Clear Signs Poems | Examples

This world, what a stage

The world is a play,
Man adlibs improvised lines
Unrehearsed all th’way,
Tragedy, farce? No clear signs,
He plays for applause, but pines.

Skyscraper - In My Dream

Skyscraper:

In my dream,
The snow lay round about,
Showing clear signs of melting decay
As if light rain had fallen on it recently,
And my eyes could hardly fail to see
The head of a dead man,
A brave Ukrainian,
Murdered there.

God shows
What comes to be
As you see
More clearly
How love grows

Purge vice
Just keep heart kind
Don’t be blind
To clear signs
Beyond price

Prize wit
As jest knows fest
In your quest
For the best
As bits fit

Heaven's Protection

Her skin silken, like soft chiffon in the break of morn,
encompassed in her essence I shall never escape-
Her pulchritude magnificent, I shall always adorn,
exult only in the silhouette of her delicate nape.
Under the tangerine sun our vows were sworn,
resurrected in a chasm of love, I was reborn.

She’s my impetus motivation when my muse declines,
bestowing opulence and fortunate inspiration-
I sought redemption and see all the clear signs,
for she brings me a blazing and passionate sensation.
God has made so many blueprints, so many designs,
that’s why I bow to Him as our universe shines.

Seems so many have made a mockery of our affection,
not seen the excellence and marvel in our bond-
They’ve made vicarious noise spoken in imperfection,
for how can they chain a love so rare and fond?
Our splendor resides in our perpetual connection,
we shall always be bound by heaven’s protection.

See autumn dark reveal bright stars,
Touch warms to feel the skyline space;
Arc of light sparks twinkling so far,
Reach beyond will that brilliant trace;

Lift upwards stare across mist swirls,
If we but know night's festive flair;
Glimpse how our cares syncs with good earth,
Here watch full show in chilly air;

Thrill in fond touch of joy that grounds.
Choice flavours well soul's inward gaze,
Apt moments nudge grand wonders found;
Note lavish spell that channels maze,

Observe the shine of stars above,
Prize affluent lines in glowing love,
Yes scripts most fine like scented cloves.
Attest clear signs like hand and glove!

Heaven Sending Clear Signs Of Hope's Return
     (Sweet Hope Returns)(Part Two)

Solitary ray of light breaks grey dawn's pain,
flowing smoothly with emerging cool breeze.
Am I dreaming or truly going insane?
Is this apparition just another tease?

Confidence grows as majestic sun breaks through,
heaven sending clear signs of Hope's return.
That precious moment dear, I thought only of you
and just how once fiercely our great love did burn!

Songbirds soon began chirping softest tunes.
Life danced gaily through broad swaying trees.
Then I pictured you dancing under glowing moons,
blessed answer to sincere, desperate pleas.

Time flew, I saw Hope had freed my aching heart.
Night came, you came, ending our sad months apart.

Seek to know
Fast and slow
How love shows

Seek to see

Soul set free

Seek the truth
That firms proof
In deep grooves

Seek love here
In these spheres
Through kind cheer

Seek the best
To forge quest
In full zest

Seek in kind
Peace of mind
In clear signs

Seek the way
To live play

With plain purge

Seek true joy
As you toy

Seek wise worth

Seek the end
As start trends
Round life's bend

Seek grand grounds

Never pawn a dream.
Suspend the draft sought,
Explore the right stuff.
Play against the odds,
Live bold and enough;
Adjust to the quest,
No nonsense works best.

Backpackers

Long lines
of childhood
are over. The
mould is cold
as stone, the
damage is done.

Now it is time to
pack the back
and disappear.
Let the search
begin. Fall freely
into the abyss,
learn to trust
the wind, test
yourself in the
waves, swim
in the undertow.
Get physical,
give and take
emotional pain,
write, speak,
listen, digest.
Confront your
enemies, especially
yourself. Wait
for clear signs
to show you the
way, be patient.
Get fit, prepare
for war. Find one
(or more) soulmates,
become a parent,
learn to give, work
hard and save.

Dwindling lines
of adulthood
are almost over.
The body of work
is drained, the
damage is done.

Pack your back
again and repeat
all of the above.
