Reflections

As one who has walked upon this earth, taking many a path in this plain.
Known sorrow, laughter, joy, heart ache, love, hate and the ache of pain.

As one who has savored the taste of many unconventional dishes,
exotic cuisine from many nations, worlds beyond any of my wishes.

The infinity of one, not but fleeting glimpses of a delicious moment
swiftly traversing life’s rocky roads towards an end and then spent

in the remaining hours of ones expeditiously passing life’s journey,
into ones memory hoard, into the unfathomable depths of eternity.

Premium Member Has It Been

Has it been ?

It has been – from then until now – a long winding road,
journeying through forests, up mountains, in graveyards,
down valleys, into hell fires, experiencing life’s diversions,
filled – heart ache, heart break, pointless pain inflicted
and yet, continues to carry on - arriving at this place,
this point in time and space, that I have come to – empty !

Has it been ?, fate, destiny, genetics, karma, heritage,
unenlightened choices that have guided the foot steps
to the door, behind which an empty heart, an indifferent
soul, a cold spirit awaits, to foil every attempt to enter.
Could ?, this ghostly apparition be the avenging angel
- for – setting before me, for me all the pain,
all the heartache that has followed in my wake
as I take, this, my journey towards the empty,
meaningless, void that seems to be me and my life.
Only the stars, steel bars and the angels know
what lies behind / within the shadows of this life !

In the final Analysis

Destiny – she seems to, always be shutting the gate.
She has been, closing in, her garden on my fate.
She has been given the opportunity to know my dreams,
but nothing of my desires, does she want, it seems.
I would love to know the sun setting in her Autumn green eyes,
To lie the night long / the morning into the sun rise
from her beautiful face, feel the warmth – hidden – it could bring
to this aching heart, this alone soul, my world, to make birds sing.
The pain, the heart ache, much to great- for my desire,
to live on with the direction it has been heading – ashes from fire
are what I feel, dust - I can not, will not pay for what is not for me.
The price to high for a foundation weak – to high the fee
for what does not already exist – really – as I see
it – in what does not come from the heart.
Expectations of trivial matters ! – pursuits of ?, - no place to start !

Inner Struggle

it's inevitable
the smiles,
talks,
laughs
you come at the darkest hour
revealing a light-
and before you know it
those nights turn into days
those days turn into years-
have I met you?
Perhaps it's an illusion
a game of mind vs. heart
manipulative, evil
making your heart believe this is it
a stop for heart ache
but when you get so attached

the world's distorted
breathing each other's air
is it merely obsession?
Something so pure
it perfectly eats you alive
a lingering camouflage of hope?
3 months is the turning point
you're unsure where to run
your next move
how many steps
unable to decipher
is this what I want?
Is this destiny
or a false hope- a bridge

I can't explain the purity
without thinking your name
and how it sounds
how it rings in my ears just of the thought
you linger there somewhere between my head and heart
day after day
do you think of me?

Anticipation builds until we meet again
but then what-

you're remains keep getting stronger
I see into your eyes when we're apart
sensing, feeling every emotion
yet I can't bare the thought of this desperation-
this unexplicable loyalty
this feeling so real is so discreet
and hidden with perplexed ideas of love
coated with casual infatuation

A hauntingly beautiful perception-
of a bond
one that exists in fairy tales, myths
one that pressures you to be together
is it fate
or merely an obsession

What a lonely, peculiar, eccentric figure i must be. A girl, in a garden, crying at an iPad, in the dark.

Earlier, at school...

It was a clear spelling out, like steel cuts thru fruit.

As he spoke he looked down and away, his gorgeous face blank and indifferent, as if I were wasting his time or he was talking to a child needing an obvious truth taught quickly.

When he finally looked back at me, I saw no pity in his impersonal, hazel eyes.

I couldn't breathe, I couldn't think, I needed time to contemplate the universe's new laws.

Can a girl just suddenly die of heart-ache?? because I was sure my heart had stopped, locked and frozen.

Finally, I gasped in this impossible new air - the force of it made me hold the cold-iron stair railing - the game is rough.

He's so... male - all chase and careless passion - intelligent teaser, a skilled steersman of excited climates... Oh, you simply have no idea.

And now he was, gone, still there, but gone to me - as if he'd transformed into a hologram or had begun to orbit some other sun, he just...

"You made me feel special." I said.

I had lost my balance on this faithless and unequal world, where heaven so cruelly punishes desires.

"You made me feel I mattered, such a favor." I said, absentmindedly, as I turned, and went back up the three steps into school.

I don't think I looked back at him as the door closed. After all, he wasn't there any more.

I think he called my name, like a question...

