A shadow of her former self,
she slowly wastes away.
Her time here only known by Him:
in months, or weeks, or days?
Again, I fear I lack the strength
to stand firm at her side.
Then come in waves, disgust and shame,
to be so weak inside.
In angst she cries, I in remorse,
for peace and to endure,
our doubts, discomforts ebb away,
replaced by something pure.
And not just something, but someone
the schemer ne’er enticed;
weak though we cling, He holds us tight:
our God, our Lord, our Christ.
vibrant emptiness, a bliss hum
soundless thunder, the cosmic drum
as magnetic pulsations rise
rapture unbound is the outcome
as thoughts ebb away, ego dies
dead leaves fall, we watch in surprise
though no one comes and no one goes
each breath intake feels like sunrise
Ignorance, desire and action,
gives our wayward ego traction,
causing us to struggle and strive,
to find joy and satisfaction.
Our endeavour’s to stay alive,
means any, we try to survive,
refusing to slow down thought flow,
dwelling not in our heart’s bliss hive.
Who in truth we are, we don’t know,
yet allow ignorance to grow,
which then births suffering and pain,
piling up debts of love we owe.
In arid lands, we pray for rain,
seeking outcomes becomes the chain
we wear, floundering like the blind,
reborn here again and again.
Wherever we have wined and dined,
is a memory left behind
and as all echoes ebb away,
we are to our dark fate resigned.
To find bliss that does always stay,
meld head with heart, sit down and pray,
that as polarities unite,
clear light dawns and life becomes play.
When we see we are living light,
we yield to God, give up the fight
and in doing so, we then rise,
heart pure like snow, our aura white.
see the sun arise
see the night turn to day
see the sky turn to blue
feel the cold ebb away
feel the love unfold
feel the compassion...grow
Avalanching in this benighted place.
Hollow noise like the roar of an angry bull.
Emotionally desolate, importune of answers.
Feeling castigated, in bleak. Veer not from me oh dear God.
Embedded in avalanche.
I bellow for luminosity.
Seeking comfort in coldness
Heart shattered, sighs echoing. Forgive me for my sins oh dear God.
Broached in a new world of wretchedness I never knew existed.
My visage turning into the seven seas.
Far offshore
As I ebb away with the tides. I fix my eyes onto you oh dear God.
A silent prayer,
Cloak my tribulations.
Let there be oblivion.
And this gloom a phase. Make me whole again oh dear God.
Gestation period
A grotesque routine
Queasiness
Excruciating. Give me strength oh dear God.
Avalanching in this benighted place.
Feeling castigated, in bleak.
Importune of answers.
Why me? Hear my cry oh dear God.
Seeds planted take time to grow,
so it’s best we take life slow,
that our heart lotus may bloom,
feeling bliss magnetism zoom.
There’s nothing we need to do,
save letting bliss beats renew,
mindful of thought, word and deed,
pulse of love, our sturdy steed.
What happens is simply this:
our form becomes drenched in bliss;
fears and desires ebb away,
we see the truth, clear as day.
She hated men
Hated everything about them
Bordering on the pathological
Hated the way they touched her
Hated the way they used her
She even hated taking their dirty money
She did like killing them though
Watching their power slowly ebb away
It was the ultimate org*sm
Definitely so much better than sex
She didn’t like the spurters
Underwear was so damn expensive
But she was beginning to perfect her technique
Directing the flow away from her
Learned strangely enough from a surgeon
He would have been proud of her
It was her breasts that caught his eye
The rest his imagination took care of
He had never done it blindfold before
It sure felt so sensual
God, he could feel the explosion building up inside him
She directed the open razor with total precision
Marvelling as his body went into spasm
God, the org*sm was out of this world
Definitely so much better than sex.
First love never dies away
Just slowly calms to cool
Yet for me loving you has been
A constant, I’m a fool.
Loving you can hurt so much
It’s painful and confusing
And honestly I don’t know how
To stop my heart from bruising
I told you that I loved you
Too many years ago
I thought the love would ebb away
Instead it proves to grow.
Seeing you again was such
A trigger to my heart
I cannot stop from loving you
Yet still we are apart.
empowered by memory
narrative built by mind
seeks to connect the dots
that feeling of continuity
sculpts our uniqueness
affirmation of our identity
within a bubble of limitation
creates body identification
plunging us in deep trance
held captive by attachment
as felt in moments of silence
we know there’s more to us
but now hemmed in by desire
we are fearful of the unknown
that beckons us from beyond
trauma bonding with illusion
we’re accustomed to delusion
so we indulge to the fullest
but lasting joy remains elusive
it’s then that we turn inwards
slowing down flow of thought
by witnessing in nonchalance
we negate ownership to waves
that rise and fall in awareness
in timeless time they ebb away
thoughts recede identity fades
awareness self aware remains
humming silently bliss enlivened
three fold flame in heart glows
mind-body, soul, spirit entwined
there’s nothing here to be done
beholding duality in singularity
dance of polarities orbiting love
game of separation and union
one becoming two and two one

