Villanelle : Bequeath not an image which is not wholly your own

Bequeath not an image which is not wholly your own
No not all the tasters of Isphaha can patch it back whole
Living did you your true voice with packs of lies loan

Poetasters all to echolalia Babel be haunted gone
Where words will sour and curdle in a soup bowl
Bequeath not an image which isn’t wholly your own

No patchy poet’s torn image can verily be sewn
Whose poems cannot own up to an innate soul
Living did you your true voice with packs of lies loan

Who says poets are not to the calling be yet re-born
Which mewling mumbler hacked his way to the goal
Bequeath not an image which isn’t wholly your own

The easiest persona is still the begetter of the poem
Words strung in any old order fit well into any old hole
Living did you your true voice with packs of lies loan

No treasure equal to a people’s spirit anyone disown
The fearless voices of a people’s pain the world console
Bequeath not an image which is not wholly your own
Living did you your true voice with packs of lies loan

Not Wholly

"If blood could speak
    or souls would seek
         the meaning of it all"

^^^^^^

 spirits sinking low
 dancing on thick walls
 sipping shakes of liberty
 spewing out cat calls

 have we no integrity
 no common sense at all
to care just a little bit
for those gone down those halls

 halls of searing sacrifice
 lives 'spent' in highest hopes
 now... all too oft' forgotten
as we ride our shallow dreams

 ^^^^^^

"Blood does speak out
yet we have no ear to hear

 souls do seek...
 yet not
wholly"

"Son of man, thou dwellest in the midst of a rebellious house, which have eyes to see, and see not; they have ears to hear, and hear not: for they are a rebellious house."
 Ezekiel 12:2

Wholly Immersed

Your tender voice anointing my ears
the delectation of my spoken name
that look of adoration in your eyes,
speaks to me softly 'neath intensely lit moons,
    'midst subtly mesmerizing whispered passion
             lost in quintessential heart's surrender

Wholly Hers

I will not use heavy words on the vocabulary store
For what I want her to know
Is very simple and familiar to her
I want to tell her I love her
And I want to be wholly hers
To sparkle her life like the stars
To remain forever hers.

I want her to know will walk with her every path
My heart she is worth
will never show her my wrath
we will give birth
Live happily forever
part ways never
For I am wholly hers.

I want to let her know we will stick
whether healthy or sick
whether honey or dry
Till we die
we will remain without stain
For I am wholly Hers.

I want to tell her that she is indeed a queen
For I have been keen on what I have seen
In her I have seen perfect places to take my heart for a ride
In her I have seen No-man made beauty just the way she is
In her I have found laughter, joy and pleasure
In her I have found the courage to stand tall
And I am wholly hers.

Not Wholly As It Should Be

Not Wholly as it should be

O holy city set in gold
of thee both praise and woe are told.
To three faiths the troubled home,
we see the spire, the Wall. the Dome.
Where once did graze the kid and lamb
 I behold a traffic jam.
In Heaven's name, oh, tell us why
 property prices are sky-high.
O meeting point of East and West,
O thou at once most cursed and blessed,
 show less of your worst
 and more of your best.

Holy, Holey, Wholly

A righteous someone has helped me along the way to see the difference.
I was too self absorbed to notice and could not have cared less.
Over time that righteous someone who truly loves me has proven to be
the most precious thing in my life and a true gift from Jehovah .
Holy, Holy, Holy, is Jehovah the giver of precious gifts.

Wholly God

I know existence is eternity;
that it is fleeting is but a facade.
I know that life is more than what we see.
I know that altogether we are God.
I know that part cannot contain the whole:
In literal terms, one small grain of sand
cannot convey the Earth’s entire soul,
but still it’s true constituent of land.
The prayers inside my head I know are heard
but not by Someone hidden in a cloud;
a God outside myself just seems absurd.
We all are with Divinity endowed.
I don’t mean Deity’s just in our heads,
but God is like the Fabric; we’re the threads.

Stop Me and Wholly

This poem is just invented by me and i call it Topakallus.
The instruction are: You read it horizontal and vertical per each line.

