as you walk the street
you hear a back beat
than get moving feet
feeling stark don't walk
listen to the bell show and tell

I can't get moving today
All my oomph has flown away,
I keep on muttering Um and Ah
Realising this won't take me far
I gave up and decided to play, OK.
Morning traffic does make our mood dour,

I hear my garden remonstrating me.
Please come out here and clear these leaves away.
Bulbs are beginning to bud, come and see.
Rose bushes need pruned, the trestle is falling.
"Wake up! Get moving!" the garden's calling.
I've never sat so long and contemplated
I start to fidget and get irritated
I have plenty to do that I find dreary
And just the thought of this makes me tired and weary
I must get moving although it's something I dread
Because I can feel my posterior beginning to spread
alone amongst a crowded room,
my eyes do lock, what is that tune?
and all is gone, my sweet fortune,
my loving Empress of the moon,
her smile is just for me,
a phase of insanity,
get moving feet, and soon!

clear your head
make some breakfast
get out of bed
walk to the kitchen
begin the day
just get moving
and you will be on your way
go through the motions
as the time slowly passes
do the dishes
clean your glasses
go down the hall
wash your face
brush your teeth

where there is a will
