Undying Love

This fast life of mine is dying
All you see is my lifeless body lying
Scarcely heaving my last breath
I knew it was coming, soon my own death
I had one last chance to say my peace
So that my loneliness would cease
I got to say on my last breath
Don't fear my love I have finished my quest
It was for undying love
One day you will fly with me as a white dove
A dove stands for eternity and that's what it shall be
For the next time we meet we will see each other clearly
Goodbye for now don't shed a tear
For one day soon I will be near

Premium Member Undying Question

A tin of chocolates
The sun slowly retreating
In beautiful flame

A glance in secret
The firm push of resolution
Butterflies dancing

Girlie smile
The light of welcome
At last --"Will you be mine?"

Undying Love-Tet

Oh,
My love…
Where hath thy,
Gone? In deeper,
Sorrows where slings, arrows, and swords are drawn…

For I will love thy ways forever still,
In foolish dreams…
Love doth spill,
Beyond…
Streams.

At eleven years old, by my Dad I was told
that I'd soon be enrolled, in a special Hebrew program

Try it for a year, my son, my dear
Do not fear: It'll be over before you know it

Hebrew you'll learn; for Torah you'll yearn
To God you will turn. You'll thank me for this in the long run

Well, my Dad was plain wrong. That year felt so long
It dragged and dragged along. Then, voila! It just ended

My Bar Mitzvah was good. I did my job like I should
Ate as much food as I could. And told my father I was quitting

My Dad was so sad. He felt I'd gone bad
Didn't care I was glad. Told me I'd made a mistake...

Years and years passed. My resolve didn't last
Just as my Dad had forecast. He'd been right all along

To God I had turned. For Torah I yearned
Hebrew I burned to relearn. But now I was sad

For Dad had passed away. His kindness unrepaid
At his gravesite I pray ~ that he accept my gratitude undying

I love you, I love you, I love you
What beautiful words to hear
A warm fuzzy feeling envelopes our soul
Words that always endear

True love is the reason we all exist
Travelling down life's bumpy road
Without love to guide us, we'd all be lost
Struggling with life's heavy load

Many times in life, love invades our soul
Each time it feels so intense
It's the warmest emotion we've ever felt
As deep as the ocean immense

Nothing has really ever felt any sweeter
In each dream I see her face
Just holding her sweet body close to mine
In a warm and loving embrace

I've loved this lady for many long years
It's as strong as it was at the start
Memories rush back to the very beginning
Back when she captured my heart

Another voice enters this information spectrum, omitting dictation unheard by anyone. Lost echoes repeating into thinned obscurity, forever unknown. But your words exist, some indefinitely; your original waves undulate through air from experience. Vocalize innermost thoughts offered by U.

Based on a poetry form created by David Williams: start by using a word beginning with 'A' then use a consonant, 'E' then a con., 'I' then a con., 'O' then a con., 'U' then a con.; repeat.

Many days may pass me by
but my love for you will never die

Although your love may not be true
I'll always have true love for you

My sad heart has lost its will to live
for to you my love I cannot give

Many days may pass me by
but my love for you will never die

Note: This is the first official poem I ever wrote.
I was 15 and it was at this time of year (1978).
I thought it would be fun to share it with you. Over
the years I have made a few grammatical changes
but it is essentially the same. Love, Robin

Premium Member Undying Persistence

Smitten by unrequited love,
rejection's rage grounds fledgling hearts.
And any chance of happiness
is lost before it even starts.

Denial comforts hopeful hearts
left in this vulnerable state.
For they cling tight to the false hope
that time might yet alter their fate.

Always waiting in the shadows;
they keep passion's flame concealed.
For exposed fantasy dreams die;
when secret wishes get revealed.

Secretly, their hearts feel empty,
like they were hollowed out inside.
And hidden tears swell up and spill,
no matter how many they've cried.

Desire and suppression have them
sliding down a slippery slope.
Yet, with undying persistence,
they desperately cling to hope.

