Blended spices mixed and
boiled with chicken and rice,
Best with mutton or prawns,
but tastes good even with
basic fresh vegetables!
Blast of flavoured richness!
Bewitching special treat!

Is pizza a breakfast food? Damn right it is!
It'll soon be on IHOP's menu
They'll have an item called “Pizza Benedict”
Topped with a sweet syrupy goo!
If you haven't tried it, don't go “eeeew”
It'll put hair on your chest for sure
You ladies will need a depilatory cream
For us guys, it'll add some allure
Bacon Temptation Omelette's a favourite
But when served on a pizza crust
It'll be one of IHOP's popular items
Pizza flavoured hash browns are a must
There's no accounting for people's tastes
Elsewhere, they must think we're nuts
Pizza is a real staple where we live
Probably why we have such big guts
Is pizza a breakfast food? Damn right it is!
The yummiest breakfast food going
With bacon and eggs and pizza sauce
My love for this dish is overflowing!

I saw magical faeries.
Tripping in and around
Sparkling wings shining
In the dazzling sunbeams
That transversally filtered
Through the mighty beeches
Of a Bavarian forest.
A royal feast proclaimed.
The mighty Queen arrived.
And took her place on a throne
In a prominent part of the glen.
Sumptuous abundant delicacies
Appeared out of nowhere,
Cheeses and pixie pears,
And saffron flavoured cakes,
Plus, milk laced with honey.
Enchanting lively music
Advanced towards the glen.
Happiness and Felicity
Thrilled the expectant audience.
Soon, darkness fell around,
But innumerable, bright glow worms
Lit up the secluded grassy glen.
Dancing thus began in earnest.
Until they tired out and all returned
To their cosy leaves to dream
About their lovely Fairy Queen.

Opting to feel, rather than think,
sensing energy flow in form,
as a non-doer we receive
hues of bliss flavoured with love’s ink
and as we’re centred in this storm,
soul’s at peace when ego begs leave.
The simple shift from head to heart,
is really all that’s needed
for soul to transmute as God’s light,
causing bliss ignition to start,
that with will to Him conceded,
we see Him clearly in plain sight.
God calls to us, let us respond,
forging with love, a lifelong bond.

One silly tune was running up and down
It couldn’t find the exit from my head
I let it out when I went downtown
To buy some wine and cumin flavoured bread
The tune came back again, this time around
It sounded more complex to my ears
The sun and shades were playing on the ground
The same old pantomime they do for years
I went under the bridge, and watched the boats
Beside my table they were rolling to and fro
Until I recognized the same old notes
It seems that silly tune had found its home
I leaned back on the bridge's stone cold wall
One silly gull just couldn’t stop complaining
Until I couldn’t hear anything at all
I sat there, and of course, it started raining.

Two dazzling dainty darlings,
Delightful flowers on a tree,
Fancy pretence funny role-play,
Sing alluring songs, no worry!
Favourite choice playing house,
Invite friends to flavoured tea,
Decorative cups and pots as well,
Welcoming hosts, amazing to see!
Decked gracefully, embellished hair,
Blushing cheeks, gorgeous smile,
Angelic beauty of innocence,
Oh my, what a captivating style!

My Dove, she flies above it all,
In the face of despair she smiles,
Solving all the problems she can.
My Dove, she has deep chocolate hair,
With fair skin,
And eyes like a maze.
My Dove, so many thoughts unspoken,
One glance her way and I'm weak,
Her brains, her beauty, they make her complete.
My Dove, she adores the small things in life,
Like the birds chorus at dawn,
And the laugh of a child.
My Dove, she smells like vanilla perfume,
Her lip gloss is cherry flavoured,
And her dress is covered with daisies.
My Dove shows love through gifts,
Bracelets, painted glasses,
Anything that can be seen as personal.
My heart melts for my Dove,
She lives in my heart Rent free,
I just wish she would look my way,
Even just once.

Sipping coffee, soul shifts from me to we,
since ceasing thinking, we begin feeling,
one with oneness, as head and heart agree,
savouring this elixir appealing.
Surrendering the taste by us savoured,
to God’s presence pulsating in our heart,
divine entwined, aroma love flavoured,
with each sip we feel bliss ignition start.
Conspiring with God in all that we do,
rapture of each life pulse is amplified,
for there remains in us no egoic glue,
knowing He dwells in cave of heart inside.
Even as senses delight, our clear sight
ensures we cling not to time in its flight.

