body is an experience centre
lower mind acting as an interface
so we but watch thought forms as they canter
as clouds in the sky we need not efface
wafting as they wish at an easy pace
and as for our senses externalised
they are silenced that God be realised

We will try

We dismiss the requirements
Because of certain sentiments
So we misrepresent
Our own augmented faults
They canter and Ill banter
Is no more than a moment's slander
The wealthy want us to pander
For less than a grain off salt

They keep us confused when to stand
To keep broken humanity's band
So when the answer is close at hand
We will stay all stand alone
But if we ever find our way
And not step blindly into the fray
We may finally see a day
That we are unified and atoned

Premium Member The merging

The third eye, guru chakra and crown merge,
becoming as it were, a seamless whole,
a band of steel, from which bliss does emerge,
mirroring God’s light, which scriptures extol.

Bliss drips from third eye right down to the root,
completing this the grid that loops our form
and as all vertebrae in spine reboot,
the only doing we do is conform.

Totality of Self is now one node
and so in truth there remains no centre,
our heart’s acknowledgement to God an ode,
joyous beholding bliss horses canter.

There is nothing to say, much less to do ~
We become the flame as bliss beats renew

What seemed good luck as the influx of grace,
as hurriedly judged by logical mind,
was the outcome of slowing down life’s pace,
by leaving cravings of ego behind.

Connected to God through our heart centre,
shifting to feeling rather than thinking,
we drew in bliss, which began to canter,
bringing about awareness unblinking.

In time ego died but it never was,
being but a bubble of illusion
but no one knew that we dwelt in the pause,
peace the result of head and heart fusion.

God’s benedictions rain down on souls pure,
whose hearts are childlike and presence demure.

Premium Member Avadhuta Gita chapter 3 verse 5

“How shall I speak of the Whole, which is non-dual? How shall I speak of the Whole, which is of the nature of duality? How shall I speak of the Whole, which is eternal and non-eternal? I am the nectar of Knowledge, homogeneous Existence, like the sky”

Be the truth visible or invisible,
whether as manifest or unmanifest,
consciousness is one and indivisible,
pervading all that is, yet always at rest.
Bereft of attributes, Self shines in its light,
beyond space and time, poised in drunken delight,
recognised as vibrance in the heart centre,
the quintessence of life, where bliss beats canter.

Premium Member Koalas, Goannas, Possums

I love to use botanical names
for Australian native flora
Reminds me of a horse ride
the rhythm of a canter

So many common names
among the native gum
Blues, reds, greys and several kinds of white
Known only to locals as a rule of thumb

Latin names define colour, growth
or even where they're found
Eucalyptus each one distinctive
among seven hundred species that abound

Genus eucalyptus, includes nearly all the gums found on the Australian continent
Flowers of a brilliant hue. yellow, orange, red and white
Attract the native bees, collecting nectar
often hear them buzzing whilst in flight

Twenty four thousand species
of Australian native plants
Grevilleas, melaleucas, acacias, leptospernum, callistems and more
All hosting many animals
possums, goannas, koalas, birds bees and ants

God dwells in every form,
including ours of course,
which is what we must see
but we look at the shell,
not at roots of the tree.

God dwells in every form,
as breath of life itself,
thus this practice begin,
holding firm our focus,
look deeper than the skin.

God dwells in every form,
which without Him is dust,
so feel bliss magnetism
that makes us feel alive,
aglow in body prism.

God dwells in every form
and so we can find Him,
deep in the heart centre,
where we may sense His touch,
as bliss that does canter.

Praise my poetry prowess
I'm a man not a mouse
With my prose and my rhyme

Yes my ego's been soused
And is big as a house
At least most of the time

When level, I canter
I revel in banter
I'm not anyone's mime

Put me up on that stage
Though I don't act my age
And I'm well past my prime

So come in for the show
It don't cost much you know
Just a measly red dime

Said you're saving your bucks
And think poetry sucks
Then I say that's a crime

Sweet Inspiration

You're my sweet inspiration
Let me see the light
I want to be born again
You taught me the steeps over
Let me return the favour
Grant me your smile
Make my spirit canter
I would have never missed you from the door
Let me be carried by the four winds
So you can make me whole again

Premium Member Oblivious to reality

Each living in their private world,
into which no one can enter,
within the cave of their heart curled,
are driven by thoughts that canter
but when flag of love is unfurled,
they recognise soul’s true centre.

Look at souls living by instinct,
fuelled by both desire and fear,
their head and heart not with love inked,
thus blocking God from drawing near,
until they are by angels winked,
which happens when truth is held dear.

In this lucid dream, what’s real,
save love’s touch and bliss beat’s appeal?

Premium Member duality delights

head and heart in balance
poised at the stillness centre
pure intent invokes grace
whence bliss begins to canter

no doubt heart is delighted
but though bliss enlivens form
recognising we’re not body-mind
we need to transcend this storm

as vibrant formless awareness
experiencing magnetism in body urn
gratefully accepting boons of grace
we surrender to love’s benign bliss burn

the Self in singularity has no attribute
this we know having been and seen
but be this as it may, in singularity
there is no wisdom our being can glean

Premium Member Love and light masked

Love and light masked with light banter
With each out-breath we die
Who else knows how bliss beats canter
The way we wingless fly

With our will to God bent
Our transparent intent
Always grants love consent

We help when asked
Love and light masked

You Saw Anew

      Sundial numerals illuminate
Knowing noon narrow shadow arrow strikes
Flicks ‘round corners of maze elaborate
      Heraldic daffodil, dormant out psychs

      Lion, amber assured stride resolute
Teams beside mine, admires canter cloud bounce
Trembled meshing manes make brushstrokes astute
      Abstract turns apparent, rewound amounts

Labyrinth lane secures our fears slumbering
      Canary chortle performs audacious
Honey wine celebrates when Summer brings
Walls torched in lofty laughing blazes

Flung flaxen, fertile wheat fields’ wispy waltz
Scorched xanthe seeds multiply dream results

    Yellow Leo

country morning

Travelling to your country morning
wading through the mists
birds echoes rising
off canter horses
like tears striving
