Premium Member My Inner Voice Told Me

Johari window;
no one can see through this pane,
where I make my decisions.
my thoughts ala carte,
and not all desirable,
sussed out in my universe;
perplexing to me.
sift through so many pages -
childhood habits and missteps.
when faith came my way,
how divine the candlelight,
the Spirit lighting my path.
electrifying,
sword of positivity
discerning my every word.
don’t always listen
to the reproof; button up.
shame’s not a place to live. look
up to God’s grace; bow
down in that out of sight place;
forward march into glory.
sometimes there are storms:
depression, obsessive fraughts.
I pray through it; God’s faithful.
lingering in brain,
too long, could drive me cuckoo;
get in, get out, get moving.
inner voice, I must control.

Premium Member Santa Arrival

Air traffic control has spotted a strange object in the sky
Moving at the speed of sound, bright lights flashing by
Radio contact has been made, a request to land on every roof in town
Air space has been cleared, and the landing textbook without a sound
A man in a red suit climbs out to check the flight crew of eight reindeer
A last chance to view the naughty and nice list before he disappears
The elves have reported all the chimneys are clear
Santa has been on a strict weight loss program, no need to fear
Presents are all separated and ready for delivery, must be handled with care
Timeline to get moving, such a big job no time to spare
Christmas comes but once a year, enjoy it spread goodwill and lots of cheer
Thank you Santa for another job well done, and we will see you again next year

Premium Member Family

I awoke to the sounds of music that fired up my day
Time to get moving and go outside and play
Life has so many wonderful things to enjoy
Gathering up the troops and the dog, we are ready to deploy
A day at the beach with sunshine awaits
A full complement of fun in store, surely not up for debate
We all need to find more moments with the people we love
Our relatives who have moved on look down from above
How you spend your time is the building block to a wonderful life, I would have to submit
In the big picture, we are here for a short visit, we need to make the most of it
All the worrying in the world will not change anything for the better
A glorious day is nearing its end, made so much more special having our family together

Deep Thoughts by Jude, Handsy

The Obiden Administration is the yeast infection of society.
The improv of impropriety.
The B squad strip club-bullet scarred-in line item
veto
of buffet line, Golden Corral of Megiddo of Communism in the sub zero Winter of our discontent manifest manifesto, with supply lines severed and trucking lines red line crossed white line fevered,
picking up hitch-hikers instead of towing the bill
of more spam, poltical theater,
this time at the border,
Jihad ampetheater.

Where's the oil drilling, refineries, manufacturing (besides lies)
where is the poor and middle class relief?
Where's the Beef!?
Our former lives.
Well its been burned in processing plant fires,
alot of them.
Got Milk?
Got your vaccine?
Get moving this line isn't for gasoline.
Its for booster shots, the other two for media education and guillotines.(I will add this here, so there isn't 1666 characters in the box) now, 1591,

...there, oops it went down again

Morning Blues

Put the coffee on
clear your head
make some breakfast
get out of bed
walk to the kitchen
begin the day
just get moving
and you will be on your way
go through the motions
as the time slowly passes
do the dishes
clean your glasses
go down the hall
wash your face
brush your teeth
go at your own pace
go through the day
and just remember
where there is a will
theres a way

Premium Member Stiffening Up

I can't get moving today
All my oomph has flown away,
I keep on muttering Um and Ah
Realising this won't take me far
I gave up and decided to play, OK.

Premium Member The Bottom Line

I've never sat so long and contemplated
I start to fidget and get irritated
I have plenty to do that I find dreary
And just the thought of this makes me tired and weary
I must get moving although it's something I dread
Because I can feel my posterior beginning to spread

Always I Am Leaving

Leaving
                                         Must get moving
Not sure why I must go
Oh yes, lovely family and friends
I miss them, so far away. Need embrace
But hard to leave this quiet place
Work and friends here are dear
                                           Always I am
                                              Leaving

Premium Member Entering Forest As a Chosen One

Little lithe and lightly
Little lithe and lightly
Little lithe and lightly
little lithe and lightly

Faeries are waiting so let's get started
Into the deep forest, where people do not go
But you can, for you are a chosen one.
The chosen one for today. But let's get moving. It is daybreak.

Little lithe and lightly
Little lithe and lightly
Little lithe and lightly
little lithe and lightly

The sun will soon be full up in the sky, watching.
We do not want to disappoint her, do we?
Of course not. After what she has done for us.
After what she has done for us.

Duel of Gods

He stopped attentive,
like a man who always listens.
But maybe his eyes or his senses could not conduct him farther.

Along his way he was always attentive but not quite heard any voice
except at this precise moment.

A Duel of gods.

When some of them issued their "Broken Sentence"
"Let him return alone by his mad road".

And other responded:
Those were words quite different from those of the First Creation
So we say:
Man. Fear not, for you will conquer in the Trial!
So. Don´t stay behind. Get moving again!

Because you'll carry out the "Broken Sentence" - But in reverse -.

And above all let us know.
Let the gods know
which road you finally decided to follow.

Frustration In the City

Morning traffic does make our mood dour,
and driving to work mentally sour,
we drive and then stop,
just get moving and prop,
and this is supposed to be rush hour.

Rise Or Fall

Author Dana Redricks
July 16, 2018

God for us all
We either rise or fall
We can't get were going
until get moving
We are not responsible
for how others feel
but to ourselves we must
remain real
People come and people go
but in the end true loyalty
will show
Don't get too attached to people
that's when you let yourself
get hurt
Be quick to forgive
Unforgiveness is too of much
a burden to bare and remember
God is the truest friend
we will have comes
The purest love comes from above

Why People Why

Why people why

About so many things I want to let fly,

Political correctness is like a stick in my eye.

Capitalism and greed over helping others, WHY ?

State sanctioned murder, yeah let the innocent fry.

Apathetic laziness, will lead to obesity,

Get moving people, it’s hard but it works trust me.

My lazy Son the millennial wants it all to come easy.

His education costs a fortune but it should be free.

I like Rap music but not the way it denigrates ladies.

The way it glorifies drugs makes me crazy like rabies

And the language is horrid, no ifs, buts or maybes.

But worst is violence towards kids or on babies.

Spring Garden

I can feel spring is in the air today.
I hear my garden remonstrating me.
Please come out here and clear these leaves away.
Bulbs are beginning to bud, come and see.
Rose bushes need pruned, the trestle is falling.
"Wake up! Get moving!" the garden's calling.
