Premium Member The Green Fields of Leisure World

Hear the tale of the green fields where I roam,
Leisure World, the place that I call home.
If you take strolls (a healthy habit),
at dawn or dusk, you'll see a rabbit.
(If you were faster, you could grab it)
You'll see four-legged, curly-haired cuties
who lead their pets while they do their duties,
and grey-brown squirrels on their haunches
meticulously chewing their lunches.
If your garden was ruined by a snail,
I ask, are you reading my mail?
See the colorful apples of my eyes -
hummingbirds and monarch butterflies.
But what I'd like to see most (pardon my sharin'),
is a coyote or a great white heron.

I am now a butterfly

As she drinks nectar from a flower, sweetness from heaven falls like dew
anointed with a gentle rain amidst sun showers she appears as if on cue

Lifting her wings she lands on a Zinnia beneath a tinted sky of April blue
flight of fancy fanning fast, fabulous marvel, she is beauty true on true

Pheromones fill the air as the males call the females to their abode
their abdomens linked tail-to-tail, and on the damsels' eggs the male seed are sowed

From thereon, dull caterpillars slowly transformed into exquisite beauties
then, to a new hope, many newborns flew, making gardens filled with cuties

She then whispered that before brightness, there was a very dark darkness~
so don’t give up on your life just because your present swims in starkness

"Learn from my life cycle," she further said, "beauties that once were can still be
so your belief in sunshine after this raging storm is paramount and key"

From then on, she became me, and I became her, and hope of a better tomorrow fills me
far from me, fear then fled—I face my problems with glee, from hopelessness my life is free

Since I Was Eight

A lot has changed since I was eight.
My brain gained a bit of weight,
Dance went from a hobby to a skill.
Grandma went from writing notes to her will.
Losing stuff went from teeth to pounds.
My dog went from a puppy to a hound.
Boys went from cooties to cuties.
Money went from tokens to toonies.
Height went from short to tall.
Insecurities went from one wall to a whole hall.
Yet the part that changed the most,
Wasn’t my hight my looks or even my growth.
It’s the way I care.
The way people stare.
The way people talk.
The way people walk.
People went from smiles to death glares.
From jokes to dares.
From runners to heels.
Yet I still don’t get the appeal.

The Venice door

That's the Venice door showered with beauty!
Where loneliness is daily on duty,
By its side, a small pool just sailed two boats,
The occupants are most probably ghosts,
If they're humans, they must be real cuties.

First I saw of this was in Djibouti,
But that was left decrepit and sooty,
So, for elegance that beauty denotes;
That's the Venice door!

The decorations are made quite pretty,
It's like from a last century movie,
Flowers even near the pool that boat floats,
It's the clean surrounding that makes wealth gloats,
Stamps of opulence colors it pretty,
That's the Venice door!

A BEATY IN A BEAUTY

I could hear her beauty,
The music was just a noise,
The sparks in her eyes aroused my pity,
Denying her my touch could be a curse,

The roundness on her chest is the cause,
Under her black dress was the dance of her titty,
They're full on her chest as if they're 'bout to burst,
No! I rather turn them to my prettiest cuties.

The sexiness of her lips nearly stopped my pulse,
She's just too sexy to walk lonely round the city,
Tho', I know she needs lots of doughs in her purse,
Before her love can be in my kitty.

I don't mind! Her smile is just too pretty,
Her skin also glows and my palms can be its nurse,
Hope my feel of her freshness will not be gritty.
Oh! I'm already dreaming that she's in my house.

Then the music that came on was beaty,
Then I woke up to feel her absence across,
So, love has left me with loneliness to sign a new treaty,
Afterall, I woke up from this sweet dream to still carry my own cross.

Premium Member Rudy and His Cuties

I know a comedian named Rudy
Had a gaggle of fans he called 'Cuties'
    New jokes his Cuties offend
    Which Rudy never intends
So Rudy hawks crosses in Djibouti

Premium Member Cuties Chilled

chicago cuties
tangerine days of summer
when noon redbird sings

cool burst of sunshine
from the fridge of hot august
its dream turned to dust

flowers are flaunting
crisp tomorrows coming soon
orange sunset moon

Premium Member Foxglove Faeries

Foxglove faeries flitting freely,
tiny little ethereal sweeties;
picking blossoms to make hats,
faerie boys make themselves spats.

