Waiting for the call

Waiting for the call

Time is the coin of life
Spend it wisely

Who's to blame?
Now they know your game.
Ain't it strange
That we need to be framed.

We need to escape
To a house by the sea
To get away from the
The other you and me
To be free

It's easy to say
Not so easy to see

Waiting for the call

Premium Member 2034-The Fall of Big Brother

Humanity suffers, totalitarianism reigns,
Vanity crushes our personal gains,
Mankind is weeping and working as slaves,
Those who refuse are remembered in graves.

This is the fate of the people who cry,
How do they rate if they do or they die?
How do you choose what to do with your life?
Most people can't who succumb to the strife.

What does it take to be free of it all?
How do you win or be ready to fall?
What do you do when you don't have a gun?
Where do you flee if there's nowhere to run?

We've got the numbers to do as we must,
Even though people are lacking in trust,
Who do you turn to and when should you speak?
What do you hide or be ready to leak?

Suddenly angels appear in their strength,
Prayers of the righteous are answered at length,
People are saved by the sentries of good,
Mankind is spared when we do as we should.

My Ranjan Bhaiya

In the heart of our home, there stands a light,
My Ranjan Bhaiya, a beacon so bright.
With a golden heart, he walks the path wide,
A guide through the storm, a steadfast stride.

His laughter is warm, like the morning sun,
In a world full of shadows, he’s second to none.
With wisdom that flows like a river so deep,
He dreams of the heights, while the humble still sleep.

A businessman bold, with visions that soar,
He opens new doors, creating much more.
With each venture he leads, he lifts up the ground,
Empowering many, where hope can be found.

He shares his success, never keeping the score,
In the tapestry woven, he’s threading the core.
For every hand helped, every heart that he mends,
My Ranjan Bhaiya, a true friend who transcends.

Through challenges faced, he stands tall and true,
With kindness as currency, in all that he’ll do.
In the stories we share, his legacy grows,
A man of great vision, with compassion that glows.

So here’s to my brother, my mentor, my guide,
With a heart made of gold and a spirit of pride.
In the journey of life, may we always align,
For my Ranjan Bhaiya, forever will shine.

Big brother watch its a British innovation.' Its seems
Almost Orwell inspired? to support the independance
Of nations.!! Silkie Carlow heads it up.' Why dont youhave

When the sky was falling, 2020 like..' The answer was
Simple.! just go out on strike.' Don't trust the slavers who

BIG BROTHER

BIG BROTHER

The science fiction of yesteryear
Is now here, or all coming true
A futuristic view was imagined
Wunderkind authors like Asimov
Thought much of, and influential
So much potential on every page
In this modern age, it has emerged
As tech has surged, dominating all
But heed the call, it can go wrong
And mankind’s song can soon end
It may depend on how we learn
When books burn, it’s a reminder
To find a better way to progress
Leave no mess, for the planet’s sake
What’s at stake is all our futures
Computers taking over with A.I
But ask why, don’t blindly accept

Big Brother

He blithely wanders along
Down a near empty street
Off to see his mates for their
Monthly catch up and meet.
He’s happily unaware that
As he saunters slowly by
His every move is noted
By that Big Eye in the sky.

He stops to take some money
From the street cash machine
His every transaction recorded
His every visit filmed and seen
The internet logs his browsing
He may think it’s a mystery
But it’s still there even though
He deletes his browsing history.

His location precisely placed
From use of his mobile phone
In these modern times a person
Is very seldom really on his own.
Not quite as Orwell pictured it
But so very very near
Whether we like it or not
1984 is really here.

Big Brother Is Watching
They say in a good cause
Helping to maintain stability
Ensuring we keep the laws.
It supposedly keeps us safe
Every single place we go
But in reality it’s just to
Maintain the Status Quo.

Be Big Brother

as. You. Go do more
If you can help other stand
Black or white
You there life not right
Be part gods plan
Show love t o other
BE A BIG BROTHER

Congratulations! You’re going to be a big brother!
This is a special day!
Your Mommy and Daddy just found out…
your baby sister’s on her way.

We know whoever she is…
whatever name your parents pick
she’ll be bringing along with her
your fist lessons in arithmetic.

With a beautiful face we’re sure you’ll soon come to adore…
she’ll teach you simple addition…how 3 + 1 makes 4.

She’ll teach you about subtraction…
you will make the perfect pair…
and you’ll learn how much you miss her…
those times when she’s not there.

She’ll teach you how to share
how to divide things into equal parts.
You’ll learn how sharing is a gift
that comes from somewhere in your heart.

You’ll wonder where all the love you’re feeling for her comes from..
If it was hiding deep inside?
And how, once she arrived, the love within your family…
so quickly multiplied.

All this and more she will teach you..
and one day it’ll be your turn…
to teach her these same lessons…
when she is old enough to learn.

Big Brother

My big brother is someone special.
He knows how to make you laugh.
He fears nothing,
even the darkness under the bed,
or the evil monster in the closet.
He is ready,
he is steady...
he is there for me.

Everyone should have a big brother,
everyone needs one for sure.
They are there for splinter removal,
and/or bike repair...
they will chase you up,
and then down...
the stair.

Bullies never stood a chance,
the brick wall always showed right up.
He was taller by a foot than all the rest.
No one ever wanted to put him...
to the test.

I am all grown up now,
as that happens.
I still need him,
my big brother, after all...
Yet he is gone,
and I must muttle,
but that is okay too,
as he would laugh...
at the way I futtle.

Premium Member Fear of Big Brother

Only the top Air Force and Navy brass
Know of our treaty with alien planets
Authorized by Eisenhower to capture and study humans
As payment for sharing their advanced technology with the USA
Shelly stopped typing and stared at her paragraph
Would Big Brother censor her if she shared it?
Would they eliminate her and her family?
Two hours later a SWAT team knocked down her door.
They carried her off into the night.
She was screaming, but the neighbors pretended to hear nothing.
As fearful of Big Brother as she should have been.

Big Brother, Is the Rat
Haiku: by Tom
1/11/2022

We’re told get the jab.
Like a Lab Rat, we’ve no say.
Big Brother knows best.

Have had both shots and booster
on advice from my cardiologist.
I wasn’t mandated.

Premium Member Big Brother Could Be Watching

Haven't got time for those cynical people
They're never gonna drag me down
Life's too short for whining and complaining
In their own negativity they drown

For twenty-four seven it's non-stop paranoia
Can't imagine living that way
On the sunniest day their sun doesn't shine
I rather spend time making hay

Suspecting the government's watching us
Taping us each time we pee
Had no idea things had gotten that serious
Why such interest in little old me

Well I'm just gonna go on my merry old way
More important things on my mind
Like feeding Dufus and my Persian cat Lily
A good way to stay sane I find

Haven't got time for those cynical people
There's exciting stuff to explore
This friendly old planet is beckoning me
So I'm off to open more doors

7 Billion Super Kill

7 billion super kill
i wonder too about all this
my idle mind goes into overdrive
i think of the 7 billion humans
the ruling elite may or may not kill off
leaving just 500 million left alive
they don’t need our taxes
i was thinking 'sensibly' how they would do this?
a virus is too iffy
nukes too destructive/radioactive
how about sending unmanned space probes
to asteroids with spare engines
put the engines on the rocks and fly them to earth
all gps guided
either say the rocks are for mining for recourses
or just use them as a weapon to kill 7 billion
my idle mind lol...
