I am human with the same dignity and power,
then why treat me like an alien?
Our skincolour differs, but we are all created and designed by one God and maker.

I have great potentials just like the white man,
But I am treated and rejected just because of my colour.
I undergo physical, emotional and social discrimination and suppression,

Writing this poem in an awful plight,
I wonder when mr.nigeria would be safe and secure.
Everyone running helter-skelter,

Human values and hopes are dead
Trampled and discarded religions
Disgusting psychology thrives on life - there
Alcohol and medicine are the life here -, it’s psychological

Created by celebrated world professors
Success, money, and career are on their side
Suffering, depression, and pain in my side
Hopelessness and abandonment on our side…

reeling us in by our souls

Vroom! The loudest noise echoes the night
Construction starts.
The night is shaken by booms and bangs
Of trucks, of heavy machines!
To have a road, a smoother wider road
