Charades Poems

masquerading under moonlight
a litany of muffled love disguised
dares not reach the heart it seeks

honorbound the laden breeze
is forced to find its way
to kiss the beloved's cheek
before a single tear has fallen

Worst time for a heart attack is playing Charades
Hope players don't think you're good at these escapades
Could mean certain death
Or at least extreme stress
Stress is preferred to death since the Crusades

He said “I love you” in the night
when all he truly meant was that
he longed to kiss and hold her tight.

She said “forever lets begin”
when hearing words he spoke to her
and then she willingly gave in.

Their passions flowed, he curled her toes
for fifteen minutes then without
pretense he up and donned his clothes.

She said “don’t go,

Sometimes, God Plays Charades

Sometimes, God plays Charades
And expects me to understand,
And I don’t.

But sometimes,
I get it!

(Or, do I?)

Is it pride that tells me that I understand?
Sometimes, I know I do…
But that’s not always!

Who gets it all the time, I wonder?
Probably a Saint!

Ah, well!

Charades is a game where one guesses
The favourite things that she blesses
A flower to see?
Simply pee on knee
And the hostess cleans up the messes?

Charades

I had wanted to be good
But was short lived by the inevitable
I had wanted to fulfil plans
But was engrossed with the joy of unfulfillment;
And was caught up with the deadly messenger.
I had wanted to be give you all your desires
Giving you hopes on unrealistic things
Might be that's the only way you could learn
But the

A Lesson In Charades

How could I have been so blind
The obvious showed in the obvious places
yet I chose to sit back
enjoy the show and ignore the signs
stay blind like a good little pet on a leash
All the answers to the endless questions
that never sub-sided
Every rumor I tried to uncover proved true
Almost a year to the date
It's been one

Charades, Parades and Video Games

dead on the inside rotten one the outside
should go and hide but hindered by my pride
try to be unique but treated like a leper
standing tall but crumbling under pressure
take a look and you’ll see its a charade
marching like pro lifers at a pro choice parade
in the midst of something you don’t understand
watching and waiting for

Charades

Our ove is a game of charades,
Silent but beaningful,
I motionto you my feelings,
Misunderstood by all but you,
"3 words, 1st word,"
Boasted beautifully,
i blink as profusely as,
My heart beats for you,
"Eye?"
Smoothly said,
"2nd Word,"
Closing my eyes,
I act as if spring ,
Waits for us,
Cuddled together as 1,
"Love?"
Passionately pronounced,
"3rd Word,"
Slowly,
I am uncle sam,
pointing directlty at you,
Smiling nervously...
" I love you