SIPPING COFFEE
There was a time a few decades ago
Well yes, many more than just a few
And post war rationing we still faced
Finding real ground coffee was tough
At least in homes of the common folk
Just early instant stuff that was a joke
But there was the black bottled stuff
An awful gaudy label as well as taste
As I never got to like it, that was true
Hoping real coffee someday I’d know
Then the sixties with those coffee shops
Weak foamy and milky was all the rage
Italian influenced, and many a new name
And now, even baristas can be well-paid
All the flat white and cappuccino versions
And even flavoured syrup immersions
For me, I really like it full weapons grade
But these modern pod things is a shame
Yet not missed by those of a certain age
But hope the caffeine supply never stops

He's on a health kick,
Running until he's feeling sick.
No alcohol or flavoured vapes,
Sleeping eight hours with closed drapes.
Chopping up veggies with brown rice,
Drinking green smoothies with cubes of ice.
Avoiding French fries and burger meals,
Measuring his blood pressure when he feels.
Chicken is his only meat,
Especially eaten as a treat.
He has decaffeinated tea and coffee,
And natural sweetness in his banoffee.
Enjoying pasta with basil oil,
Some sourdough pieces, quite small.
Swimming daily fifty lengths,
To keep up his body strength.
He's a regular at the gym,
His personal trainer looks up to him.
Because he's on a health kick,
And exercising until he's feeling sick.

How about when stores jack up their prices
Then reduce them and call it a sale
I've been on to these devious practices for years
Their attempt to bamboozle us has failed
Annoying commercials that treat us like morons
As if we're gonna fall for that stuff
Like if you brush with mint flavoured toothpaste
Your sweetie will greet you in the buff
How about optometrists with really bad breath
As they lean over to adjust that eye thing
More than once I nearly passed out in the chair
Need a sign on the door with a warning
Or when you're at a game with the whole family
And a guy gets drunk and obnoxious
Using every cuss word ever known to mankind
You wish you could muzzle this ignoramus
You pay scads of dough for a vacation down south
And it rains every day of your stay
Your condo smells like the back end of a donkey
A most forgettable vacation I'd say
Well I'm sure most people can relate to these
You probably have a bunch of your own
Should be a service called Pet Peeves Anonymous
Or a help line you could contact by phone

Started drinking fruit flavoured water now
Not the tastiest but I'll keep trying, I vow
In the winter months I always seem to gain
Inactivity is the culprit, exercising's a pain
When I walk, it's much more like a waddle
Sure don't resemble a Givenchy model
Gonna keep on trying to recapture my youth
Downed another swig of gin and vermouth
Now everything appears to be quite copacetic
Gin works wonders as an anesthetic
So getting back to the fruit flavoured water
A lot more concerned than this guy oughta
I'm almost eighty-eight so why should I care
Soon I'll be trapped in my big easy chair
Wifey will feed me some ground up mush
Dentures down the toilet gets flushed
But there's a silver lining waiting for me
If I could only get rid of my gimpy old knee
Bottom line is this, sure had a great life
Came up a big winner by a roll of the dice

I have endlessly miss us in past best;
Time has eaten up my distant worry,
Do not grow weary of my silly quest.
You miss it too like how dream's forte arrest,
Eyes blur pictures to fulfilling scurry,
I have endlessly miss us in past best.
We had pretended enough unaddressed:
The worth of experiencing such slurry...
Do not grow weary of my silly quest.
How miles to cover left surrey unrest-
Together lost to splendor in surrey,
I have endlessly miss us in past best.
Be smart and good to doubt our plight's request,
With bounded rational score so burry,
Do not grow weary of my silly quest.
We are but insane to the core contest
That chances flavoured, with watery curry...
I have endlessly miss us in past best,
Do not grow weary of my silly quest.

Goody Goody Gum drops,
It was an expression of delight
When children saw this treat
Their eyes lit up like stars at night
The inventor Murray Taylor
Concocted this ice cream treat
That was bubble gum flavoured ice cream
Filled with gum drops. What a treat.
Over the years, Goody Gumdrops lost its favour,
But the expression Goody Goody Gumdrops
It is an adage of delight for us all to still savour.