People Change

People change, whether you like it or not; if you can see it or notice it…; a beautiful thing. People tend to drift apart. Some people even stay together; life's a mystery. At the same rate it’s not uncommon for people to be in love. It’s all too common, unfortunately, for this feeling to be one sided. Utter heart ache, pains and struggle. Daily and nightly, another love lost lust, crushed with one thrust, and poof… Dust, laugh, lie, hide and deny, but these feelings do not subside. We give up… We try… We give up... We try… Again, it seems impossible to win. We lose… We blame drugs and over populate schools. Minimize facts and simplify rules. Clear your brain and expose your jewels. Endless knowledge for all to share; singular consciousness bonded by life and treated unfair. If you change for the good, that outcome is rare. Live as one equal. For better or worse, till death do we part? In the end of it all just know in your heart... People change and people drift apart…

I

So am I here standing in mine presentence;
Promenaded engaging in mid-life stream
Never-ending yet moving in standing premise;
Evaporate, I’m jest a mist,

Cold heart ache I am predestine;
Ruminate and step,
Over and over again and again;
I creep joyously I slept
Covered in air,
Transparent where are;
Mine gifts of lore’;

II

Promises of the garden shows;
plantings of the premised tolls;
All and how gallant,
Streaming marches spider-ants;
Planetary delights, shiny bright;
Moon peaking in the daylight;
Coving the suns stare,
Milky skies of silver and white clouds,
Covered in air,
Transparent where are;
Mine gifts of lore’

My Furry Daughters, Goodbye

I knew the day will come
When I'll missed seeing these two furry babies
Jumping on me with excitement
Asking me bread and treats
you two were grateful for one chapatti each
You two were indebted to me for water and milk
You two were protecting me like you were my angel army
Dora and Kira my babies from the Street
You two were unwanted for those who never loved you
But to me, you were my loyal friend,
my furry daughters from the unexpected place.
My heart ache, missing you
I tried every possible ways to make you know that I care
Despite the fact that some people were against keeping you
Dora my baby, you were a ferocious eater
You like to sleep. I Miss you
Kira my baby, you were a responsible sister to Dora
You like playing with toys and watching my every moves
I miss you.
Sometime dying seems better than living without home
Sometime leaving this earth is better than living without love
I did my best and you two trusted me more than I deserve to be trusted.
Run free my babies my furry daughters, run free
Play and bark as much as you want
Free from hunger and thirst
Free from strangers thrust
Be free my girls, Be free
Here I'm missing you
Flipping through all the photographs over and over
I loved you and I will cherish the short time spent with you two
With tears I'll smile
looking back the sweet and cute old days with you two.
I love you always.
The hardest word I'll say, Goodbye.

An unexplored Adventure.
I know what will be !

There is an emptiness, creating – depression – a hole
that a deep sadness fills – thoughts of take their toll
on an alone heart that seeks, destiny with so much more.
The choices made, become the hands that close the door
on all that hope was creating for me – sublime dreams.
All that is, all that is felt, all I see – for me it seems
is sadness, emptiness, heart ache, - at the hands of fate
are – for me, words, feeling the voices of the gods state
will be my coarse upon the oceans, seas, rivers of life.
And so , as end days near, what prevails will be blind strife
who’s tears cut deep into my heart like a surgeons knife
extricating emotions, feelings without any notion
as to why ?, things are as they are – at a standstill, no motion
left to carry me forward, give me hope, give reason
from the one I love – in this game of love, in my last season ?
I feel as though I am fading, becoming the disappearing man,
becoming invisible as my departing hour – soon at hand –
will open a door through which – as swift as it can –
all I sought will run to another, and there, alone, will I stand
once again, heart in hand, without hope – the dream dead,
pictures, memories, experiences, heartache to fill my head.
I will always remember the joys, the pleasures, what was good,
the walks, the talks, the adventures, where we once stood
in the other’s shadow, glow, in what we had come to know
of the secrets that make up you and me, seldom to show
their faces to ourselves, yet we have told the other, truth
as we have come to see them. Oh, where is your youth ?,
where has she gone ?, that beauty I toughed once or twice
and have to say, if I could have, every day, how nice !
I will – my Dear, - cherish every morsel until the end !
I will – my Dear, - always be – if nothing else – your friend.

My Heart Ache

In the quiet of the night, under the pale moon's light,
A heart whispers softly, burdened with its plight.
The echoes of laughter, now silent in the halls,
Memories like specters, on the mind's walls.

The ache is a shadow, a constant, silent guest,
A reminder of the love that once filled the chest.
It lingers in the corners, where happiness once danced,
In the empty spaces, where love once chanced.

Yet within this sorrow, where the tears freely flow,
Lies the strength of the human, a resilient glow.
For even as the heart aches, and the soul feels its loss,
It beats on bravely, despite the heavy cost.

So let the pain be a teacher, not just a bitter sting,
A guide to a future, where the heart can again sing.
For every ache felt deeply, is love's enduring mark,
A testament to its power, even when the world's dark.
