Dazzled Poems

Premium Memberhe dazzled my eyes out

I had heard of cute clowns, but this was ridiculous.
Mom said, “prepare me to dazzle your eyes out.”
I had laughed, thinking she was exaggerating.
Then he walked in, and he was the epitome of cute.

Ringlets of soft caramel hair framed a darling face.
He was not garish or cheap like other clowns.
He was refined, handsome, respectably adorable.
I said. “You dazzled my eyes out” and she smiled.

Things are really hard to believe
At this age, this way we misconceive
This path we travel
Sometimes unravels
And our mind gets all razzle dazzled

Dazzled by the beauty of this earth ?
Unable to spend more then your worth?
Trust in the providence of God and
You will see, you can live duty free

Free from poverty as you
Regain your strength in nature;
Elastase moments of grace are here so
Elect to spend an hour in God's free space

Dazzled

Dazzled by the church this christmas time again,
So many services on TV, reverends saying when,
So many cards imaging the baby, angels, sheep,
Who were supposedly under god’s control, creep.

Pastors reading the bible to me, the sacred nativity,
Invites to carol services in the mail for connectivity,
Memories of protracted christmas eve meetings,
Where the gospel was also preached for musings.

But Father Christmas looms with love and cheer,
For everyone, every race, any nation of any gear;
And your diversity, if you’re a child, is respected,
By that adviser of gift choice, your one’s selected.

Dazzled

Our love.
A rhapsody,
Pinwheel of magic....
Your golden horned, soft laughter
    Spinning
         Prancing
               Turning,
       Sliding
Into my world of candy dreams!
Dazzled,
My heart sighs for you!
My love a rhapsodizing imbalance!

Dazzled

Ms Jo Hanley-Dunne, Ms Jo Hanley-Dunne,
varnished and tarnished by Val d’Isere sun.
The sway of your hips, the power to stun
brings promise of love and nights filled with fun.

Oh dazzle me, Goddess, you Queen of the Slopes;
a Mistress of Moguls, oh show me the ropes.
You’re someone who’s keen and someone who copes;
you fill me with lust, you stimulate hopes.

I know that you cook with consummate ease;
I know that you dive, alone, if you please.
Your place in the sun is large, Portuguese,
and far from your yacht, you wind-surf the breeze.

So join me, dear Venus, off piste, on a run,
then tell me, my love, your heart, have I won?
Oh! Rapturous joy. My courtship is done.
I’m going to live with Ms Jo Hanley-Dunne.

So Dazzled By Truth

The whole truth and nothing but the truth...

Aren't they gone as quickly as seasons? They were the glorious days of ardent youth,
when I loved the fairest girl and sang, " Yesterday. " Then Irene bought me a flute.

Everything I own today, I've built with patience and deligence with no rules to obey;
and may I say how proud this accomplishment makes me to have done it , " My Way ?"

I've a flair with words and I write about love as Dante, Shakespeare and Keats did: that's why I am always dreaming and listening to " Love Is A Many Splendored Thing."

Razzle Dazzled

I want I want I want you
But I want him too
what am I supposed do?
We are now a happy couple
But I can't help seeing double
cause he has a strange hold me
and I can't just let things go
not even when i'm with you
I'm so razzle Dazzled
it's not fair at all
You give me all kinds of feelings
but he gives me butterflies
and I want him all the time
It's so not fair to you
I want you
I wanna be that girl that falls so hard
she falls so hard for her man
that she doesn't won't anyone else
But i'm not like that at all
I'm so mixed up inside
I don't know what to do
and it's not just him that I'm pining for
I guess it's just that I don't wanna be on lock down
yet I need something more than being single
I'm so razzle Dazzled
I don't know which way I want to go
All I know is that i'm confused
