Pity, we’re not on their endangered species list;
Just the list of who should be least cared about:-
They fight for red wolves,
but still erode ebon lives;
we’re endangered too:-
What an abomination,
In our nation,
In today’s situation:-
For our lives to matter,
Time for us to gather,
And get it all together:
Pandemic is the Oppressor Syndrome;
We, oppressively murdering our own:-
Let us be aware,
We’ve come too far
To turn back now:
Our immunity is waiting:-
Our ancestors’ labor,
Built this found nation;
This is our home to save
And make it a land of equality,
For others treated like you & me:-

The night's ebon before sunrise,
In stillness, the stars lie awake,
New moon is hidden, black sky sighs,
Who will terminate this dark ache?
Crystal twinkles wink and partake
in Aurora's sparkling surprise,
A cock crows thrice, the Lord will break
the night's ebon before sunrise,
Nothing escapes the Maker's eyes,
He knows night's anguish and will shake
her dull stupor, placate her cries;
In stillness, the stars lie awake,
Time, nocturnal gloom, to forsake,
The heavenly bodies devise
a silent spell until daybreak -
New moon is hidden, black sky sighs,
This nightly daze is a disguise
to hide that cavernous mistake
of heeding her tenebrous lies,
Who will terminate this dark ache?
The sun steps in for sad night's sake,
Glows gold in the glorious skies,
Brightens the day, ends her heartache,
Thus, the dazzling dawn of hope dyes
the night's ebon.

Yes, God originally blessed me with three;
Indeed, blessing me with a physical trinity.
Now He has extendedly blessed me with one
more;
My precious gift of ebon sisters now rises to
four.

Shanty Town
The sun goes down on Shanty Town
And drags all light away
And not one moonbeam touches ground
Though numerous are they.
Not even do the eyes of owls
Pervade the ebon plight
Where air is foul, where stray dogs howl,
And babes cry through the night.

Tis ere that time
when shadows growing long beckon
stay
tarry awhile
run and play
Hasten not from the cool breezes
nor from the waking chorus of those
who would stir in the ebon hours
singing to thee
stay
tarry awhile
run and play.

Poetically sees…
an ebon eventide with cascading vapors ascending,
gaping over shores of ripples that thirst for redemption-
mounts with founts that peak with utmost desire,
reaching altitudes that make constellations cry.
He stands on a lone rock with ease;
for he is safeguarded-
And he poetically sees his reflection in the reverie,
ceasing his verses of dark syllables; shading the night-
he wishes his bones weren’t too brittle for healing,
yet he knows only a muse that a true gift can bestow.
“Ivory stardust falling upon pebbles of shackled stone,
darkness seeps into skyline wearing fear of the unknown.
Silent stars listen as they shine with a black undertone,
for there are shadows of grey silk reaching heights alone. “

Ebon night is seeping away,
like spilled ink slips on satin.
Curling its toes, yawning wide
and ready for bed and sleep.

fragile b r e a k of dawn ascends,
crickets fall asleep,
the sun beams in morn’s glory.
heartbreak calls me,
for I am awakened by its lamented
marvel-
no time to rest when loneliness
runs through your veins.
sightless eyes peek through the sill
and yet, I am forever seeking more
than life offers.
for I am but a resounding aria of
t e m p e r a m e n t a l mania,
encompassed by a turbulent existence
of lapses in judgement.
silhouetted etchings of love lost
resound in raging r e m o r s e,
a temperament I cannot control-
forever descending into forsaken lonely memories.
harsh break of eventide ascends,
crickets awaken to moonlit stars-
I hear the weeping of willows
m o u r n i n g their broken branches…
and I drown in the ebon sky

ebon d a r k n e s s fills my sleep
and black
are the corridors in my mind
like veins of need searching for a passage
I am lost in a sea of doors
and find myself at a decaying (one)
velvet hair f l o a t i n g
like threads seeking an opening
I gaze at the door's scars
like a road map of VEINS all tangled webbed
it stands
like the journey of my ravaged
and twisted i n k y path
beyond this door- is that the sad story of me (?)
MUST abandon all fear and throw open this door
I can hear the obsidian voices
c o m e is their dark whisper . . .
slowly I step through and then I am f a l l i n g
into pitch black
screaming . . .

In the darkened ebon night,
I shall not fret, nor feel fright-
for it is a metaphor for depth,
passion for the devoid of light.
I find in each blackened emotion,
there’s sincerity in devotion-
so in each breath that I take,
may there be a peaceful notion.
Abstract moments have perfection,
leading to an ebon connection-
ease my pain and calm my fear,
may this ebon night bring resurrection.
