Premium Member You Will Follow Your Heart

the child’s fate line split her palm
Deep and deliberate, it favored mystic crosses
the soothsayer had never seen such a palm
she had heard of the possibility, though
she looked into the child’s eyes
they were innocent, light blue, trusting

you will make a difference in the world, she told the child
what will I do? the child asked
You will follow your heart she told her.
She patted her hand, because she could not resist.
This was a peace keeper, it was rare to find one.
Your heart has the answers, the fortune teller said.

Will she be rich? This question was from the child’s mother.
Rich in experiences, rich in friends, rich in adventures.
The child left smiling.

Follow your heart the old woman said.
I gave her a smirk. Why wasn’t she dead?
This is a cliché’ that never works with a person like me.
I don’t know my heart; she is as smothered as she can be.

When I was a child feelings were to be scoffed.
If you showed my mom tears, she laughed until she coughed.
She made fun of me, and she made me feel small.
Sharing my feelings or following my heart would take away my all.

Just Follow Your Heart

Two people together, yet so far apart,
Brings back that old saying -
“Just follow your heart.”

It isn’t easy; things get in the way,
There are far too many problems
In this cruel world today.

If some would see their own mistakes
Instead of minding yours
Let you cope with what comes up
And what God has in store.

This sure would be a better place
For lovers everywhere,
If some would keep things to themselves
And not get in your hair.

There aren’t any guarantees
You know that from the start
Just remember the saying -
“Just follow your heart.”

Follow Your Heart

Magic breathes life in our hearts
 Destiny resides in our souls
Our path now shimmers unshadowed by the night
With one embrace partnered by a tender kiss, the bounds

of time and distance crumble through fingers like drifting
 grains of sand
Dream time is the place where I am alive
Green eyes ripple into lipid pools where miracles draw me

 to your heart
I am free to swim by your side until the sun sets and
 rises with you again
 Life is my dream

 I love you

Follow Your Heart

Don’t be pushed by your problems
Be led by your dreams
Live the life
you want to live

Be the person you want to remember
years from now
Make decisions
and act on them

Know in your heart
that you gave your dreams
your best shot
Each of us has a fire
in our hearts
burning for something
Find it
and keep it lit

This is your life
And it’s a short one
Disappointments may occur
But these are challenges
Tests of persistence
And courage

Follow your own intuition
And dream with your eyes open
Until you know
Exactly what it looks like

Turn your dreams into reality
And live life
with no regrets

Follow Your Heart

You say come and live with me
if you want to be free who cares
what people think I am all you need
so don't be afraid I promise you,
you can trust me baby
Well and I did feel a connection
from the start just like lightning in
the dark so I can't help but to follow
my heart now my bags are packed
and ready for the my life to paint
a new work of art
You say you think it's time I become
my brand new man and that this year
is the year for a refreshing change
you say you ain't got nothing to lose
baby only great and wonderful things
to gain
And so who cares what people think
my bags are packed and I'm a gonna
follow my heart, I’m a gonna set my spirit
free there just comes a time who you
gotta live what you believe and be who
you are now I'm a gonna follow my heart
why don't you Follow Your Heart now
don't you think it's time to Follow Your
Heart and set yourself free!

When You Follow Your Heart

We might have made love
In the bed of roses: the bed of fragrant flowers
As we consummate the joy of true love: at age sixty
where the pursuit of pleasure: is a taboo subject
where the Irish moss warms our soft lips:

We might have reversed the aging process, because
our bodies become fascinating and seductive: coherently
We might have rattled the monkey cage: like epic lovers growing old
With one thing on our minds: we follow our hearts

Follow Your Heart

We follow roads

That take us so far

We pray and we wish

Upon a bright star

We follow our dreams

And hope for the best

We study and strive

To pass life’s little test’s

I’m committed to one thing

Right from the start

And that is I promise

To follow my heart

The heart really knows

And it never will lie

If you haven’t heard it

Listen and try

Follow it now

To wherever it leads

Trust it believe it

I’m sure you will see

It’s a wonderful challenge

And a great place to start

You won’t be sorry
If you’ll follow your heart

Just Follow Your Heart

Just follow your heart
Do what you say you are going to do
Now is the time to shine
Find your way through
Those seas may be rough
But, you can adjust the sails
Continue to rise up through the air
So you can prevail

Follow Your Heart

In times of despair,
In times of trouble,
When the world's against you,
Just follow your heart.
Your world may be filled with,
Gloom & disappointment,
Threatening voices may surround you,
When you sink deeper & deeper
In darkness,
Just follow your heart.
You may fall,
Stumble a little,
The road ahead may seem
Dark & threatening,
But whatever it might be,
Just follow your heart.
Nobody may come to help you up,
No one will lead you the way,
But whether you may meet someone or not,
Just follow your heart.
When you see the Light ahead and,
The world tingling with energy,
Every step taken,heavenly,
You know you just
Followed your heart.

Follow Your Heart

That knawing feeling deep in your gut, that is telling you something is happeining to you, you feel it also deep in your heart, you can taste it like a soft pillow or a warm blanket that you wrap around yourself to bring you comfort that only you can feel safe.

This new feeling, does it have a name? Probably not, because your afraid to acknowledge it's existence, for fear of deep shame, but let me reassure you, please dont turn away, look at me, the feeling you are experiencing is perfectly O.k.

For your always being told, to follow you heart, it will never lead you wrong, it knows you best, Let Go of the grasp you have on your comfort zone, for falling in love with someone as the same sex, is finally being able to say,"Ive been made Free."

Love is Love, that's all there is to it, you see with your eyes, you fall with your heart, love, respect, honor, that's all that matters when two people love each other, and dont ever let anyone tell you anything different..
