LIFE OF A POSTMAN

Starts with the morning rise
Breakfast to energize
Head straight to the Post Office
The day begins with sorting the mail
Daily without fail
Preparing to deliver
The creed being neither rain, snow nor sleet
A Postman documentation to keep
No matter what, the mail is always a proceed
Eyes on residence and business
Everyday being the postman’s witness
Mailbox leverage
Mail and packages
Delivery precise
Chased by dogs
Working even in outdoor fog
Day in and out
Deliver mail until done
This is the Postman sound
Back to the Post Office bound
Days end
Same routine the next day once again.

Fossils and Dinosaurs roamed the Earth
Kings of their world
A world unknown
Life extraordinary
Museums with artifacts to show
Civilization of another kind
No cities, towns nor humans to be found
Vast land and trees
High Mountains
Time pages with documentation
Plenty of mysteries
Centuries old
The thought of behold
Look back at a find
Explorations
Theories of possibilities
Statistics showing realities
A world of its own
Scientific approaches
Species understanding formation
History’s beginning leading to destruction
A world no more
Civilization end
Evolution blend.

HEAVEN’S EXECUTIVE ORDER

Divined Praying Decree
Be honest and Sincere
Be devoted and show no fear
Try the sweetness like a pear
True King in Heaven
Biblical words Documentation
Spiritual growth information
Encourage and Love one another
Symbolic Holy words
Bow down is a King risen
Come all poor and rich
Turn from Evil into good
Change Hate into Love
It’s heaven’s request from above
Keep Faith in your heart
That’s where Christianity starts
Worry not
Pray more

Accordance is the Lord’s score
One Title One Lord
Several names the risen king
Eat good of my land by believing
Speak and listen to the spoken words
Hear, Grow and Learn
Heaven and Earth
A Guarantee
A Reality
Salvation is a devoted oath
Today, Tomorrow and Everlasting
I sit high and look below
Seek and you shall find
The Almighty who is Merciful and Kind

It was sort of a
Wagon train read
Long, torturous, 
A seemingly endless quest
For an unknown destination
Pictured only in the minds
Of others
Who
Sadly
Were only aggrandizing
What they were told.
The book I read
Had been chosen for me
By a deranged
English teacher/football coach
Before the era of the
Concussion Protocol.

The Book Report I wrote
Received an “A”
I believe because
I trashed the book
Question why it was assigned
As it was a tedious read
Containing statistical
As well as anecdotal
Documentation
Of its unreadability
Or more likely because
He was hung over
After the football team
Beat our traditional rival.

I walked the winding way down your memories.
We live in the age of perpetual documentation - 
a blessing for the socially inept.
Every abstract gives insight,
but I crave the full portrait,
you in your every shade and hue.
I wish to know you better than breathing,
but I fail even to take notice of where the edges of my posters line up.
And I put them there.
What a shame, what a shame, what a shame.
When will I grow good at being a person?
How could I ever fill in the yawning cracks?
Anhedonia warps my mind and my memories,
but something remembered shines through - 
thoughts of those dear to me,
occupying me from dawn to the witching hour.
At last, rays light the gray horizon.
Maybe I’ve a reason after all.

Pass the Trash

PASS THE TRASH

Poem sure to sound familiar,
Catholic church scandal recall.
Pedophiles bounced just everywhere,
predator list … kept  growing tall.

Clergy, priest but now teachers, are
problematic in school classes!
“Passing the Trash” school’s call this, some
schools blind … wear rose colored glasses?

“Pass Trash” numbers are sicking,
News mentioning five principals,
three assistants, two hundred and
ninety teachers … unthinkable!

Abusers hide in school systems,
best you check, your community.
Parents advised to document,
what child tells you … or what you see.

Documentation need, check see
something matches accusations.
Be diligent, keep abusers
away from our daughters … and sons.

In Plain Sight

The hood is foregone.
Into the past, of fired crucifixes upon front lawns.
   The day has begun, a new dawn.
Bare faced, in the sun's illumination.
   Guised within the roles that make a nation.
Spread throughout vital occupations.
   Where darkened communities suffer from the
bleached cohorts occupation.
   From tainted patrols roaming free on the range
with no scrutiny.
   To deliver captives to like minded counselors 
and judiciary.
   As aesculapian institutions dispense succor to
the most monetary.
   In conjunction with polity, where signed documentation
continues urban poverty.
   Strengthened by miseducation from chameleon educators,
educated with an educational degree.
   Conjoined in unity of conspiracy, waltzing through the
capital of democracy.
   The confederates state their supremacy optically.
It is time for the rolling back of sleeves, to fight
the good fight with bravery.
   Steadfast, and observe closely.
For the greatest trick the devil ever pulled, as evil stands
before you and me.

Lost Report Card Down the Sewer Drain--

As a child I was walking home from school one day;
It was a rainy spray;
A direly day;
We have gotten our report cards;
As kids we were running home;
In and out up and down;
Crossing the streets;
At the corners peak;
Running hard and fast;
Trying not to get wet;
Out of my pocket fell my report card;
I'm crying because I dropped ....... 
Down a storm drain, gone forever;
Are the written documentation of my first A's and B's;
Report card;
That fell out my pocket
In the rain
fallen lost wet  down inside the storm drain;

A simple girl
But not really
Big ideas
Called silly

Lost in books
Survived by song
Modest looks
Childhood gone

A yellow star
Always, worn
To prove the scar
Jewish born

Her head, high
Her family frowned

The day came
When everything
She ever knew

*Readers should keep in mind Trump's greatest 
success has been focusing the world's attention 
on a Vanity Wall, whilst "All the President's Men"
enter vacant federal building and offices to 
plant/alter/remove "evidence" and documentation!

Agile

No mention of benefits your efforts will bring,
No sign of a business case these should be in,
No overall strategy roadmap or plan, 
no timeline or gant chart with a product life-span.
No formal test process and no UAT, 
With no business input and SME free,
With a host of stakeholders drawn straight out of college,
With very little experience and even less knowledge.
Constantly playing to management vanity,
Creating a model that defines insanity,
Repeatedly following those several flawed steps,
But somehow expecting much better effects?
The lack of a leader and co-ordination,
A media blackout with no communication,
Experience of colleagues continually spurned,
And there’s no documentation and no lessons are learned.
Expectations are raised and the business have hopes,
But they’re soon to be dashed as these things are de-scoped,
And if you should challenge this deployment style,
They’ll just tell you you’re negative and that we’re working ‘agile’.