Soft,
gentle
soul tremor
steers attention
inwards to our heart,
beseeching we entwine
both our body and our mind
with the throb of bliss pulsating
at our core, akin to our heartbeat,
being rapture that does not ebb away.
Bliss in permanence is fact not fiction;
God's current always tingling within,
which is cognised when we are still,
having rested thought flow din,
whereupon the bliss flame
reveals it's fragrance,
transforming us
to become
living
light.

INTO THE NIGHT
an undertow
to hide
& ebb away or conceal
enclosed
stands absolute
in the light of day
has
taken its toll
so cannot sustain
&so shall go
its quest to share
to defend
with consuming fire
&
let unfold
who will subscribe
& console
a virtue lost
on
the way
nay
all
must share
THIS IS AN OPEN(organic) FORM VERSE without grammatical symbols the ' open' relies upon 'the one breath limitation' & so inherently requires the 'reader' (reciter) to input and respond thus making the form a two way interplay and often a unique interpretation by the enigma so derived
Brahma at root, holds still divine energy
We feel incomplete in the lull
Shakti’s coiled there, awaiting synergy
Whilst Shiva’s abode is the skull
On this truth, oh lama, mull
Fears and desires block the joy conduit
Ego borne delusion
Divine Mother rests until soul chooses to reboot
So we’re in deep confusion
Until head and heart fusion
Upon shifting to thought rested silence
Ego spawned fears ebb away
Essence of presence rekindles flame of innocence
Divine love and light sun ray
Radiating bliss that’s here to stay

Plateau after peak, double checks ego
Does our childlike trust seem to ebb away
Why is the glow of our heart not mellow
Plateau after peak, double checks ego
What desires self-block pristine stillness slow
Be wary, oh hermit; attention sways
Plateau after peak, double checks ego
Does our childlike trust seem to ebb away

A
ripple
expanding,
yet the centre
motionless, so still,
unaffected by storms,
which will ebb away in time,
whereupon the centre merges
with the rippleless, calm, tranquil lake,
leaving behind no trace of what happened.
We may thus, never take the same breath twice,
that that manifests, soon fades away,
all seems same, yet the void flickers,
changing colour by tremor,
taking in the effect,
of the causation,
of pure intent,
thus seeping
within
us.

He has left the world.
A half-made bed creaks still.
A life left elsewhere,
not here in this blue rat-tailed viewing.
Display the cold hands,
the musty suit newly buttoned.
Teeth wedged tightly
inside a cosmetology mask.
Earwax continues.
A smile sheens on formaldehyde lips.
Outside, a spasmodic rain quivers.
Never before has he been this ready.
His pockets bulge still with balled-up notes
a linty jot and tittle left unsung.
Damp mourners ebb away
dabbing milk-less eyes.
A soft hat sags from a paint-chipped hook
dripping like a nose.
Half-washed dishes are his legacy.
Close the door quietly least they rattle.
