Remember when we were young, you and I
Bit of boyish mischief we used to cause
The swearing, pushing, shoving, and punches
We'd put on the charm when it came to mom
Bit of boyish mischief we used to cause
You, big brother, I followed and looked up to
We'd put on the charm when it came to mom
Inseparable, we stood by one another
You, big brother, I followed and looked up to
We went our different paths as we grew
Inseparable, we stood by one another
I miss the fun times when we were kids
We went our different paths as we grew
The swearing, pushing, shoving, and punches
I miss. The fun times when we were kids
Remember when we were young, you and I

A plain Pantoum not a rhyming pantoum
Contest Name PANTOUM
Sponsored By: Line Gauthier
February 10, 2020 POTD
Typically a pantoum is made up of two rhyming couplets, however, Western writers altered and adapted the form, the importance of rhyming and brevity diminished. So, pantoums do not need to rhyme.
They've tuned into your frequency
And watch you from your TV
Invading your privacy
As your thoughts they oversee
They hack into our cell phones
Stealing all our pics
Everything we own
They find by just a click
Big Brother's always watching you
Through a secret door
They have us under full review
It's nineteen eighty four!

Big Brother
When I was little I thought you knew everything.
I thought you could do anything.
I believed you were bigger than life.
You were at least bigger than me,
and always told me stuff.
I trusted you.
When the bad man came,
the evil monster in the night,
the shade in the darkness,
you were not there.
You were somewhere else.
I tried to tell you “he” would come back.
You did not understand me? Or!
You did not want too.
If you did, then there was more…
It was worse than I had already lived through,
and it would be repeated, often.
That made everything sadder.
I thought you were a warrior.
I thought you slew dragons.
You are just a boy.
I should never have thought I could be saved.
I was given away from the start.
The price…
paid.
All is okay now.
I forgive you.
I am 7 years old and have already learned a lot
as ...
"God's wife is called Godmother
She is the mother of all her grandchildren:
Noah, Jesus and Santa Claus "
This is my second year at school
"All children start with clean hands"
(laughter ......... :)
By the way
... do you know?
"Grandmothers have very big bra
They are so big that
I get the whole butt and two knees into one bowl
... the second my brother can use a cradle "
From the child's mouth :)

Domestic spying
striking similarities
1984
Eruption silenced
by a snowstorm of violence:
Nature unbalanced
"My Big Brother" up and down the street
He could be anyone you meet
Spying on you from the street
Looking in from every beat
"My Big Brother" isn't that sweet
"My Big Brother" and I don't know why
Casting in from above the sky
"My Big Brother" the commie spy
Listening in do or die
Bringing his book in
Taught within
My Big Brother, 1-800-LET-US IN
Caught with paper and a pen
All because, "My Big Brother" let himself in
Osiris watching from the sky
Satellite recon harvesting personal
data on you and I
Sending chills down the spine
In the name of national security
Big brother is listening on the line
Privacy eroded freedoms rights scorned
Electronic surveillance now the norm
Everywhere you go Big brother knows
Everything you do Big Brother is watching you
Big Brother,
born for those days of adversity
Your loving words
always did greatly comfort me
I loved you from the first time
you tickled my toes
I loved you even more
when you said to me: love God and let go
You told me not to hold on
to all that pain and misery
You said in order to free our soul,
we must have faith and believe
Always believe in Jesus Christ,
our only True Friend for life
You said you're just a big brother
trying to tell me that which is right
Big Brother,
I loved you from day one,
and over the years it only grew
This deep love that's in my heart,
will always be there for you
A tribute to my beloved brother Michael
When he was a child, He threw my belongings out the window
Gazed upon me not knowing, Where I would go
Belt welts for my belongings, He did not know where about
Dwelling in a cold city night, They looked for me in my fright
When I became a teem mom, He embraced my change
Knowing I've always been like a mother, Even when not holding the title of her name
When he realized he beat me, He was not naive to see
However his mind was not developed enough , To see it was breaking threads
He adapted to my change gradually, Seeing it as the norm
Eventually seeing the sister he once knew, Becoming someone he now mourned
As he grew he pushed harder because he knew, My hopes and dreams for him were true
Occasionally falling off track, He intensely fought back
So that he to could give up, But he continues to strive
Graduating first, Meeting the finish line
He knew he made me proud, As an adult expressing I was heard cheering all along In receiving my approval, Formulating his grind
When I gave up, In my energy he drowned
Helping me to stay afloat, Encouraging me as his life boat
I continue to tread water, Within tsunamis in my head
Now using him as the outlet, In which I express my purge
My deep darkest fears, Managing the currant so I can breathe
Helping to improve my strokes, Through his knowledge of swimming
When younger siblings step in, In pride we should not be led
Through an Ego filled mind, Remember they've been watching you the entire time
My Lil Big Brother
you are being watched
adjust privacy settings
they can still see you ~
So my big brother
Samuel James, goes
by the name Sam, he
Started out as my friend,
but now he's my big
brother; the one who's
always there, the one
who will always stick up
for me, and help me anyway
he can, will never do me
wrong, always true, always
honest, always the Big Brother
I love forever~n~always,
To death and beyondm and that beyond
is eternally. Sam you always
know how to make me happy it's
hard not to laugh around you, then put
you and my sexy hubby together & it's
so funny, and fun, and Priceless.
I see a family full of love,
the one who can never hurt me,
The one who is amazing and fun to be around,
I love you Big Brother Sam!

