I sit with trees around me, green.
The ocean’s in the distance, teal.
A ladybug I’d first not seen
is climbing down to my left heel!
From somewhere in the azure sky
comes gliding down a dragonfly!

To me she is a fairy queen.
My pleasure I cannot conceal
in viewing wings of bright blue sheen.
Birds sing, and I can’t help but feel
with life in tune
this afternoon.

Max is mad at Molly
Samantha’s sore at Seth
Freida’s freaking out at Frodo
While Hobbits hold their breath

Jack jokes about poor Jill
She hits him with her pail
Humpty cracks open Dumpty
For drinking all his ale

Mickey Mouse and Minnie
They both make quite a scene
Playful Pluto gave her paw
and stroked her jumping bean

Rub is furious with Dub Dub
She has another man in his tub
His bubble has been bursted
So he scrubs Dub with a club

Cats in cradles cows and moons
Forks running away with spoons
Coyote catches the Road Runner
In the end we’re all Looney Tunes

Nothing makes us happy
Sticks and stones me oh my
Kryptonic grade destruction
Broken Superman can’t fly

The Beatles Battled Yoko Ono
Because she broke up the band
They sang ‘Give Peace a Chance”
a dream they didn’t understand

So I walk down to the River
John the Baptist please begin
Separate me from human nature
Cause I’m tired of our sin

Weary of heartfelt kindness,
on rugged slopes,
Charming and brilliant,
will fall back into darkness.
Yet they suit rose and oak,
I survive,
Mates and minds meet on Earth,
Mingle with subdued dust,
Few opinions or facts,
Slurries, or rules, are vestiges,
yet the finest has vanished,
An aversion to caring hearts,
Amidst rugged scenery,
Charming and well-versed
Shall revert to oblivion,
Dot with ivy and blooms
I endure unblemished
Soar into space, mates, and sages,
Mortar and grime
Low empathy or moral venture,
yet the finest has faded away.

Beneath a veil of dense foliage,
I'm back to my ethereal abode
peaceful midst of rustling woods
My worldly life is over,
The cacophony drove me
loudness, delight, and pain,
faded into timeless quiet
I am at ease
Dancing across your mind and heart,
infusing your soul with tender views
Grief will lessen in-depth agony,
At sunset, daylight will wane
I'm here.
I can be felt as you cross this place,
Feel the soft breeze on your skin
sun-dappled woodland floor,
high-up branches whisper,
I'm everywhere
I've returned home,
My clay-creating plug-ins
Earth blessed me with an idyllic life,
has brought me back in,
To adore her radiance,
Under my leafy shade
It is my place of peace,
I'm home.

Looking divine a picture goddess
jewels crowning gems sparkling magic
shining beautiful moon princess dazzling light

At a regal glance priceless cut, shines out diamond
silver ivory full face over and back
we dance into the milky way to paradise

In silver shadows we kiss holding sweetly our love
our souls sparkle together amazing dreams shine
this picture forever lives in the mind one treasure

Most adoring of all queens gracious
sweetheart I pray soon one day we will always
be together all I ever want to do deeply

Is make you smile embraced with happiness
its dark here alone shining in all dreams
Light of a thousand stars halo shine around you babe

Silken ribbons whisper tenderly soft
in every thought a warm breeze sails
Silently this boat to you on golden waves

Only if you wish darling
one in a thousand dreams that come true
you're the sweet night in gale singing inside always now in your tune

Premium Member Aloft a Tune of Yesterday

Moody Blues is playing through my speakers

                                    And my mind

A gentle tune of yesterday that feels so

                                       Very kind

                          Tuesday afternoon, a fairyland

                                         of awe

                      Plays scenes of yesters' visions

                            From youthful dreams

                                          I saw

I close my eyes, time drifts away

                                    Aloft a tune,

                                    of yesterday

When the wind blows hard, sometimes it takes possessions from you, but all of a sudden It stops and everything can be replaced.

When the sun burns for longtime, the drought ruins your crops, it takes part of you, but all of a sudden it rains and everything can be harvested again.

When you walked towards me,
you got deep into to my heart.
You made many promises,
you became my everything,
and all of a sudden you left,
maybe my heart will heal, but there will always be a scar.

Sometimes the snow falls when the trees are blooming and the birds have already made their nests. The flowers will wither before their time and the birds, confused, will cry.

The things you do everyday,
the small amount of stones
you put in a wall, it will make big changes for tomorrow.
Your behaviour towards others, your words of compassion, your loyalty, your empathy, your kindness and the warmth that you give without asking for anything in return, will drive away any anger that you may feel, and will strengthen your feelings and your soul.

Your religion is nothing but the way you act. Your temple is nothing but your own body.
You will find your peace when your mind, your heart and the path you walk are in tune.

The Tune of My Heart

Beyond prevailing heart songs
I yielded to fashion a tune of wonder
pulses and beats that do not belong.
I pondered over and over
decoding layers of mystery
a speck of awe within is reached.
I roved about along the fields
expanding beauty nurturing my touch
a rush of melodious breeze flooded my fancy.
Deep into a distinct essence
gorgeous voices started resonating
one secret is leaked!
Hills and mountains carved my air
what a flair!
I drifted out to the lake
lost for words in my world
I reached for a sip
an aura of magic wrapped my core
brimful, but wanted more.
Wide my heart
I leafed through abundance of scenic allure
Supreme fascination beheld!
A puff of relish is breathed
my tune of wonder is conceived!

Premium Member Dance To Her Tune

The daylight doesn't seem as bright as before,
as if the sun is fast fading away.
And gathering grey clouds fuel rains that pour:
sending kids scurrying inside to play.

