Best Susurrate Poems
dusk
rains hope
perfumed to
quench crestfallen
roses as crickets
susurrate hymns
for a new
tuscan

Oh my regal Eucalyptus friend,
Your tall rainbow trunk is rooted deep,
Stationary, yet your tree tops bend
In constant unison with the wind.
My camera can’t capture your awesome sweep.
Thin limbs try to reach the azure sky
While your trunk fascinates passersby.
An army of ants reveals a platoon
Moving over bark to their marching tune.
Your small leaves sing in susurrate song,
A Queen amidst trees where you belong!

Please speak to me my lovely friend
With leaves stirred softly by the wind
Under enchanted autumn sky
Where your susurrate sounds drift by.
Sing soft melodies in choir
As leaves glow as if on fire.
I feel your abject dying pain
When wet and cold from chilling rain.
I remember spring at your birth,
How you brightened verdant earth.
And then in summer your soft shade
Where under your cool leaves I laid.
You always spoke or sang to me
While holding close your mother tree.
But now in autumn's silver sky
Soft spoken leaves whisper goodbye.

When Autumn comes, she saunters in.
paints asters blue and streaks the skies
magenta! When chill winds begin
to susurrate, we hear her sighs.
Wearing multi-colored dresses,
when Autumn comes, she saunters in,
capriciously shakes her tresses
and with bright leaves then loves to spin.
Cavorting with the clouds within
the summer-ending skies of blue,
when Autumn comes, she saunters in.
But soon the woodlands she glides through.
Not long will Autumn stay too calm.
October sees strange pumpkins grin -
not like her onset days of balm.
When Autumn comes, she saunters in.

Romance me with your flirty breeze,
Susurrate songs in leafy trees.
March winds you clash with tidal flows,
Keep waves in hindered highs and lows.
Your power paves a mockery
Of gentleness I long to see.
Won't you return our springtime bliss
Caressing cheeks with tender kiss?
Don't make meek martyrs of the trees
When you uproot them as you please.
Training tornados torrid path
In tempest tears you display wrath,
When all along I know you hold
A sacred spirit of the bold.
So beguile me with tender touch
With wind songs that I love so much,
And I will be your maiden fair;
You may finger my golden hair.
On through autumn our love will grow,
With wayward windy hearts aglow.

AUTUMN AT THE HEART
She’s a world has gotten drowsy
Evolving face of autumn
Like gold then scarlet amber
Like blood from beetle vein
At heart her core lacks action still
She has this sort of stadium swell
A far and muffled roar on susurrate air
Which brings her round again
Her essence lay at kindred depth
At oneness with the fertile Earth
Where roiling life all seasons sways
She bows to nature’s royal domain

Let my eyes celebrate the changing hues
When canopies display their lovely blends,
While leaves transform, embracing vivid views
Let colored leaves fly in fresh autumn winds.
As sweet summer's season slowly transcends
There's glory seen in a crimson sunrise.
Susurrate sounds make music in cool skies.
Steps hold cinnamon leaves in amber light
As days pass, in umber shades, they lay dead.
Pumpkin patches of fire welcome night
As Luna rises putting them to bed.
With silver clouds in lapis skies she's wed.
Harvesting seasoned saffron at its height,
Its ginger strands are part of fall's delight.

Aesthetic Autumn
Oh scarlet sunset your red hue,
Vermilion shades with crimson too,
Match my favorite season's shades
O'er woodlands and bright gilded glades
Trees claim rust, orange, brown and gold,
What a stunning sight to behold!
Soft rain combined with wayward wind
Refreshes trees as drops descend.
As dancing, twirling leaves depart
Their susurrate song stills my heart.

Ethereal Bliss
Your long pretty limbs and shapely trunk defy
Rings, occult within, unseen by the naked eye.
Rooted as saplings we've grown tall, you and I.
Bending in strong winds in chaos we try
To feel a calming peace from our sunset sky.
Like my car's engine, the gasoline you require
Revs your classy motor with love to aspire.
A premium fillup adds sweet fuel to your desire,
Then you make that purring sound I so admire.
Like melting snow with the heat of your heart
You melt me, then drown me in love's divine art,
A destiny sanctified right from the start.
As a shooting star blazes through outer space,
I see it's soft shimmering light on your face.
Rose petal soft lips share a sensuous kiss.
Entranced by the sight of the moon rising high
While leaves play a susurrate song in choir,
A drum shares its tune as my heart plays its part.
My shoes and her heels dance with such grace
Assuaging my awareness of ethereal bliss.

Charms of Nature
Noontide cordial sun immerse golden spheres
Birch and aspen leaves rhythmically quake
Susurrate deep in quietness appears
Timidly on soft earth shadow path wake
There, where nesting birds await safely perch,
While conceal sweet are their audible waft.
Cool breeze twine spider's web and bees who search
Stunning unadorned simple-ness echoes soft.
Lone senior British oak outstretch thick arm
Grasp weathered fraying pendulous tire swing;
Mid saffron blaze whilst it mingles off charm
Espy hushed cries for mortal yielding wings.
Lush meadow pigments an emerald green
Self quenching natures pulsing rapture scene.

The beach at Orca Praia – Funchal Madeira
The powerful deep blue ocean
Expends its tidal force
Pounding down upon sea pebbles
With thud and smash so coarse
Watching from a vantage point
From the horizon to the shore
The lines of sea swell building up
Growing bigger more and more
Low, rumbling ocean rollers
Waves curling with such symmetry
Then the breakers quickly form and crash
Tossing up a plume of spray of sea
Incessant surf on shingle
Swash, swoosh and susurrate
With that endless marine motion
That will never dissipate
The waves break up and flatten
The tidal rush now gone
As the pebbles roll and rattle
Against each other as they tumble on
The roller spent, the wave now dead
Or that is what it seems
Then the backwash slithers downwards
Sluicing pebbles like big grey beans
The unending flow and ebb of tide
Today a calm but restless sea
Incessant waves wash and whoosh
So soothing it can be
But at other times she’s not so kind
Or benign to beach or land
Dashes disastrous desolation
With a fury on rock or sand
But for now I stand and wonder
At Mother Nature’s gentle reach
And watch and taste and listen
To the ocean on that basalt beach

Silence in thoughts
Has echo
Where sounds
Of universe
To me sends her ego
I listen the cry of Mars planet
And the call of Jupiter
For the sun
As his redo
Susurrate of Venus
Not far
In- to- go
Silence's talk in a peace
In ritual
Of globe