They say "Big Brother" is watching you,
And I know that it must be true.
Someone sees and hears us all,
Whether we do good or if we fall.
That Someone is God's Son, Jesus.
Our Big Brother, He always sees us.
Everything we do, every word we say,
Jesus sees and hears everyday.
Not just our deeds, He knows our thoughts,
He knows the hidden secrets of our hearts.
Nothing is hidden from His watchful eyes.
He sees and hears each breath, each sigh.
Yes, Big Brother is watching us,
The Son of God, Christ Jesus.
But more than watch, He intercedes,
Asking the Father to meet our needs.

“Big Brother”
Brother I grew up in front of your eyes
I have seen you tear in silence
You don’t have to hide your pain
For I understand
Why you can’t meet your mother’s gaze
You have been brave
Roaming the streets late at night
We prayed for your safe return
Each time you felt the need to be alone
She broke your spirit
Made you feel less than a man
She convinced you that you were insane
She broke you down
Isolated you from family and friends
Made you to sit and wait while she sleeps the day away
Your soft nature in her eyes a weakness
She knew how to pull your strings
And have you dance to her tune
You have endured her physical and mental abuse
Silently loosing yourself
Your business and dreams took second place
Dancing to her every tune
Waiting on her hand and foot
Withholding herself
Whilst having affairs at work
The Great career woman
She broke you totally
Drove you over the edge
Working late nights to support her shopping sprees
Exhaustion drove you to crystal meth
Introduced by a friend
She boasting to her friends
Her raised voice your submission
Belittling and insulting you in front of your staff
You know what, Yahya
You have come a long way
Finally you have made it back
You have conquered all the hurt
Your future bright
Success in the palms of your hands
Rise above it all
Show what you are made of
You were once a self made man
You can do it again
The family believes in you

He had kind eyes
He had a big heart,
He had a great smile
He had a good life start,
He had it good growing up
He had friends all the time,
He had a girlfriend that he married
He had a family by twenty nine,
He had a boy and two girls
He had a dog and a cat,
He had a house on the hill
He had a lake in the back,
He had a job with good money
He had a future so bright,
He had good health on his side
He had everything right,
He had a dark secret
He had always lied,
He had us all fooled
He Died - SUICIDE,
He was my big brother
He was loved everyday,
He is missed in our lives
He's in God's hands, he lay.
