719 Prayer to Mary: Our Lady of Good Counsel

Prayer to Mary:

Our Lady of Good Counsel

Hail Mary, Mother & Queen of Goodness

You are not a goddess, but you are our Patroness

The Our Lady of Good Counsel, oh Nuestra Señora

Grant us good counsel, oh Ave Maria

By God's love, provide good counsel to your son or daughter

Who asks it through you, our Heavenly Mother

By God's mercy, bestow good counsel to those who bow or lean

To your mantle & scepter, our Heavenly Queen.

Amen.

I Am One Peculiar Person

entry for Constance La France's contest:
Write a Beautiful Terza Rima

But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation,
a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him
who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light; 1 Peter 2:9

The very hairs of our heads are numbered
and Jesus has called us to be faithful.
Forgiven, with fear I am no longer encumbered.

Is it so peculiar to render the choice
to praise our Prince of Peace for deliverance
from darkness? His Spirit strengthens my voice.

I'm grateful, yet with restraint, to have the chance
to share my faith with those who spurn God’s good grace,
not deterred by their questioning glance.

Beforehand, without onslaught upon their space
I ask the Lord to lead in my approach.
Sometimes I sense, “Wait, don’t speak face to face.”

“Lighten up! This is not the time to encroach,
Show, don’t tell,” counsels my Coach.

The Voice Without Robes

Oh, esteemed clergy, heed to the lament,
Of laity's voice saddled with virtues not lent.

So also grasp the virtues and never go askew,
We all misstep, but confront the truths you knew.

Pride is tacked with injustice and palls of deceit,
Assert no purity from a tongue of the same suit.

You preach of love, yet starving us of that light,
You assert faith that still craves a discerning sight.

This is not animosity, but a call to an upright quest,
So you would thrive in honesty away a worldly jest.

Truth waver not with altitude; retract the craving for affluence,
They seduce until shadow of death draws to a confluence.

Be converted to convert the laity with words of delight,
It's only when you're true that God heals our
plight.

Take Counsel with God the Father

Jesus is vastly superior
He understands the interior of your heart

Duck out of society and
Take counsel with God the Father
This will impact your situation
So that you can impact it with His Mind

Jesus is vastly superior
He understands the interior of your heart
So speak to Him

light of the forest occurred once a year
beginning as a flicker, but ossifying into a white stag
is she our heart then? young sapling asked his twig
twig had no idea, so kept silent
owl, moss, mushrooms, and elementals knew
the wisest course is to let everyone figure it out
in their own time frame,
some learn it in one lifetime
others take hundreds of lifetimes to figure it out
god gave the sage ones a nod

Good Counsel

Good counsel

The enforced sleep to blind it all,
restless thoughts and what may befall.
Rescued from tensions to clear,
the truth so free that there is no more fear.
Tormented fortunes destiny in wilderness,
all tired receiving gladsomeness.
The pilgrimage as soul pioneer,
dreaming the larger life with heavenly cheer.
No longer let the vain world claim,
by the idleness of the chief mistress to refrain.
Holding that dream to escape that wise,
night shape liberty is the device.
To sleep it over labor for small gain,
may the weary nights spent in vain.
False and untrue knots of treason,
when loves compassion is not the reason.
Give the night the splendor as true proceeder,
listen to whispers of the taintless pleader.
Oh soul and bodies image guest,
fear not to touch that affection best.
Since heavens love in pure immortal high,
has mercy echoing through that new day rising sky.
That celestial love that we forget and ought,
counsel in lessons which needed to be taught.
Lovers scorn that love to possess,
when virtue claims ungratefulness.
Blessings for the nobler state to see,
gone is the fear by conditioned misery.

Rich

Happiness is not far from reach
It's not limited to the rich
And who has the morale right to determine who is rich?

Anyone who frees his mind from the ditch
Can reach
Serenity without a bridge

So if you want be rich
Do your best to deny your actions from leading you into the ditch

Dare to stay rich
And live rich
Because it is not
Far from reach

Godly Counsel
Written: by Miracle Man

I never seek the counsel of an unbeliever,
for this sort of advice could become my undoing.
I base no decision on words of a deceiver,
but adhere to God’s word by continued eschewing.

I prefer to let the Holy Spirit take the lead,
Following God's spirit, what can possibly go wrong.
why listen to advice that I'm reluctant to heed,
or because it echoes from an unbelieving throng.

Psalm 1 (KJV)
1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

Premium Member Any General Counsel Ogc Must Deliver Justice

JUSTICE REALLY CANNOT DELIVER TRUE JUSTICE UNLESS "JUSTICE"MAKES ITSELF "TRUE jUSTICE",AND THE ONLY WAY "REAL JUSTICE" CAN DO THAT IS BY "TENDERING JUDGEMENT WITH MERCY"!!! NEITHER THE CONGRESS OR THE SENATE IS DOING "JUSTICE"? DID BOTH OF THESE BODIES LOOSE ,OR REALIZE WHAT THE DEFINITION OF "JUSTICE REALLY MEANS? THE DEVIL IS ALWAYS THE ONE WHO LIKES TO BRING ABOUT CONFUSSION. THERE IS A "DUTY" THAT IS REQUIRED IN ORDER FOR "JUSTICE TO BE ACHIEVED"! JUDGEMENT IS NECESSARY,AND MERCY IS REQUIRED SO THAT "JUSTICE CAN SUCCEED AND FULFILL THE NEED TO BE "JUST"!!!!!THOSE WHO PRACTICE LAW,AND GET PAID A GREAT BIG SALARY ARE REQUIRED BY "JUSTICE" TO BE "JUST"AND THE ONLY WAY TO DELIVER JUSTICE IS TO JUDGE,AND TENDER JUDGEMENT WITH MERCY,OTHERWISE THE JUDGEMENT IS NOT "JUST" AND DOES NOT DELIVER "JUSTICE"! THE LAWYER BECOMES "THE CRIMINAL"IF HE OR SHE WILL NOT DELIVER "JUSTICE"! JUSTICE IS JUDGEMENT TENDERED WITH MERCY!!!! THE FACTS LETS US SEE WHAT IS TRUE,AND WE CAN BE JUST AS WE JUDGE BASED ON THE FACTS,AND TENDER OUR "JUDGEMENTS" WITH MERCY,SO THAT "JUSTICE CAN SHINE THROUGH"""'

Premium Member He Kept His Own Counsel

Others found him cold, aloof
   a bit of a snob
He kept his own counsel
   had nary a friend
Seemed content with a life
   unengaged, to no clear end

Though his insides were churning
   through felt rejection
his embittered heart burning --
Yet on his face not a trace
of his inner discernings
   of deep-buried yearnings
