Burly Brawn gets up at the crack of dawn
Cracks his knuckles, morning dew on the lawn
Black hair curly, so surly was Burly
Beware of which side of the street you're on

The first 3 letter of 'Yesterday' spell 'Yes'.
But beware and be wise about saying 'Yes'
To your yesterdays. Many of them could
Be very dangerous to your 'Today'.
The idea of such can be very appealing,
But it can also be most deceptive and
Leave one with the need for much healing.
Experience often teaches us to chart our
Yesterdays as we would a minefield. One
Unwise or inadvertant move could be
Explosive and destructive.
So, let us beware, be wise, be prayerful,
and handle our yesterdays with care.
The guiles of spiders are designed to fetch
Life-support prey seldom of an own kind.
If wild cats hunt, it’s only food to find--
What ye call beasts, in heart hate never hatch,
Nor in hostility the hunted catch
And only kill to fill a hungry maw
In a highly held un-writ wildlife law:
Slay to survive or get slain if no match,
Knowing not else but do just as designed,
Unlike O men hunting’s thy pass-time game,
A trophy wall-mounted in flashy frame,
Purblind, heedless, ye alone hunt own kind
Thus, crowning thee as lord of death in shame
Ye write a tale of thy blood-be-soaked name.

Note: And I am tempted to add two more sonnet endings:
To call it sport that goes to fetch thy end
In slaying lives on whom thine own depend.
Till one day Earth twirls inverted thy claim,
And he who thought him hunter turneth game.

Rumple Stein has a terrifying
midnight warning for children
who look for a late- night snack.
Deep within the woods
where the old shadows grow,
Rumple Stein whispers a secret
you must know.
"Never sneak a cookie when
the midnight bell tolls,
For that is the hour when the
beast truly strolls."
His voice is like gravel, his
eyes gleam with spite,
Warning little children of the
terrors in the night.
"The Cookie Monster waits in
the dark, cold and grim,
If you steal a treat, you will
surely meet him."
A shadow will stretch out
across the kitchen floor,
As a blue furry claw softly
pushes the door.
He won't want a wafer, a chip,
or a chew,
Instead, the fierce beast will
come hunting for you!
Your bones will be crumbled
like a dry chocolate chip,
As he catches your sleeve in
his terrible grip.
With a terrifying growl from his
bottomless cup,
The hungry blue gobbler will
swallow you up!
So lock up the cookie jar when the
clock strikes the hour,
Before you are trapped in the
monster's grim power.
No crumbs will remain where
you stood on the floor,
And the kitchen will stay silent
forevermore.
BEWARE THE HEART
Beware the heart that comes with ease,
insisting on one's life.
'Tis beauty and grace adorned in lace
that cuts you like a knife.
The one that runs, and hides the heart,
doth play deceptive games.
forever chasing emptiness,
devoid of any shame.
The melancholy broken heart's
perpetual self doubt.
A casualty of rejection.
Her purple heart bleeds out.
The hardened heart knows not of love,
'twas long since left behind.
Be it taken or forsaken,
'tis not upon her mind.
'Tis open heart, without a plan,
whose love keeps not the score.
Her heart doth share, with depth and care.
This love be ever more.
Future fakes are everywhere, they are contacting us from afar.
Future fakes want our all, our life, our money, our names, and more.
Future fakes, are tricky, they can steal your life, your money, your name, maybe even steal your face with a mask.
Fakes are people, that are working night and day, to steal your everything and make you sad.
Fakes are haters, haters of truth, of life, of all the things that are right.
Fakes are working to destroy, to make your life a living hell, like a storm that brews, they work and work to create a storm that will be like hell.
Fakes are everywhere, they try to make you a slave, to harm you and make you live a life of shame.
Fakes are people who like chaos they use their time and energy to make a mess, they like to divide, to spread hate, to cause fear, and make you never sleep.
Fakes are about so beware, and take care, be slow to trust, and move like a mouse, slow and cautious all through your life.
We ask God today to remove all the evil, the fakes, the ones that want to harm us, to let them go and live their way, far and far away from all of us.
Lifting prayers to God, today and always.

Safe keeping's vision
General's, shepherd's in close range
Pressed round horizon!
"Retreat!" The call goes out.
Each, 'at ease', 'lolling'
Inescapably overwhelmed.
Ere caves holed up in.
Beware complacency!
Skyline we all share.
Time's; in what fateful looms up.
Less for can prepare!
Concealing a dagger's not legit
even if not intending to use it

Marley Manor Mansion has a reputation that is not good
Most of us avoid it, though we are tough; we live in the hood
It is down a long driveway, with overgrowth not often seen.
We avoid it like a pandemic, especially on Halloween.
One old lady got lost last year and had a horror story to tell.
The ghostly entities there looked like they crawled out of hell
Her relatives figured she had dementia and put her into a home
But today I drove by and saw seven prowling ghouls on the roam.

Love words, show we care, they make our mind feel like we are floating on air.
Love words, give us calm, they make our heart beat like a charm.
Love words, are so sweet, they taste like a sweet ice cream.
Love words, are like a contract, they make us want to sign on the line.
Love words, are powerful, they make us take actions and behave in a certain kind of way.
Love words, can be deceptive, they can make us do things that can lead us to death.
Love words can change our behavior, we can take actions like we are under a love spell.
Love words can be dangerous, they can make us feel like we lost our mind.
So be aware and take care, go slow, and beware, love words can feel good, but they can also lead us to negative outcomes and negative behaviors.
Lifting prayers to God, today and always.
Beware the Cheshire cat
whose advice is here or there
and says there are just two paths -
again I say beware.
Carroll had it right
as he wrote behind that grin:
Alice could also stay put
or go back to her begin.
She ate the cake to grow big
and drank potion to be small,
yet there was always the third way -
not to eat or drink at all.
Beyond the looking glass
and down the rabbit hole,
a heartless queen asks questions -
any answer and heads roll.
Watch out for false dichotomy
and the choice that does not matter
or you’ll be writing on a raven's desk
to answer the Mad Hatter.

Beware of Colors
It was about these flowers, you see,
Blue is a favourite colour for many; they don`t
realise this colour can bring on melancholy
The flowers with long stems were in a vase
day- fresh with dewdrops sprinkled on
Their leaf, how beautiful, isn’t a goat that would not hesitate.
Tomorrow, the flowers will still be blue after
Seven people committed suicide, and a blind
The man could feel their suffering paleness.
Tired of funerals, she paints the bloom
deep red, and a war broke out in Sudan.
On the third day, the flowers, now ashen grey
in the vase were dumped in a heap at
Beware of the monsters inside of your head
Their plotting and scheming on how you'll be dead
They twist and they turn every innocent dream
In a way to bring nightmares that will make you scream
You'll beg for forgiveness and wish to wake up
As the night turns to daylight they'll try to make up
To make you believe you have nothing to fear
Until they return when midnights draw near
Now they come in the daytime and mess with your mind
You question your senses and those of your kind
But when will they stop, you so long to know
Once you are ready they'll start to go
They'll slowly retreat with the strength in you growing
Their power diminished with the more you are knowing
But don't be complacent, for they will return
To teach you the lessons of all you should learn
The weakness inside is rearing its head
The monsters are lurking still under your bed
Beware of the monsters, the monsters beware
For taking one's life would be so unfair
