Emptiness seems paler,
Within the wind and the movements,
Echoes begin to creep in,
Without a beat, beyond the warnings,
The effervescence that once fueled my tools now sears my lungs,
Collecting old shadows I left to rest from once upon a time,
Colors are only a delicacy for monsters,
And the taints in my spine are drained by dementors,
Fallen for the light that seeps through the wooden blinds,
Convinced, maybe this time!
It’s only right,
The stars can be kind,
At times the sky speaks in tears,
While the storm strikes the pillars of my heart with fears,
Visions creating instruments out of casualties in my storms,
I wonder sometimes, how much combat is left in my bones,
Resist to insist for joy,
Yet every step feels like a bridge I destroy,
I’ve shown my skin and strengthened my pride,
My words have lost their loom through the valley of my tribe,
One day I hope I doze off and find some ease,
For I know, no limbs of mine can do what love can please.

In Space or Spaced Out
Bones grow feeble without gravity
This is a serious matter, not to be taken lightly
Blood fails to reach the brain
We must bear this in mind
Space cannot be navigated by the light headed
The semi conscious, on a journey with such a faint map
Think on this seriously, it is not a joke
Spaceships lost in the heavens is a hellish consequence
Sentient beings drifting half conscious is senseless
Concentrate your thoughts so that we do not scatter
Debris in the galaxies, cleverly made
And stupidly lost.

Blank verse
Vacuum of space surrounds his hold
as he leaves the fair Cappellan
Darkness without and bitter cold
he seeks the far Magellan
How far he travels in search of gold
wrinkles line his star tanned face
Shouting I AM the adventurer bold
no echos resound in space
Silence answers he is alone
darkness whispers its tragedy
the tanned faced turns to bone
an endless voyage on an endless sea.

Ballad
Our solar system is a single atom...
Atoms bind together to make up molecules
An infinite number of molecules make up our universe
Our universe combines with billions of other universes
and those combined universes are but a tiny piece of...
that pesky little flake of dandruff on my shoulder

Narrative
Big Bang exploded in my thoughts
Long before it was even taught
When everything was one and altogether
Before man’s dawn, divine space weather
The universe is One, are you one with it?
Inflation, spotted infra red - galactic
Radiating waves of infinite purpose
The light of love ripples, reaches us

Dramatic Monologue
Your devotion is the poison I trust
Passion burns with atomic thrust
The vacuum you left fills with rust
I hate how I miss you – it’s lust
This love for centuries lost
This is forever at last
The signal left my neurotransmitters
A thousand light years separates us
I boil in this cold distance
Imploding in your absence
I’m oil in this dark circumstance
Deprived of your life force
On a mission to your galaxy
To rekindle our lost intimacy
Girl, you know we gel in ecstasy
Gravity pulls me toward your chemistry
You’re the black hole to test my integrity
You’re the gene to extend my longevity
I’m absolute zero in this loneliness
Launched in-between time and space
So, you’ve heard about the other satellite
Well girl, she means nothing, just moonlight
You know nothing burns bright enough
To ignite the light you shine into my life

There once was a Vulcan named Spock
embarrassed when people would mock
his strange pointy ears
He would burst into tears...
until he had both of them cropped!
We all know a Captain named Kirk
It was well known that he was a jerk!
When the Enterprise docked
when he saw Mister Spock
he'd laugh at those chopped ears, that hurt!!
Each one of the Enterprise crew
felt that Spock's self-esteem was so blue
that they grabbed Captain Kirk
by his feet, like clockwork
and tossed from the spaceship he flew!!
Mister Spock's ears had finally healed through
He pierced each with earrings brand new
Captain Kirk in disgrace
Floats in deep outer space
What became of him?....nobody knew!!
All the evidence was quickly erased
Mutineers did not leave any trace
Although Kirk may be gone...
He lives now, in re-runs.
So you "Trekkies" can still see his face!!

