Frustration In the City

Morning traffic does make our mood dour, and driving to work mentally sour, we drive and then stop, just get moving and prop, and this is supposed to be rush hour.

Hi Lindsay, traffic is horrendous morning or evening and as more people buy cars, the situation will worsen. Your limerick is so true and well written - thank you Lindsay. Poetry hugs, Jennifer. P.S. I always thought that S.A traffic jams hit a world record high, but it seems this is a worldwide problem!

It's funny how some names can reflect opposite meanings that way. I'm glad I don't face this too often since I get off work early afternoon.

I don't know how traffic is going to be able to move 5 - 10 years from now Lindsay. Pathways in the sky somehow should be the answer . Very frustrating traffic pattern here in South Africa also and taxi's add to the problem world wide, the roads belong to them! I like this limerick a lot Lindsay. Poetry wishes,, Jennifer

Sounds like the traffic in many U.S. cities, Lindsay. Great punch line! If one is truly in a rush, this stop-and-go traffic is unsettling. Best wishes, Carolyn
