With Life In Tune

I sit with trees around me, green. The ocean’s in the distance, teal. A ladybug I’d first not seen is climbing down to my left heel! From somewhere in the azure sky comes gliding down a dragonfly! To me she is a fairy queen. My pleasure I cannot conceal in viewing wings of bright blue sheen. Birds sing, and I can’t help but feel with life in tune this afternoon.

Congratulations Andrea for this marvelous poem of yours. Read a marvelous book recently called Columbia, thought of you because you teach Spanish. It is about a Cuban family that runs the oldest restaurant in Tampa called the Columbia. Famous athletes attended, President John F Kennedy, Carol Burnett, many, many famous people and the book is about the restaurant and the wonderful people that ran it. It brought much joy to read. I read it in two days couldnt put it down. God bless you...
