With Sun, Passing Away

No tweet's lack, no wind's slackness
Is behind this hush.
Awe. Multiple-eyed; dew-moist.
Earth's. Sprigged, leaved and grassed.

Man, having, what in the soul
Lights, diviner, faith
Snuffed out, for a face of dread
As it were drained of
This of its hallowing love
Shows what's harder glassed.

Stain glassed window- Nette Onclaud, 6-11-2026, all that glass

Noone asks the glass
how many times it was broken
before it learned to hold the light
blue for the mornings
I almost gave up
glad for the small joys
that found me anyway
green for the places
I outgrew in silence
red for the words
I never read aloud
from far away
it looks whole
closer
you can see every crack
where something sharp
once passed through
yet, the sun enters
still. the room is changing
still, the darkness turns bright
in the quiet air
and shadows soften
where the colors fall
maybe this is how healing starts
not as a perfect pane
clear and unscathed
but as pieces gathered
after shattering
each one holding color
each one remembering its pain
each one gives back light
in a shape
only the wounded
could make beautiful
and when the evening comes
the colors don't fade away
they wait quietly in the shadows
like someone holding her breath
until the morning sun finds them
and they shine once again

Never; Nor From This Sickroom

Lone left Earth: "would you deny
A fancied one
That look of admiration
Deserving of?"
Again; more perplexed than sad:
"No more please you?
Who, vowing it, has stayed true
Beauty for love".
Please, I beg, with this teared rain
Through swirled gusts quit.
Believe, here what's glassed, smile-lit
None can remove.

Overlooking A Troubled World

Locked as deep away
What's yet glassed each day
Thought-secure and thought-serene
For world, sense- blurred.

Too grim overcast.
Or blows up too fast.
For a weather-type, down there
What all have incurred.

cobweb faerie with your moonlit hair
your stain glassed wings make white seem bare
as delicate a faerie as we have ever seen
to the moon light eve you bring a gorgeous sheen

Day, At Last

Its splendour of descending
A sky window's
Crazy glassed view
Bettered, and for what's but felt
Hearts, cool blown through.

Day of its fire is ending!
More sun's, spewed forth
For wrath, more vile!
Each street, so worked up, west-faced
Refreshed does smile.

I sail
in my dream world
on waters glassed
towards my own true north
the wind fills billowing sails
as birds glide

"Did you know Orcas can live 70 - 100 years."

An Orca leaps the water glassed,
a sweet scene in the sunrise bliss;
O, experience unsurpassed,
an Orca leaps. .

He wished to give the sun a kiss,
leaving the boat viewers aghast;
experience to reminisce.

With sharp teeth- a killer whale classed,
then, he sinks into the abyss;
these beautiful creatures swim fast,
an Orca leaps . . .

Snow

The untimed snow rushed insulted against the glassed shoulders on the poster,
and they were made of paper, they were bare…
It cried, scalded, on the painted, colorful faces,
and they were made of paper, they were bare…
Its outraged tears transformed into tears of joy,
and through them they were still smiling,
not caring for the bitter cold,
in defiance of the delayed spring,
Because they knew,
It could not wash away their colors,
It could not cover their bare shoulders.

Premium Member A City Beautiful

       Ottawa, Ontario
once a desolate snowfield
      now, a city of Gothic
and Victorian buildings downtown
with stunning glassed towers
         a mingling of architecture's
copper-roofed Victorian homes
      and just vintage old
                stained-glass windows
mixed with the modern
and huge wrapped porch homes
on quiet, peaceful tree-lined streets
    like stepping back in time
             parks of solitude, inspiring
streams where swans and ducks
           float and glide
   neighbourhood's of new homes
just one beautiful city in
            Canada

We live our lives each day on the clock,
one eye on the future the other the past.
Our past we can’t alter but we take stock,
our future we find our vision is glassed.

So we learn to live each day as it arrives,
leaving earlier paths we’ve tread behind.
Content with burial in memories archives,
for now, in today, we’re presently confined.

My imprisoned glassed serenade
~beyond trades blues for juicy sea
topsy turvy ocean swayed surfers
and curvy wavy beachy onlookers
for flat surfs turned deep sea divers

~blues further me

too funny ok
lovers tryst

ok twas the wrong time for faces to disappear
don't turn your back to the sea

Lena's Lament

      Heroines fought battles, overcame
      hardships to proclaim victory
      Lena's sedentary reel, same same
      Pristine paged humdrum story

      Secure foundation led steadily wed
      Chores' blur bolstered home
      Wholesale whore for husband's bed
      Battle liberated life bemoan

Pencil skirt vixens strut on television
      Bold shoulder pads deception
      Kids' Father ensured ample provision
      Fed a fortress family protection

Frumpy comfort hot oven soap opera
      Glazed gaps, glassed gorgeous
      Razzmatazz Rochelle dating a doctor
      Lena's latent longing engorges

                   27th June
           Heaven for Heathens

As Comforted By, Autumn Eve

As comforted by, Autumn eve
With it, approaching
Choice grim hansom requested of
The sombre-inclined.

Aptly quaint, to be enclosed
And snuck away in
Misty-glassed, puce velvet-hung, down
Dim pasts that does wind.

Premium Member I Just Kept My Feelings Glassed

Days move so quickly, gone lightening fast
I blinked once, and four decades were in my past
Never found the words to tell you, nothing is ever left to last
Standing in this shadow, yet still another cast
Would it be better if I just kept my feelings glassed?
Even with all the recoil, I just face the endless backblast
Emptiness of missing you, however unsurpassed
Perhaps in this life's cell, I'll experience a neuroblast
