"If someone listens, or stretches out a hand, or whispers a word of encouragement, or attempts to understand a lonely person,
extraordinary things begin to happen."
~Loretta Girzartis
----------------------
reminiscing reasons
ruminating rhyme
pondering reality
recalling thoughts sublime

never-ending pain
unremitting sorrow
evoking one recurring theme
a farewell to tomorrow

exhausted from the hunger
disabled by the thirst
consumed by each and every loss
will ‘better’ make things worse

thoughts embracing 'freedom'
dissipating pain
awaiting the tranquility
after so much rain
----------------------

"I have learned now that while those who speak about one's miseries
usually hurt, those who keep silence hurt more."
~C. S. Lewis

"Burden" (Lyrics)

Let me carry your burden
If something’s not right I will let you know
Like the paint that’s drying on a heart that’s broke

Let me carry your burden
Get you back on a high when you’re feeling low
When the weight’s too heavy but you won’t let go

Come to me my brother and I will sit with you awhile
Pretty soon I’ll see you smile
And you know you will
No matter how much you're hurting right now
You know that everything will change in time
So let me carry your burden

Let me carry your burden
When your might’s on fire but your mind is cold
And you’re fanning flames that won’t keep you warm

Come to me my brother and I will sit with you awhile
Pretty soon I’ll see you smile
And you know you will
No matter how much you're hurting right now
You know that everything will change in time
Let me carry your burden, O brother mine

Let me carry your burden
Come tomorrow you’ll be right as rain
It’ll quench your fire
Wash away your stains

Come to me my brother and I will sit with you awhile
Pretty soon I’ll see you smile
And you know you will
No matter how much you're hurting right now
You know that everything will change in time

Oh I just might see it in another light
Got no dog here in the fight
I could carry your burden
O brother mine

Spiraling Flow

Stuck inside of a nightmare
lookin' like I might just slight tear
myself from the light there right
barely a knife couldn't share me a slice of the right hare
even if I slice up the bright hair
this rave is still goin' downhill
now will they break away the paint on the brain?
how will they shake the pain?
bow down, to the great
the main reason MrLee awaits mystery
a maze missing me, amazed history
amazing, believe me, relieve me
I need relief to be easy, not so cheesy
Halloween-e, how'd you see me?
it's because the age blistering me
withering me, slithering
to literally killing the literacy
that liberates the chemistry
within the matrix, the realer traces
hearin' say **** with a blade in my clenched fist
for the mistress makin' my breakfast
takin' my senses
breakin' the benches
remaining a mention to sayin' the restless
I rest less, but the best don't sow that much on the mattress
get a match that's gonna match up
get the cash that's gonna stack up
like you're packed up full of mad guns
automatic, automated better on the fantasy adding the Adam, Eve
every ladder we ever thought about climbin'
how about dyin', lyin' for tight things
making what's left just sound bad for the right things
the writings, I write these
don't fight me, I fight free and fiesty
like fireflies in a firefight
gun's and knives, some'll bite
some'll try to like me
other's will be like me
mother's want to rise me
brothers want to raise me
take me to a paradise, sea in paradox
where it stops sharin' all of my careless thoughts
careless pot to grow the pear
this brain to rot what's even there
I might be a demon or a semen
either way, a difference would make a difference
in inference, I interfere with interest
to fit inside this little chest of simpleness

Spiraling Down

She is on a path, spiraling down, down, down
I feel the need to save her, but it's impossible, I've found
An alcoholic with a drink, is never a good sign
But as she would say, it's her life, not mine
Her words, like poison running through my veins
Schizophrenic actions, constantly changing lanes
The only company she keeps is those suffering the same disease
Doors slammed in my face, despite my many plea's
Ignorance would be my only saving grace
She could paint a pretty picture to hold before my face
It's too late, I'm afraid, to play dumb in deceit
My opinions have been exposed, an unchangeable concrete
It's easy for others to tell me that I must let her be grown
They don't understand, she can't make it on her own
I have always been near, arms open and prepared
On the edge of my seat, waiting and scared
That pending phone call that would shatter me inside
The worst possible destination for this agonizing ride
Where will it leave me!? If that tragedy transpires
Consumed with sadness and guilt, my existence on fire
So what shall I do, I want the right damn answer
What will save her and I from an ending of disaster
She is on a path, spiraling down, down, down
Our heads are barely afloat, a matter of time till we drown

Spiraling Stardust Sight

Chasing clusters of dust and Venus vapid lust
We sailingly sway throughout the Milky Way
In a thrust, we land on a planet of candescent crust
And with dynamic display spiraling star dust spray

Jupiter and its moon Callisto a calamitous cocoon
With craters of ice, the shivering silence shall suffice
Off to Mars by noon on a botanical baronial balloon
It has paid the price with scars that scabrously splice

And lest we not forget Pluto a throwaway or asset
A tiny pinhole within the cosmic super galactic bowl
On the night we met the stars shining as we sweat
The love that you stole along with my heart and soul

All this on a spontaneous starry narcotising night
Within a spiraling stardust spraying sensuous sight.