Don't run thou love
Ever to love you
Stop me and wholly
Love, trust will match

Premium Member Writing Is Being

since writing is being,
who the hell am I,
measuring meter,
caring about perfect rhyme,
an attention seeker
trying to impress

writing is being
breathing
unreeling
unraveling
unearthing
seeing
hearing
smelling
touching
feeling
e.e.
        ("since feeling is first
         he who pays any attention
         to the syntax of things
will never wholly kiss you;") *

since writing is being
can I just
be
stop pretending
and wholly kiss
me
if I can't
how will I ever
wholly kiss you

* From "since feeling is first" by E.E. Cummings

The Wholly Scene

One thwarts the burn of troubled mires,
reserves Myself for My own lot.
The other bids I jump into the fire
and offer everything I’ve got.
One draws me up, the other down,
one draws me back, the other out,
one stays straight up, the other bows
one harbors faith, the other doubt….

But two make one, whom stands between
and can’t deny the Wholly scene…

War cannot separate a sunray from the sun,
nor its reflection from the moon,
nor shadow from the soul who’s been undone
by tribal fights and bleak communes.
It cannot separate the loyalty of sons
nor fire from living soul,
nor conscience caught in scrambled tongues
from balance of the Holy Whole…

‘Cause two make one but one must find
an equilibrium of two combined…

The Light is sewn above the man,
the man is sewn to shadows;
two sides opposed while each demand
we fight their valiant battles.
Each other they can’t comprehend
two strangers having never met
and in between a common friend,
my soul that owes to both a debt…

From two one seals a common ground
where ethic theorems stagger ‘round…

When two perspectives sway a choice
but all the answers seem awry;
I stir the passions into common voice
and Conscience finds a compromise
to split the gray of good and evil
with hues of individuality
and intercepts a grand upheaval
between the Dark and Luminosity…

Two segregated opposites confuse
but merged they find a single use…

Between the ether and the soil,
the Darkness and the Light;
I am conductive Human foil
receptive to both wrong and right.
A central universe between two inversed kin,
a medium between grim and divine,
a force of nature from the outside in,
a lone metropolis of Faith of my design…

Two clashing creeds and tongues commingled
fused and crafted into just a single.

My loyalties are not betrothed
to mortal shadows nor Elysian light
but morals I can live with and not loathe
Myself for imperfection’s slights.
My Self is sewn unto My Soul
My Soul is sewn unto the Source
no one can make me Love the Whole
and nature’s ever winding course…

And two make me one point between
the countless points that make a Wholly scene.

Willingly and Wholly

I know I told my heart I’d take this slow
But yet still, with him, it’s hard to not let the emotions overflow
I keep reminding myself to not to quickly should I let all my feelings, towards him, show
The funny thing is that, how I feel for him, he already knows
And I’m so scared that I may have to again, let him go
I’m sitting here in this room missing him with each and every beat of my heart
Knowing damn good and well he could very well tear it completely apart
I feel so deeply in my soul it’s never too late to try to make another and final start
I don’t know how much longer I can hold back the dam is about to flow wild
He is very much a man but has the heart of a child
So caring and tender, yet strong and stern
Committed and open, but sensitive and gets sometimes easily burned
I’m in love with every single fiber of his being
From inside to out, beauty is skin deep and always well worth seeing
His voice can and does command me
His eyes very much so controls me
He holds me in his arms the essence of him beholds me
When he kisses my lips, and then my body passion always consumes me
So tell me now, how do I keep telling my heart to go at this slowly?
When he’s the one I gave my heart and soul to willingly and wholly…

Premium Member WHOLLY STEPS WE CROSS ON HOLY GROUNDS we WALK NAKED UNCOVERED-

O' my love so the soles of our feet naked
We walk unto the dirt
Earthen flesh match we touch we live we march we walk

wholly steps we cross
on holy grounds we walk naked uncovered
Always
We are children of Our Father
Who told you you were naked
Always
O' my love so the soles of our feet naked
We walk unto the dirt
Earthen flesh match we touch we live we march we walk

wholly steps we cross
on holy grounds we walk naked uncovered
Always
Walk we on our soles naked as our spirit, hearts and vessel soul naked as well
O' to the Glory and Honor of God
Always

Finds a trip with

Adventure and gain

Distant from home..

Premium Member Holy-Wholly Glory Jesus Hallelujah-

 Although there is sunshine you yet Stand in the Rain;
It's soul unusual purposeful even in the pain;
There is a great among you from your belly you call out the name;
Holy-Wholly Glory Jesus Hallelujah

Impregnated with the peace the joy and love;
Harvest is plentiful time to pick the plentiful;
So alluring so adorning His Mercy for Grace;
I can see the gratitude and the salvation all over your face;
Holy-Wholly Glory Jesus Hallelujah
