Erosion Poems

Premium MemberALREADY GONE

We did not notice at first—
the small rebellions of memory:
a forgotten kettle on the stove,
the absurd claim that Tuesday had vanished,
names reshuffled as if in a deck too often played.

The mind does not fall—it recedes,
a shoreline eroded not by storms
but by silent, persistent tides.
Each day an abrasive grain,
each night a hush over once-luminous thought.

She remained

When We Lose Our Voice or Imagine Being Surrounded By Singing Trees

There are many times,
When we are stuck,
Like when a player exclaims, “Checkmate!”,
And our king falls, as it is struck.

At that point,
The game is lost,
It is over,
Despite how we were flossed.

There are also moments,
When we need to perform it right,
There’s only one chance,
To match time and heart’s delight.

One of those occasions,
Might be to propose,
At

Fallen Empires

Ambient breeze
Caressing dead erroded figures
Gently hewn impressions jest knowingly
Laughing madly now only pitied
Quieted remaing stagnant
Tired useless vessles °
Weathered xylography
Yesterday's zeitgeist

erosion

while i was passing by
in aisle five
i overheard
“get help”
she happened to glance at me
and by 6:03
i happened to think
what if she said
“get well”
and i don’t know who
and i wasn’t there
but i know
when i’ve heard it before
if it wasn’t condescendingly
had one pound of empathy
i would’ve been
more likely

we all have days

Premium MemberStorms in Silent Corners

A jolt of trembling steel—
a crack that doesn’t shatter,
but ripples,
sending storms into every silent corner.
Cries fold in on themselves,
tight, suffocating strands,
all tangled too deep to get air.

This is the weight of love unreturned:
a death that breathes,
a life that drifts—
distilled by sorrow so pure
it makes its escape past the body’s treachery,
wetting the memory of the quiet

shadow of intent

ill never get used to
the numbness that tinges away at everything
every movement
a rusted nusiance
as if the words that make up my reality are too much to bear
there are no creaks
or technical things to tweak
because i am still
unfortunately, a biomechanical thing
instead there are aches
pains
issues that, like the rain
always streaming down my face
struggles to catch

Comfortable Erosion

I feel myself trapped in an endless repetition

Effortless to rationalize each day away
But the sleepless nights bring clarity
A hazy clearness in a cold dark room
The four walls that comfort me most

I imagine they could close in upon me
But a day is easy to pass through
Time that once was so sacred now in

"Betrayal begins with trust" - Quote by Phish

Here's the story of a married couple...
They had the world on a string,
              The blueprint to erect
 A lasting foundation of togetherness.

The Last Grave

As centuries pass
The seas advance
To take away the land.
Lost to the waves
The ancient graves
Reside below the sand.

Cliffs that crumble
Remains lay humble
Eroded by the brine.
The final tomb
To meet the spume
Clings to the shoreline.

Premium MemberPainted Desert

Hiking along the canyon wall
It’s hard to take it in at all
Reaching so tall, for the sky
Looming there, majestic and grand
And yet a castle made of sand
So oddly planned, wonder why

Some time in eons past, it split,
Beginning as a narrow slit
Widening, lit just at noon
Time is patient and undeterred
Wind and rain are the tools preferred
The

That is nature, needs no undue fuss
But let it be by things we choose to do
And not by things unwilling done to us

Living things-man,animals,trees...
Non-living things-sea ,sky,mountains...
But now the world looks different
Some life movements
Start brooding and murmuring
Here comes the strongest hurricane
Growing wild
Here comes the disastrous earthquake
Spreading broad
Here comes the sudden mountain erosion
Tumbling down
Millions died
At this very special moment
All sleeping become awake
All awake go to sleep
Is the nature or God angry with us
The betraying man
The cruel and

Since the wild sweep of the waves
Of Tsunami
It will be a long long time
Before the pebbles shine again
Let the moss gathered, they said
Let the sun's heat gathered, they said
Let the wind's erosion gathered, they said
It will be a long long time
Before the picnickers come
To pick them up
Amongst the shore
At the tips of the

I've spent eight years facing something I couldn't understand. The more I tried to explain it to friends, family and doctors, the more people thought I was imagining things. Or the more I got misdiagnosed. It took seven years with worsening severity before someone realized the spells I was going through... first months apart, then

The signs are everywhere
That this is how it ends
It’s time to find time now
To make our amends

Let’s start with each other
Here where we lay
For embraces we held back
And words we din’t say

I have known triumph
And I’ve known heartbreak
I’ve learned the path that you walk
Is the one that