Spiraling

The tree twists and turns
Spiraling
Up out and around

Spiraling Out of Control

Losing your mind
Things are getting out of control
Feeling as though you are no longer whole
Digging yourself a deep hole
Can't seem to take control
Loosing focus can't concentrate on the main goal
Running out of time, no self control
Feeling as though your mind is about to explode
No place to hide or offload
Things are getting to out of control
Find a place where you can be safe and whole
Before you lost the will to save your own soul

A Spiraling Mirage

The side of a notebook
The circling of a staircase

What happens from here?
Truth be told

I don't know
If it's in my control

Sometimes, feeling like it's losing its way
Then feeling like it found its place

Hard to determine if the other heart is in it
But still, yours refuses to quit

Better times maybe up next
Maybe you have to take the next step

I'm loving him and I am happy
But is the truth being told back to me?

May your gift expand like our spiraling universe
Being placed on paper, internet, or in the sand
Flung out amongst the stars to shine brightly
Touching on the heart and lives of many

When your cup has overflowed into the sauce
Of plenty may it flow onto the print and touch
On the lives of many
May your journey continue like the stars

Filled with blessings near and far
May your sauna be warm and moist
To relax the tension and inspiration thrust
May your days be filled with love

And your nights pieced with relaxing dreams
Until your quilt is fully finished and you
Sleep the sleep of the kings
Then your journey to other stars be fast

And very productive where you rule,
Reign, and kingdoms build that are magnificent
And splendid
Where all is joy, peace, and love forever in it

Spiraling Downward

Lieing i couldn't do
Cheating on you
Betraying your trust
Holding him tight
Kissing him passionatly
Feeling him slowly
Loving his features
Lusting after him
Lies that are told
Hurt in his voice
Anger at myself
Disappointment in my heart
Falling over myself
Tripping my way through life
Breaking my own heart
Kicking myself
Pushing you away
Ignoring everything about you
Away i want you
Gone for good
Forever with you

Professor Bridges and Senator Hawley
Had an exchange they both scored as a win.
One thought the other was being transphobic;
The other pushed back on supposed pregnant men.

I’m not here to argue one way or the other;
What I find appalling is both thought they won,
And all of their posturing, each for their bases
Has no effect, and convinces no one.

I think we are way past any reconciling.
The treaties are shredded; there’s no middle ground.
Where it’s all headed is hard to conceive of
But I get a strong sense we’re spiraling down.

Mental Health

Darkness upon darkness
Thoughts like a tornado
Hues of grey and black
Preparing for a mental attack

Spiraling out of control
Waiting to explode
Not knowing what the next day holds

Premium Member Spiraling Down Into the Garden Dismembered Paratroop Jumper

Plummeting down rascally Falls
Cowering tumbling forward swirls
Down falling down falling down
Powering Crescent trapped in the spiral graphic flaws
Falling plummeting down falling
Falling to the ground
I am forward bound
Caution yet read
By the following cut sounds
Sounds of the sparring Robins Twittering sparrows chirps
He's fallen
He's fallen and he can't get up
All Fall Down I to the beckoning Earth
While in the garden rabbits eat the raw Cabbage
Squirrels eat nibble scribble fluorescent Greenery treats
Why eat nuts
Something funny about this paratrooper
Aspiring meaning falling down into primatene space
What??
Heading toward the Earth
Plummeting down Falling Towards the hard ground
Plummeting down spiraling spinning out of control
Hollering struggling tumbling spinning he falls
What matters does matter as he decides to releases parachute
Don't be so disheartened Halo coming
Lying amongst the rabbits and squirrel in the garden
Is the aspiring falling dismembered parachute jumper

Spiraling Thoughts

So many thoughts in my mind,
only my Spirit can find

My soul is running a race,
I think I'm traveling in time

Our people dying so fast,
It seems nobody can last

How can the mourners rejoice,
if they're a sound with no voice

I hope to be a true light,
and only live for what's right

So all the people can see,
the way a leader should be

The only purpose of man,
is love and govern the land

But people love to go sin,
and do it over again

Until they look at the end,
and see there's no way to win.

Snowflakes Spiraling

A dreaming beam of light sighs knowingly
Teasing with cool pride and shining brightly
The blushing sky moans mercifully
Mum with quiet snowy strain
At the same time, moving gently in the quiet terrain
The wintry wind sings lightly in a chilly entertain
Stars twinkle through the darkness sight
And songbirds serenade into the night
The winter sun closes in sparkling color delight

Crystalline winter dances unhappily
To the heavens when night decays with quiet dignity
As God draws nature in artistic flurry tranquillity
Whilst cool new year winter dances mildly
Into the starlit night so sprightly
Too, snowflakes begin to fall wildly
And sparkle creates with wild abandonment
Rippling in passionate triumph and frowning intent
As our New England hamlet sleeps in silent ascent
