Having a CT Scan in a couple of days
Most likely looking for a brain
Hope they find something that resembles such
Not finding one might be a strain
Might think the Scanner is no longer working
Nothing's showing up on the screen
Came up with an idea for having some fun
Pulled the plug and heard someone scream
“Look at this, this man's missing a brain”
Never in the annuls of medicine
Have they come across this rare phenomenon
His head's filled with a stuff like gelatin
Literally ten doctors were quickly summoned
All looked astonished and took notes
Chuckled to myself at the fuss I'd created
TV stations were looking for quotes!
Finally had to tell them of my fun little gig
But most didn't find it too funny
Told me, “Lie down and no more shenanigans
Or the nurse will call your mummy!

Your racing bike is broken with a bad derailleur.
I look back at my life and admit it’s a failure.
If a daft old hen laying scrambled eggs, so sad, can,
Then I will concede that I’m an addle-brained madman.
Like a leafless tree holding a kite frame skeleton,
Your arms and my legs are no stronger than gelatin.
As an eagle whose threadbare wings will no longer fly,
It’s time now for me to find a quiet place to die.

day and night it haunts me so,
yesterday you were bovine,
swine,
or rodent,
now gelatin surrounds you,
confined in tin,
fresh by chemical and sodium,
now resting in the cabinet,
until I peel you open today,
or in two years?
no matter the day,
you are just as beautiful
as the day I bought you,
and the one next to you without cost

In his closet Mort had a skeleton
Draped o'er an undelivered Peleton
A bag of bones himself
Mort was a Christmas elf
Dined on doughnut holes atop gelatin

And with her “Chicken Nipple Dip”
and crackers set to side
She checked her table once again
and smiled a smile of pride
The ‘Duck Tongue” toast and “Pig Pate’”
she thought were sure to please
And don’t forget, she’s made a batch
of tasty “Old Goat Cheese”
The “Possum Parfait” glaze dessert
no sweet tooth should resist
But don’t disturb her ‘Aspic Owl”
lest she would smack your wrist
The gelatin of ‘Bladder Fish”
salts her most lively stew
I’m not sure if it’s still alive
but sure it’s good for you
So when your invitations come
do save the date for sure
I’m certain you’ll not want to miss
this night’s “Menu Du Jour”

It seemed to me, at the outset, an abacus,
Of nursery kids; and, lo, looked less glamorous;
It had scales fixed on a piano skeleton,
While an abacus shone like beads in gelatin...!
It has an Asian origin, someone told me,
(Does it mean continent chauvinism sets me free?)
I listened to it once, as a snake its charmer,
After all, can any music be a harmer...?
Rough, razor-sharp, clattering, bubbling, and doubling,
Shrill, hollow, ticking, transparent, and less troubling;
Odd rough ringing, clanging, and gonging pulled my soul,
I felt, in xylophonic tune, I had a role...!
Harmony, as that of the other rhythmic tools,
In xylophone too, like deep freshwater lakes, pools;
Tunes and tones, like echoes from mountains and hills filled,
My heart, with its melodic mood, got wildly thrilled...!!!

Colorful cookies, black devil’s food cake,
hot apple cider and cool caramel crunchies.
Carrot straws and more goodies to bake,
a yummy table set with Halloween munchies.
Bring out the brownies and round soulcake,
toffee apples, moon pies, and mixed nuts.
Scatter spaghetti brains on eyeballs fake.
Serve honey nut toes in green gelatin guts.
Tiny, evil faces on purple boiled eggs.
orange cotton candy for banshee updo.
Break out the cups for slurpee kegs.
Time to drink wicked witches brew.
Marshmallow bodies and pretzel stick bones.
Skeletons covered in ghoulish green gore.
Sharp squeaky cheese sounds eerie tones.
Eat till you’re full, then eat some more.

My brain is on constant overdrive
and it won't leave me alone.
Thinking, thinking, thinking
about random bull every second of the day.
Like whether I can weather the weather...
How exactly will I die?
Don't get me started about late night,
wide-eyed, crooked arm behind-the-head, ceiling-staring
thinking myself in circles.
Probably why my thoughts have little to no point;
it's even worse when I'm stoned.
Oil is produced from dinosaur bones
and gelatin is made from animal bones.
So can my niece power her school bus with her packed lunch?
I think about past mistakes,
but what use is thinking about them if I can't change a thing?
Sleep overtakes me as I think about what thinking means...

good-looking gorgeous gregarious godmother of mine
guards graceful gracious grateful great-grandma so fine
giddy girls giving genuine gumdrops, guiding GIs to Guinea,
Generating ghastly ghostly gibberish unheard by many,
Gently germinating geometric gelatin a plenty.
Golden goggles glowing good-naturedly
I like these giddy girls who giggle wholesomely.

volcano
Huge explosives of nascent hydrogen
twelve hundred square feet explosive house
in companionship of a gentle woman loaded with gelatin
in liquid nitroglycerin's warm touch
sweet mouth of potassium cyanide.
A lively life; Chloroform
covered fragrant heart door.
In the sea of happiness, in the stream of dark red blood
crowded with carbon monoxide and arsenic
Life is such a horrible beautiful volcano.

Happy birthday, dear Genalyn,
The jam is safe and suitable;
A jelly made with gelatin
Is delicious and edible.

always knew you could
be a bright person while good
which you always should
will watch the melting
be skinny like skeleton
dried up gelatin
God is omniscient
as well as omnipotent
also efficient
we started to grope
remember bacteria hope
with a downward slope
we would have great health
when supported by much wealth
flying in a stealth
Jim Horn
while loading cattle
there had been a big battle
settle in seattle

Volcanic, rustic, crackling leaves
bright coral sunset, gifts last light
obscure darkness, daylight thieves
deep pockets prevent frostbite,
singed gooey marshmallow delights.
Ghost stories relayed by torchlight
joyful, flustered, silly faces
elated sugar rush heights,
toffee lousy for braces
competitive doorstep races.
Lantern flames, lead ghoul skeleton
into inky bleak locations,
candy bags filled with gelatin
miniature fright night, palpitations
pumpkins, handmade creations
