache after another
That's the way it's been for me
In the beginning it was no bother
But now, I've opened my eyes to see.

That one heart-ache after another
Builds up in the heart
And after so many
It's best to stop it before it starts.

'Cause one heart-ache after another
It just doesn't have to be
So, get the facts from your lover
Before you let your heart run free.

So, one heart-ache after another
That's it - for me
No more heart-aches to encounter
No more heart-aches for me.

Never Let Your Heart Ache

R-aindrops come falling again,
O-ceans are getting rough;
W-ind is rugged and violent,
E-veryone must be strong enough.
N-ever let your heart ache, nor let your both eyes cry;
A-llow twenty-second December to meet the bright sky.

M-ake the Thursday sweet,
O-pen the box of a cake;
I-t's your birthday party,
N-ever let your heart
A-che.

Heart Ache

Why now the heart is sad?
When I have everything,
What is this and that now?
Whose heart is looking for.
Why now the heart is sad?

Finding whom in the heart,
Who is not with me now?
How are these thieves thirsty?
The pain in which my heart
remains blissful every moment?
What does it mean?
Let me tell you now ,
Why is it all with me?

Why now the heart is sad?
When I have everything,
What is this and that now?
Whose heart is looking for.

Don'T Let Your Heart Ache

D-on't let your heart ache,
A-s the sun begins to set;
N-ovember eighteenth day
I-s not excused from fret.
C-ry not a river of tears, when the sky gets dark;
A-fternoon becomes night, like a shadow in the park.

O-ne heart is bleeding
B-ecause of the wound;
L-et it eventually mend
I-nside where it's positioned.
G-ray clouds up in the sky
A-re turning into a storm;
C-old chilling raindrop
I-sn't making you warm.
O-bliterate the fears, as the dawn starts to break;
N-ever let your eyes cry, don't let your heart ache.

Heart Ache

Poached over within my chair crying tears of vulnerability
Mind racing while my thoughts refuse to form
So beautiful she was,
Solid individual disappeard like mist in the mist of hardship
Faith in her character was rewritten
Good music plays throughout the room of a empty house
Feeling as low as an impala below sea level
Drowning for days in a pool of anguish
Was blind to the truth but was rocked abruptly
Eyes wide open ,but not in time
Echoes of "I love you " play thoroughly in my head
Turn the station, I don't like this song anymore ...

Heart Ache

She looked at me
Confused and anxious
Why?..
The unmouthed question
Because i care so much..
The unspoken answer
Sometimes those who love
Hurt each other the most
And not all the time
Is it a deliberate act

Splitting Heart Ache

visions of you
romantic visions of just us two
can these visions be possibly true

dreams of you
wonderful dreams of just us two
are these dreams really really true

my heart is now black and blue
my heart was once for you
my heart is now broken

in two
