Eternal Inferno

My previous state of darkness I once coincided
Has suddenly converted to being worthwhile and much more lighted
Resulting in celestial flares so fierce that the earth shifts
Our inflamed union has induced a flame to gunpowder kiss
Commencing this craving for the volatile feeling of your lips
On all things I have wished upon, and all the tears that I have wept
Could not flicker or diminish the lurid wildfire we have set
This fervor furnace ever burning on it's never-ending coals
A continuous inferno scorching the combination of our souls
Drawing out the firefighters and setting off smoke alarms
Nothing else matters if I am melted here in your arms
Together we can molten in our world lit ablaze
In a conflagration of ardor, where temperatures have been raised
Whenever I am beside you, our surroundings meltdown and fray
This endless enamored pyromania is fueled by our smolder
As the lurid wind swirls about the endless amber embers
My survival is no longer possible without the kiss from your lips
So together we must burn eternally like a pair of arsonists

Evocation

Winter paints a canvas of souvenirs,
its white steering the mind
to recall the lilac saffron fields
that yield to goldenrod….
unfurled pods, sundrenched and swollen
which release their pollen in passion pink.
We stopped to think, took it all in our stride.
Bliss and bashfulness coincided
with sentimental steps in depths of emotion.
We sprinted to catch butterfly moments;
so potent were those lackadaisical days.
A magical and mystical sunray haze,
unlimited by whimsicality.
Ice-cream stands, sticky hands,
and beads of sweat on brows;
all of them licked, somehow.
Kisses so sugar laden, a street haven,
and wayfarers who wished
for just a bit of what we shared.
In silence we now bathe in evocation
a colorful creation
where love abounds…today, and every day,
I hope we find it and remember.

Nobody ever forgets where he buried the hatchet. ~ Kin Hubbard

Riley was a control freak
barking orders at his wife
who'd scurry like a timid mouse
knowing if she didn't conform
a barrage of blows would rain down on her body

Of course, he made certain
not to mar her pretty face -
he needed her to look good
when she collected
his beer from the local store
leaving home at the same time every day
she was always back within the hour

But...unbeknownst to Riley
his wife Lou had caught the eye
of Sid the store keeper
they would steal passionate kisses
on his coffee break
which coincided with her visits

Sid knew her life was unbearable
and secretly he hired a hit man
to do the deed when Lou was out shopping

Riley was felled with one blow….
Nobody ever forgets where the hitman buried the hatchet!

Premium Member Blue Bird of Happiness

It's funny, how the first precious gift you've given me
Had coincided with a certain song I keep hearing.
I always started dreaming of seeing you again,
After I made our friendship disappear for two years.
I went from crying tears of sadness to tears of gladness.

The skies and the seas are always my true blues,
Seas that were as deep as me missing you.
The sky is where the gift that came from you and flew away.
It came back to me spiritually, my old strength returned again.

My memories of me and you shall never end,
Because I know, that no matter where I go,
My blue bird of happiness will always show me the way back
To where we last left each other.

Now I truly feel that we are best friends for real.
Seems like we'll be friends forever, even if we're not,
Then I will always keep my most prized treasures.
Because you were one of my best friends.
Thank you, my friend for my blue bird of happiness.

I am celebrating the new month of both calendar
It's rare to have lunar and solar month coincided calender
We should go beyond our extinguished challenger
Life is tough, it is sometimes just pure deceiver

May Love Rip

I passed away last night.
This morning I buried my soul.
Love died inside of me
My story left untold.

The funeral was attended
by Hurt, Anger and Pain
While Solitude and Despair
Slowly comforted me in the rain.

The mundane atmosphere,
Coincided with the mood.
I was dressed in a black outfit
With my head covered in a hood.

Black birds circled above
As the box lowered into the ground
Then descended on surrounding dead trees.
Mourning cries the only sound.

A heart shattered in pieces
Was scattered into the dismal dark sea
And drifted many miles away,
For the entire world to see.

Hope, Faith and Never Give Up,
Engraved on every piece.
A heart that held strong for many years.
Ends off as a ravenous feast.

Tears have finally run dry.
Emotions are stone cold.
Love died of natural causes,
Yet could have been consoled.

I passed away last night.
This morning I buried my soul.
A heart once full of love,
Leaves in its place a Black Hole…

Storm Drain

As I rest to gather strength,
To avoid the coming rush,
My arms are stretched at length,
But it seems a stretch I must...
A storm drain has the tendency,
To slowly pull you back,
But the lack of your dependency,
Helps you gain what's lost in slack...
So you tether on the edge,
As it tries to pull you in,
Drifting closer to the ledge,
Of the wave you're trapped within...
While what's falling all around you,
In the current passes by,
So that it cannot be bound to,
Let the truth become a lie...
And when the flow's subsided,
You can stand against the rain,
Until the flood that coincided,
Finds a pathway to the drain...

Secret

He walks around with a secret untold
Its taken his peace, and life begins to unfold.
No one understands the pain he has to bare.
Now everything tastes different, even the air.

Life is now empty stares from the corners of a prison cell.
Like seeing a glimpse of light, from the bottom of a well.
Walking amongst the living, as though he were dead.
He won't give it up, because on his soul they will tread.

They who forget are one day destined to remember.
Seeing life as a fire, and he is the fading ember.
Taking in the world, seeing why were not coincided.
Once subtracted, and nothing left to be divided.

A lifetime coming down to its lowest common denominator.
Buying a one-way train ticket, on a wooden box freighter.
Telling himself everything will be fine and he'll once again shine.
He's said that ever since his test came back, with a positive sign.

Nicole

With a simple glance
She stole my heart
Subsided all my fears
And granted me serenity
Through the most joyous of tears

Stormy southern night
Wine induced conversation
Thunder coincided with
The beats of my heart
In which she breathed new life

Illuminating the night
Each flash of lightning
Slowly revealed her
Each and every part

It was in this moment
I saw life imitate art
And with a simple glance
She stole my heart…

The Second Coming Vs. the Spectacle

The second coming of Jesus coincided with the World Cup game,
But no one noticed him as he had no expensive merchandise bearing his name.

People were flocking en masse to the stadium, with it bright lights and
pyrotechnics galore,
And Jesus with his long hair and sandals, looked a little like a bum, So was quite
easy to ignore.

One brave man spoke, and I thought he had something to say,
But all he said to Jesus was 'Hey man, you're going the wrong way! '
So I asked Jesus, if anything it was he had to say,
He shrugged his shoulders and said 'It doesn't really matter, I'm an atheist
anyway.'
'All this Son of God !@#$, I don't really understand,
I'm just a dissident carpenter, an ordinary man.'

As for me, I'm a Pantheist, I see heaven in the trees.
You wont catch me kissing the cross down upon my knees.
So I'd best shut up 'fore I get myself in trouble,
With all of the people out there who live inside a bubble.
