Notes About The Poem

Autumn Royal

Let my eyes celebrate the changing hues 
When canopies display their lovely blends, 
While leaves transform, embracing vivid views 
Let colored leaves fly in fresh autumn winds. 
As sweet summer's season slowly transcends 
There's glory seen in a crimson sunrise.
Susurrate sounds make music in cool skies.

Steps hold cinnamon leaves in amber light 
As days pass, in umber shades, they lay dead. 
Pumpkin patches of fire welcome night 
As Luna rises putting them to bed. 
With silver clouds in lapis skies she's wed. 
Harvesting seasoned saffron at its height, 
Its ginger strands are part of fall's delight.

I found out that I have degeneration in a disc from age and arthritis and just have to live with the pain. I do what I can. We all have our health issues as we age. I am pretty healthy other than having to deal with arthritis. I feel fortunate. I am so glad you like this. I hope the sponsor will too. This may be the first rhyme Royal I have ever written. : )