Mice, moths and butterflies,
are there strictly to apprise,
they're tiny judges of latest styles,
those faerie designs are really wild!

Among the flowers faeries flutter,
flying smoothly as hot butter;
wispy wings transparent be,
lovelier than the dogwood trees.

Fading blossoms made into clothes,
are fitting for the likes of those;
elementals craft some lovely things,
of colors fit for queens and kings.

If these faeries you ever espy,
say nothing and just pass on by;
disturb them not amid their duties,
just be pleased you glimpsed these cuties.

Evening Bliss

Unrolling aroma around,
blooms the marvel of peru;
Yellow and dark peach are their hues
and the red hearts inside never fail to
amuse.

Kopsias the pink beauties,
Ixoras the colourful cuties,
Pin wheels the white queens
Every one happily waves and grins

When the summer sun is about to set
when blowing breeze wipes out sweats,
swinging on the contorted branches, koels sing
melodious harmony to the garden they bring

Rising crescent moon,
roosting birds' tunes,
redolent night flowers,
are tuneful treat to eyes, nose and ears

These are my evening bliss,
which I never want to miss

At Home With Nature

A garden of purple nature beauties,
Colourful small-sized nature gifts take flight,
it's a deep pleasure watching these cuties,
The sky is affable, serene and bright,
Basking in this ambience is alright,
We're in changing times and nature calls out,
For humans to take a different route,
As the night crawls, the sun takes a sink,
The wind says there's something to talk about,
The sky wears blushes of yellow and pink.

Back To the Future

We're not allowed to think it
Colonialism, apartheid had benefits
During apartheid RSA was clean
A religious sort of clean, I admit
But things worked, banks took checks
And you could go in, not pay to deposit
Out of fear of criminals, banks hide
From depositors, charge not "credit" (us)
Back before Mandela's famed win
Electricity was second cheapest
Only beaten by New Zealand in price
Now money cannot buy power/t"krag,"
My local grocery man says he can't pay
The cost of diesel, Rands1,000 an hour
To run generators to keep food fresh
And we are now in Day 2 of blackout
We are going back; the good old days?
Make a wood fire for morning mojo, tea?

NOTE:
It's 7:30 am by the time I post this, and it's 20 hours straight without any electric. The providers, government owned, just don't care enough. Corruption & lack of maintenance is destroying the first world status if our cuties & towns. Will investors come here when power is so undependable? No hot meal or drink for me since 11am yesterday, & one must travel to town in steady rain to buy, if available. God will always see us through, in Jesus's name. PTL

Kaleidoscope of Colors

Along with their hundred siblings
Desiderate food without quibbling
Devote their intact time leaves nibbling

Molting delicate skin during every instar
Enduring all the pain and the skin scars
These little cuties emerge as flying stars

Stepping into the magical prism cocoon
Hanging upside down throughout sun and moon
Starving and fainting inside, never they swoon

Red, blue,orange, green and yellow
Flying colors are these little fellows
Spread wings, blow wind, play music mellow

Unfurling exuberance around
The kaleidoscope of colors abound
Are the queens of world sans crowns

What's In a Color

What's in a color
A flower is a flower
Even the flowers grin in white
will shine bright during night
And those shimmer in red
adorn summer garden bed
Do I need to say about little cuties in yellow
that elegantly entice bees and entire fellows
Those violent wild verbenas in violet
engender the butterflies rules violate
Pretty Ixoras in red, orange and pink
extracted the hues from rainbow's ink
And those don the dress in blue
will make your problems blew
So what's in a color
A flower is always a flower

What makes us male guys go totally loopy
Eyeballing young females with a cute little booty
There ain't nuttin' finer
Makes us growl like a tiger
Or scream like a banshee while ogling these cuties
