he had failed in his first attempt
...The cat wouldn’t

I know now that im older and have experience in matters of the heart
No matter what your head insists, it will want the opposite of smart
You will not be able to make it see reason or dissuade it from its desire
It will only beat in the flames of its own raging fire
It will jump and dance around if left to have its own way
But deprive it and it will soon start to decay
Such a fickle organ with which we carelessly give out
Trusting someone else with its care no doubt
After that so many things can happen or come about
It all depends on their choices and planned route
I feel like it’s a dangerous game we play to entrust
With all the confusion like is it love or is it lust?
How can we leave it up to chance?
Something as important as romance
When it decides its going to rise above
All the way full fledged love
Its over with and done now you can only wait
To see what comes of it, what is your fate?
Will it grow strong and become one for goodness sake?
Or will it take a brutal blow, shatter and break?
If only you could guide it with logic and rational thought from your brain
Maybe then love would make sence, instead it is labled insane.

That's a sin for God and all creation.
A stone-like heart best describes you.
Blood sei, Nubia tears, and a brief elision
Extremely wide and bone-white in hue.
The grin you used to wear long ago
Has vanished into a sea of bitter tears.
The whale you sought in the bay sank low.
bears wisdom and bravery without fear.
Your whole crew is incredibly brave.
With some wild spears in a back-alley saloon,
The mania grew into a full-fledged tidal wave.
They dragged the ship and are now maroons.
Don't travel faraway on one prosthetic foot.
Turn around the vessel; we still hope yet.
A despair pall lingered over the deck soot.
For prancing sake, we've never met.
If you hinder ignoring us, we will all die shortly.
Doom's mind and soul are free of sea spirit.
I hope that you'll be standing by to greet me.
Power derived from the same source to inherit.

The old oak tree.
So happy I wrote: Lovely!
“Let us hear the bluebell call,
the daffodil pray,
the apple blossom bear witness.”
I hip hip hurrah’d this paradigmatic poem.
I read it a few minutes ago and thought aww…
how do I comment now, so Harry will see.
So glad I had read this in the past,
before our dear Harry passed. Suddenly,
I hear one solitary and full-fledged chirp outside.
Has Harry stopped by?
Dabbing an eye.

Singing so sweetly the lark spread its’ tune
Amidst the foggy morning it’s lover did swoon
Natures’ dance of remarkable love
Took place before me in the skies above
Two little chirps a skip right a jump left
Full fledged flip whistles puffed out chest
And I in my chair in awe of this show
Smiling widely so pleased and aglow.

Remember holding your first born child?
The wonder of this newborn mesmerized you…
Remember when they took their first step?
How proud you were as they turned and smiled at you…
Remember when they said, that precious first word?
The joy of hearing them articulate clearly…
Remember when they started school?
How you held back the tears, they grow so fast!
Remember when they started questioning you?
You felt such gratitude for being able to teach them…
Remember when the school first contacted you?
The apprehension that others did not appreciate your child…
Remember when they snuck out at night?
The vigil you held waiting for that call…
Remember the relief mingled with anger, time and again?
How could you have produced such a contrary individual…
Remember the full-fledged adult before you?
The one you have loved deeply…
Remember each stage of their growth?
They still need you!

The landscape is fully lit with possibility dreams
a prominant oak is rising to the forefront of the leafy boulevard
Shaking her fiery head of gold, orange and scarlet
She is more colorful than full-fledged flames
I was mesmerized and intrigued.
Stopped to admire her, thinking she was part of my journey.
My soul said "she may be your desitnation".
For an hour or so, I could not go another step toward town,
enjoying the mystical magical feeling
of the trees, especially the colorful oak who called my name.
I still think about her to this day, twenty years later.

You, my son, are tall-grown now,
Yet, purity in you is seen, somehow;
You have pals many esteeming you,
Assuring to abide eternally near you;
You feel a vague shyness to face me,
Though, surely, you awfully love me;
I don’t feel hurt for your way, any way,
As I was once just the same way;
You’ve attained your sixteen today,
Your boyhood slowly fading away;
You’ll have, many revels of the same,
That should, surely, be your aim;
I’ve got your room well adorned;
To celebrate this day full-fledged;
Best of clothes, edibles, and cake,
All well-prepared for your sake;
Mom has surprises for you as well,
I know you’ll like them very well;
Though I’m not on the rich-men-list,
I know I can give you my very best;
Many are delightfully gift-packed,
Attractive too as they are purchased;
There is a no-packed unseen thing,
You may not tangibly see or feeling;
That’s the love from my heart, my son,
Hovering over all the gifts finely seen;
That tells you always I’m for you,
I’ve loved; and always will love you…

You are now a Super Hero they told me
full fledged?
Head nods.
Can I tell my family?
Screeeeeeech
You can tell no one
What about my lover?
Hard shake no
My best friend?
No.
Mom?
How is her hearing?
They stormed my apartment and arrested me an hour later
Who knew my dog was wired?
