Is there something in the water or air
that's spreading stupidity everywhere?

Children aren't learning their lessons in school,
vying to be the latest TikTok fool.

As a whole, society's devolving:
a worldwide problem, in need of solving.

It seems everyone is glued to their phones:

The internet has morphed into a cage,

Tropical summer
a somnolent pond daydreams
in spite of the storm

Tropical bummer

Encroachments at its best
Why are we waiting
When even the mayor
Wont stop complaining
National guard called
A state of emergency
An entire city is walled
Are all

Devolving . . . ?

I remember the days not so very long ago
When a man was a man above his own ego
When trouble arose he would come a running
Like a knight in armour he'd drop his hunting

The damsel he would rescue, the fiends he would clobber
Make no subconscious mistake he was like no other
Toiling day and night for his
