Lying dead on the concrete floor,
Chilly weather and the concrete is just as cold.
How did that bubbly Nice kid die?
I guess he had too much roaming around in his little creative mind.
Gun in his mouth and the smoke still flowing,
Blood all over and the camera still rolling.
Is this an act, was he making a movie?
What about the morning after he is done? His body deep under the calm yet stern mud.
Did he live a facile life or was it a fun one?
And was his demise worth even a dime?
What will be the views of emotionless humans on this lugubrious crime
Surely worth a watch, surely worth your precious time.
Eight years ago, the world gained a light,
With blonde hair shining and eyes ocean-blue,
A girl who is bubbly, courageous, and bright,
There's truly nobody quite like you.
You're smart and you're sassy, a whirlwind of fun,
Dancing to K-pop with rhythm and grace,
With the heart of a Hunter, the battle is won,
With a smile that can light up the loneliest place.
You've got Stitch for the mischief and Angel for love,
And Labubus tucked in your arms for a squeeze,
A mix of the sunshine and stars from above,
Moving through life with such laughter and ease.
So stay sweet and carefree, keep dreaming so big,
The world is your stage, and you're the star of the show.
From every small hop to each K-pop jig,
We're so proud to watch you continue to grow.
Happy 8th Birthday!

TIME FOR SOME BUBBLY
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After a day filled with rhyme,
Storm the Squirrel found time, sublime.
In a tub full of lathering foam,
with effervescent glass she imbibed at home.
Sipping champagne, enjoying her poetic prime!
With bubbles that danced all around,
she admired words and verses she’d found.
“But dear sonnets and haikus,
you’ve given me such blues,
But now with this fizz, joy abounds!”
So she toasted to muses and dreams,
to the creativity that fills her to the seams.
With a wink and boisterous cheer,
she declared, “Fellow poets, have no fear,
For tomorrow, I’ll conquer new themes!”
dawn-born bubbles rise
lifting in glass to the sky
an exultant choir—
ringing a sacred mantra
to summon the faithful throng
the soft incense clings,
invisible yet binding,
threading through the mist—
binding spirits together
all sharing a common breath
wind shakes the blossoms
perfume drifts out as a lure
for lone foragers—
coming back with a new dance
a waggle step hymn pathway
one for one and all
though small they rise together
heart tuned to one pulse—
a common proud heritage
ancient unbroken alive
when threats bang the gate
when summer's furnace bears down
wings thunder like drums—
rallying to guard the home
defending their holy ground
let us circle close
songs and breath woven in thread
of effervescence
gracious in our common cause—
fizzing in chalice of light
Bubbly verbose bee had so much to say.
Ideas spilled out every which way
He was a motormouth back in the day
Fifty years later, he still has his say
I did not ask to be taken to his leader for I was in my nightie.
But the alien zapped me with a spray and I was there, all righty
I was trembling as I faced the machine they called grubbly bubbly
“What ideas are you here to steal?” He asked. His mouth was wubbly.
I began to tremble and wobble, and the alien zapped me with vim.
“He asked you a question,” he hissed. “I suggest you answer him.”
I was terrified now, and I tried to speak, but I was too scared to talk.
I don’t think she’ll be any trouble, the machine said. So take a walk.
I woke up in my back meadow, hoping the whole thing was a dream.
But every time I closed my eyes that night, I saw that intimidating machine.
A grubbly bubbly is terrifying I told myself, I am glad we got away.
A bunch of giggling beside me showed the alien was continuing to play.
The final sunset
giddy with bubbly wishes,
sparkly stars renew.
I need the satisfaction of a cold carbonated cola
it smooths my stomach with a burp, love that soda
I drink diet caffeine free don't need empty calories
Like the Coca Cola gold and white label Pepsi
Try to get the Dr. Pepper one is an impossibility
Sometimes I just want the fun and flavor of a bubbly
those bubbles tickle your nose and make a happy tummy
Diet fruit flavors and the clear lemon limes
are almost all caffeine free for bubbly time
A doc told me that caffeine could trigger my gout
so now caffeine I can gladly live without
Sure I drink decaffeinated coffees and teas
And water is always a way to stay healthy
I need the happiness you get with an ice cold cola
so allow me my caffeine free diet sodas
waters flowing fiesty down the stream
endless energy dartingly roaring
incessant rumblings of enthusiasm
under doting sun the giggles gurgling
freshness sprinting and cascading
simmering lifefilled and bubbling
in a luscious melody of breezy babble
twirl effervescent endless whirls of curls
Tristich in rhyme
Effervescent
she is
full of sparkle
and fizz
The most resilient
gal around
she's bubbly stuff
(can't keep her down)
Bobbing up
light and airy
full of whimsy
visionary
A playful, funny
fabulous sprite
she glows florescent
in sunlight
People find her
motivating
like champagne
intoxicating
Poignant truth
is what she's after
she gets there
with sassy laughter
Bubbles rising
to the top
break surface tension
with a >POP!<
'Though bitter truth-taste
may offend
you'll never find
a truer friend!
I bubble and I gurgle,
I’m tangy and I’m tasty.
Unless you stop drinking me,
Because if you do that, you really won’t be able to stand my taste later.
Believe me, I do not care.
I don’t need the few of you who don’t adore me.
Because so many others truly admire my gassy stomach bubbles.
They don’t care that I’m tearing the enamel off of their teeth
In the 1960’s we tried to sell my cousin as a hot drink, remember?
That worked a few Friday nights at parties of pre-teen girls.
My cousin was all puffed up when those commercials came on TV.
I have always been special.
Usually, poured into punch bowls with sherbet ice cream,
Or doled into children’s mouths when they needed their stomachs soothed.
My can is gorgeous; with the contrasting colors, both Christmas-like and bright.
My distant relatives are usually red or brown - crass, harsh, rude even.
Were you around in the 70’s when they used to make shoes using my logo?
Boy, I was all of that then!
Zeal zooms zest
Bright booms best
Clear cheer crafts
Dream dance drafts
Love leaps loud
Praise prompts proud
Write words wise
Pique pure prize
Just joy jumps
Sweet swing sums
Feel fond fest
Quaint ***** quest
Last light lifts
Glimpse great gift
Thrill true taste
Heed heart haste
Mind moves more
Craft calm core
