In Absentia

She hears herself
in the distance
confess to undying love.
So out of touch
with loyal love to self.

The unholy ghost of him
demystified in mid-urn.
He is neither near, nor far.
No grave in which to turn
in rage, even if he could.

So much was left behind
in dust to dust return to earth,
White lies, black lies
to grey ashes burnt.

The Love Demon left
a twisting paper trail
behind
his telling tales...
As he took leave for good
of all his human senses,
Truth time travels out of reach.

A senseless sough
of dying sounds
wreaths potpourri
memoirs of thoughts
that linger around...
Scented and impure.

Neither here nor there,
he left her at once.
Bloody sighs cut off words
reverse from throat -
backed out into a world
that didn't care.

And still she wonders why
she has to remember
the good times.
In silence.

And in the loud sounds
of betrayal,
She silently cries...
Again.

D Poem

This damned domain of dominoes destined to fall
This doddering diatribe deliberately designed
This dwelling damp as deadwintered Darlington
This deeper dream of dungeons and dragons

This desperate dirge of dying deliberations
This drum droll as December’s daylight done
This decorated delightful deck of diamonds
This driven date that doomsday deselected

This dotted, dashed diary of dark desperation
This demystified danger we dryly decompress
This dead, defunct day that drew disgust
This damned domain of dominoes all fallen down.

bemusement
      mismatched
     in a backward glance
the worst if times
     demystified
          in transition
        s focal point
magnified in spritual images

perceptions of sincerity
     of
        freewheeling precepts
uniquely
       connected
then
    apopriated
in
   glimpses of the beyond
once conflicted
       now
           embraced

Grind you down touchdown
Earth bound but for a moment
Pieces found a puzzle gleaming back at you

Tried but true, a burned cliché
All substance broken
Father of the lies stares back at you

Demystified a self, composed yet shatter blasted
Strength defies those passive aggressive
All chatter clowning with your matter

Dressed again, a classic story repetition
What you wear (don’t stare) defines your purpose
Being of a wonder wheel rotation

Settle in – begin, a puzzle huge
Temptation drew you down
Solution present pending you

Inscape

The night sky that bade us bye
as the morning hue demystified;
that the stars had an hallucinating effect
eyes dilating to the heart's affect.

And now it beats and beats
like a babbling brook
like the rustling dunes
like the glistening chocolate mountains.

It feels so much and yet naught
it sees so much, all sought!
It breathes so much, breathless
senses, senseless...

And now the heart pounds
and now I shut my eyes
little drops, rainbow like
metamorphosed into a
beauty glistening down.

All In the Legs

ALL IN THE LEGS
Everything about Ekema was normal
Slim, Slender and Simple nothing special
But there was something about her motion limbs
They call it hot legs.

She wasn’t the fairest of ten thousand
Couldn’t be classed as beauty or brains
But something always kept her on top of her game
They call it long legs

Don’t get it twisted, she's nice and decent
She kept on roasting amidst a lot of toasting
Despite all the pressures to stand to the challenge
She always sat with closed legs

But things are no longer the same
she now walks demystified without honour
it all came crumbling down that wild night
when she was caught with opened legs

You Whisper Softly To Me

You whisper softly to me
and I enchanted, respond to be
You whisper me from a distance
and I reply demure in silence
You whisper softly to me as your hazel eyes
sing, revealing unsung tributaries, dreams and realities
Your inviting lips lusciously unfurl with savory tales
You listen to me and I am demystified
Your face a vacuum- formula that initiates my creativity
You whisper softly to me
And I am left speechless, resuscitated and quenched simultaneously
You whisper softly to me
And I am stilled in suspensions of grace
You whisper from a distance
And I am captivated as you appear dedicated
Your sway whispers sensually
And I am forced to redefine, explore and reexamine the definition of beauty
You whisper softly
And I can only imagine what it’ll be like, having you in my arms forever.

The Search Is On

Are you the one, the bride I try to find?
Still haven't met you, how can I make up my mind?
How am I to know? How am I to decide?
Waiting for the questions to get demystified
I know that I am patient; I know that I can wait
Not for ever though, it doesn't work out like that
I am sure it'll help me find some answers if we go out on a date.