Autumn's pretentious colors fade from sight,
until no trace remains; their beauty brief.
And short days relinquish their length to Night,
the trees stripped naked, not a single leaf.

The honking geese have all migrated south,
along with most of our precious songbirds.
And, daunting rumors, spread by word of mouth:
whisper Winter's here in so many words.

Winter's wailing winds will start whistling soon,
and we all must learn to dance to Her tune.

A Summer Tune

Reminded of a summer tune
I heard one summer’s day in June
so long ago when life was raw
and fresh eyes saw the things I saw

I sat and pondered life and time
and echoes of a life sublime
I played that tune and journeyed back
and listened to my own soundtrack

The song evoked a sun filled sky
as all the clouds had waved goodbye
the sand was hot, my feet on fire
an ice cold beer was my desire

A Juke Box lured with satin sounds
so I began to make my rounds
I crossed the boardwalk, ushered in
and let that velvet night begin

The ocean’s memories still hold
a wealth of stories yet untold
but to this day, that song I hear
recalls the sand and sun and beer

Water droplets become liquid pearls, delicately balanced on milky white petals
Crowning gems sparkling jewels mist under lashes gleam

The beautiful white yellow sunlight all visible wavelengths of light refraction
Fluttering a rainbow promise under the bridge colors bright

The goddess of fertility, wealth and comfort her name Dana-Ana
A crowning beauty sings whom stands in every dream

Sitting on deep rocks a treasure who combs every feeling
Sea cradled her and she heard Neptune whisper .... so beautiful you are

With golden glowing fingers of emotions held captivated in her rays
Filled with warm love when evening shadows and stars turns out in the sky

A Tune Out of Line

Dim the lights low and let me dance,
To the memory of you engraved in my brain.
As they lowered you to your palace with a timing,
My whole being, drained.

Mentally, emotionally, physically,
You tore.
Yet you gave everything up willing,
I couldn’t bother to ask for more.

A twirl for the laughs,
A sashay for the tears.
Don’t brighten the lights just yet,
I’m still mourning for my dear.

Sway, sway, sway through the room,
The drums in beat to your beatings,
The piano, o! The piano,
In tune with your teachings.

A tune for a dance that has been meticulously practiced,
And, as repulsive as it may sound, I HAVE dreamt of dancing to this tune before.
Before,
You were lowered.
Before, criers of the spheres arrived.
Before, all else.
Before our reality has turned into nothing but a memory that I now sway to.

Therefore…

Dim the lights low and let me dance,
Let me wallow,
Let me die slowly inside,
Let me twirl till my heart’s content,
Let me rejoice for the greater good,
To the memory of you engraved in my brain.
As they lowered you to your palace with a timing,
My whole being, drained.

Premium Member I'M Never Wrong - a Country Tune For Donald Trump

Well I got some big hair
Sittin' on my big head
Got a big wife
Sleepin' in my big bed -
Got a big reason
For singin' this song -
It's great to be me,
'Cause I'm never wrong.

Gonna build a big wall
To keep them Mexicans out;
Gonna make 'em all pay
"Cause that's what I'm about
Gonna build it high,
Gonna build it long -
It's a good idea,
'Cause I'm never wrong.

You might think I'd care
When the facts don't match-
You might think I'd feel
There was some kinda catch -
But whatever you say,
Whatever you do;
If I say that it's so,
It just has to be true.

     I'm never wrong,
     I'm never wrong
     I'm never wrong
     I punish the weak
     Because I worship the strong
     And that's okay,
     'Cause I'm never wrong.

So I got my own plane
To fly over my crowd;
They like me brash,
They like me loud.
They all wanna believe
I'm gonna make 'em great
Though really I think
They're all second-rate.

So I tell 'em the things
I know they wanna hear;
I been tellin' these tales
Since this time last year.
No need for the truth
Or humility -
Just so long as they hate
That gal Hilary.

You might think that I'd blanch
When they call me out,
Or even admit
To a moment of doubt -
But that just wouldn't be me,
Because it wouldn't seem strong;
It might suggest
That I could be wrong.

     I'm never wrong
     I'm never wrong
     I'm never wrong
     Gonna have to face Hilary
     Before very long -
     Then we'll all see
     If I'm ever wrong.

     Then we'll all see
     If I'm ever wrong.

Hummming a Tune - Lyric Contest

Snuggled cosily in a blanket of love
Eyes tightly shut, listening to above
Where the robin chirps his merry song
Guarding his garden from the throng
          I hummm a merry tune

Strings of violins pass through my mind
Mournfully and sad .....as if to remind
me of days of yore when love was great
How did that feeling turn to hate
           I hummm a soulful tune

Sun is setting here to shine elsewhere
Reminds me of how I still care
for life, for love ...it's music fills my soul
I close my eyes to slumber, to recall,
           hummming a sleepy tune

Play Me a Tune

 Play me a tune,sing me a song
Take me places where lone hearts belong.
Put your strong arms around my waist
Unveil the smile upon this face.

Make me belief in dreams long gone
Stay close to me till early dawn.
Show me the world, walks on the coast
Protect me from each noxious ghost.

Play me a tune,sing me a song
Take me places where lone hearts belong.
Put your strong arms around my waist
Unveil the smile upon this face.

Cover past scars with deep- pressed lips
Soak my dry river with just one kiss.
Build us a cabin with a mountain view
Shape up my night with thoughts of you.

Play me a tune,sing me a song
Take me places where lone hearts belong.
Put your strong arms around my waist
Unveil the smile upon this face.

Reach out for me like a gentle breeze
A Summer ripple in starlit seas.
A voice which soothes,A voice which heals
Whisper soft lullabies into my sleep.

Play me a tune, sing me a song
Take me places where lone hearts belong
Play me a tune,sing me a song
Take me places where two hearts belong.