Undying Love

For you I would drain the ocean blue
 fight it's fearsome monsters too
Sail a ship smashing stormy seas
buy the bank giving you the keys

For you I would slap a tiger in it's cage
dance bare naked upon a public stage
Knock mighty mountains down to gravel
 across barren deserts swiftly travel

For you I would totally change my life
cut my own throat with razor knife
Dive headfirst into a bottomless dark pit
do anything , anything but commit!

For you sweet baby, anything but commit!

Robert L. 05-28-2014

Travelled that road for 8 years as a young man between marriages...
Greatly fearing to commit because it meant opening my heart to
a possible future unbearable pain again. It took a miracle for me
to overcome and right on time 21 years later I got blind-sided again.
Live and learn...

Undying Love

Every river has its source but we tend to forget our very fountain
Aiming for the highest mountain
Causing a great disconnection
To our fountain he has given unlimited connection
To the throne of grace
But the rejection is written all over our face

He died for us before creation
Regardless of your colour race or nation
We deceive our selves that we continue in the part he left behind
But our LIFESTYLE shows that we never had his love in mind
Before we carry out an action he has already shown us his mercy
But our reaction towards his love makes everything messy

With our actions speech and thought we spit at his face
Insulting both him and his throne of grace
All he did was to bring salvation
For Gods most feared creation
Just to save us from eternal condemnation

We go to church and make noises
Deceiving ourselves that we are singing praises
It is not compulsory you give your life to him
When you do your life becomes a film
Making him the director and producer
All you need to be is the major character

Many of prefer to bow rather than burn unlike Shedrach Meshach and Abednego
Giving names to sin pretending they are not the same just because we don’t want to let go
When we lie we say its diplomacy
Forgetting that God was never in support of democracy
We take God for granted
Rejecting the word he planted
Just for nothing but uttermost vanity
Due to nothing but our act of cruelty

Undying Love

With every last breath
With every last murmur
Before I close my eyes
I shall be always grateful for you!

This Undying Wish

I wish I could understand why he cannot not weep
Every minute, every hour, every single day.
Then maybe I could finally get some sleep.

Life might be a slippery slope. But not so steep
One would be forced to look away.
I wish I could understand why he cannot not weep.

Does he now remember all the promises he did not keep?
If only he would stop apologizing today,
Then maybe I could finally get some sleep.

Dear Lord, the most merciful, let him not sink too deep.
Though I only have these words to pray,
I wish I could understand why he cannot not weep.

I hope one day some consciousness would seep
Or he would run out of guilt to pay.
Then maybe I could finally get some sleep.

Will he stop such an act so juvenile and cheap?
Did he not know I could not forever stay?
I wish I could understand why he cannot not weep.
Then maybe I could finally get some sleep.

Undying Serpentine

In many country and many tale,
the almighty serpent, a legend regale.
From east to west, the myth would thrive
in many forms, above the clouds, the creature would dive.
Many are monsters and heralds of doom,
in their mountainous lairs, the reptile would loom.
Others are wise and more docile instead,
Hoarders of knowledge and books unread.
Capable of flight and fiery rain,
Upon the wind, strong wings of twain.
Their hides are stronger than most things can pierce,
Crafty and voracious and no less fierce.
Auspicious is the dragon from china, it hails.
With flooding and rainfall, it shimmers it's scales.
Godly is the Japanese dragon, rulers of the sea,
Spiritual and worshiped by the people esprit.
The dragon of England, a tale long told,
A symbol of the kingdom, the Wyvern lives bold.
Many can be said and described diverse,
With stories of thousands with blessing and curse.
Extinct or missing, from modern eyes this day,
Yet undying in our stories, the immortal dragon will stay.

My Undying Love For You -Christen Kuikoua

I want you in my life
for today, tomorrow and forever.
Everything feels empty
when you are not around,
but our love is what keeps me going.
Nothing can explain fully how fortunate I am
to have you in my life.
For Loving you has become a must for me
It is no longer a choice or and option.
If there’s one thing
in this world
I’m afraid to lose, it’s you.
I am so in love with you
that I can’t dare to lose you!
I wish to be everything.
that brings a smile on your face
and happiness to your heart
I dream of a world where you and I
would live for a thousand years to love each other.
Though I Know I wouldn’t Live to be a thousand
I Will Never Let You Be a Foreigner In My Midst.
