poppies remember spring but do not cry,
their silence glowing soft without fanfare.

white morning smoke —

the fall sunset falls
a golden cross, shattered crown
darkens red and gray
ravens trill to sparrows here
God too in shadow, remain

where the turn is very far

leaves hold to her bleeding heart
a chill that's carried
all the forest remembers
grown up to the sky
the gloom of leaves still remains
though boughs have lost their red cheeks

How Autumn gained his second name?
Now I will,
May the story stick to you like a stain.
Long ago, Autumn was a respected man,
Better, he was a king,
stronger than three elephants,
smarter than a fox,
scary as an ox.
Until a fair maiden named Summer ask to wed,
they shared the city, hand in hand,
"Through life and death" she said.
But Summer had malicious purposes,
She gambled, made bogus deals,
Autumn, was astonished, he realized she wasn't to his appeal,
they had a divorce, his family, the city, was oh so sad.
Later, people stroke back, and Autumn lost everything, everything he had.
The family had fallen, Autumn became ill and passed,
In the afterlife, he was a god. He made sure anyone who stomped on him, he surpassed.
He was cold, he was bright. He would never fall again,
it was a cruel nickname; he hated the stupid nickname.
That's how fall got his other name.
Autumn breezes in bright and bold
regally arrayed in red and gold.
To fall in love is a miracle
Understanding to it is a riddle
Like crossing parallel lines
Symbiotic to each other
It make sense when disturbed
From simple to complex thinking
One good moment is a treasure
Never can erase in a lifetime
Even the man from Mars
Even the man from Venus
Can attract with each other
Like magnet poles opposite
As destiny is fated to meet
While well planned is expected
The right time is unexpected
This is what makes the sun rises
The fresh air envelops the earth
The heart is the center of a man
Love makes the world beautiful.
Fall in love
Done not on purpose
Usually strike in juxtaposition
Awkward situation, unpredictable
Unplanned, yet troublesome joy
There's friction and elation of joltness
Rare blushing to flashing smiles
There's opposition in motion of oneself
Misdirection in walking, unshakable mistrust
Unintentional looking of watch
Drumbeat heart and lovable murmuring.
I've searched and searched
With no success
I've made my whole life
Such a mess.
Don't make the same mistake twice
But you end up doing it and pay the price
You say I'll never do that again
Next thing you know here you are without your friend
But as you dig you see a light
This time may work
I think it might.
Finding love takes a consuming heart
One that quickly heals after being torn apart.
You'll find that love if that's your goal
You'll look in their eyes and and feel love in your soul
A singular tear,
born from the sky's embrace,
trembling at the precipice,
poised for its descent.
Surrender to the unknown,
an acceptance of gravity’s pull.
The raindrop embraces the fall,
a fleeting dance with the earth.
Tiny whispers gather,
and a chorus of drops united.
Forming a river is a testament
to the power of surrendering.
Lost in the flow,
the individual raindrop disappears,
but within that surrender,
it finds a new identity.
It becomes a force,
shaping the world around it,
carving canyons, feeding the earth,
a testament to transformation.
Like the raindrop that
finds its purpose in the river,
we too find our strength in letting go,
embracing the unknown,
and trusting the flow of existence.
his dad is in love again
I have never loved a woman like this he told Matt
You have to come for Christmas! She wants to meet you!
Matt could not refuse his dad, so here he sits
Watching his Dad falling in love with his probably eighth wife
They are oblivious to him
It is all about them
Same scenario
Same dad
Same disappointed son
several neighbors are watching
young innocents fall in love in a garden
remembering their own romantic stories
with deep sighs,
trying to capture the feelings
many had lost long ago