Limerick
Why are u the only thing on my mind?
I'm trying to pay attention in geometry.
Why can't I be without u,
Without losing my sanity?
Why do I need u in my life?
Why must u be different than the rest?
I try to be happy on my own,
But your my biggest test!
Oh crap, Mr. G just asked me a question,
And I don’t know what to say!
I haven’t paid attention this class,
In fact I haven’t all day!
I was spaced out in geometry
And daydreamed through phys. ed
Now i'm supposed to answer #8
I need to start using my head.
I think the answer's 32
No, wait its 33.
When I answer everyone laughs
And I sink into my seat.
I’m not on the right question,
I’m not even on the right page!
Everyone is staring at me,
I feel like I’m on stage!
Should I sing a little song,
or break dance on the floor?
I look at the right question,
The answer's 64.
Thank God it's finally over,
Everyone looks away.
I look at the clock, and sigh in relief
Because there’s only 10 minutes left of the school day.
I blame this all on you
Because your always on my mind.
I can never concentrate
Cause I think of you all the time!

Coasting stately, effortlessly through the Sun's prominence becoming our magnificence. Without these bright badges, brilliant buttons, and dazzling décor of heavenly bodies as twinkling slogans advertising themselves on a black canvas, we'd be sailing alone amidst black seas of infinity. The boundless, endless, unlimited, unforgiving, exceedingly great nature and extent of outer space. Tantalizing us, provoking us, taunting us, frustrating us, tempting us, enticing us to step outside our fraction of a dot. We must take direct aim with our sight and strive to take flight far out into the uncharted black waters, that is our target. Our imagination is already waiting for us, beckoning us. It's only a matter of time before we find the necessary strand of knowledge and erupt into space. You say "impossible". But impossible says "I'm possible."

Prose Poetry
SPACED PROSE a phrasis
Time images, bold mosaics of
haphazard experiences.Tangled
senses expressed aloud in
intense series of sound.The
scales of time in elastic pulses,
spontaneous degrees of stress,
of thought and feeling, irregular
and unrhymed prose,of swing
and vim breathed phenomenas.

Verse
The rainy season arrives
Today we have a gloomy and surly weather
It makes me feel heavy and depressed
Spaced out
Fed up
Finally retreat to a confinement
To avoid being wet out
The bustle and hustle of the outside
Being blocked out
An inner self is left
I feel somewhat alone and lost
Am l really alone
Of course not
I then think of my loved ones
I then think of God
Who is ever ready to attend to us

Soon will come a day
when those devoted
to Him.... (the Alpha
and Omega, the True
Light, the Deliverer),
will just fly away.
No, not to take some
magical journey of our own.
But instead, to have Him
meet us in the clouds,
to take us to our real home.
This place ..... so different
it will be, a place we will
actually have to see to believe.
Exempt from rot and decay,
and we'll know everything
just as plain as day.
Devoid of heartache, conflict
angst,chaos, any kind of pain.
No more "going insane."
Serenity,oneness,complete
contentment is what we gain.
Oh yes, what a wonderful
day that will very soon be.
And oh the glee, when His
glorious face we finally see.

Chapter Seven: Spaced
Chapter Seven: Spaced
Cheph111 outward bound
liftoff ten minus none
The trip from the planet's surface was almost instantaneous the crew were
webbed in bunks and floating in gspaces the forces of revival of the engines
were enormous and mostly negative the Matron found religion the STOKKER lost
his luncheon and MarYlin was asleep she completely trusted in her equations
she was at rest and blessed while the charlax android one was thoroughly
awakened worry frowning from his brow beaten into countenance of hurry. The
hydrogen is faulty. The skipping beat of engines missing fuel is messing with my
sleep. The seal the damper seal that STOKKER messed.
Its causing the neutrons in the hydrogen to mutate making awful fate of the
engine seals we barley started this journey and now we have got to stop on
MARS to check all the engine seals and seal them up what grunge.
MIZ MIST has spaced.
I'm stopping at MARS she said almost angry the lisp was slipping toward the
middle of her mouth the food is weavily. They must have gotten past the seal? In
the constrainer department hall. The soup is not edible for anyone but the charlax
one.
I'm programming my laptop now to take us near Venus where the orbital
approachment to mars is computed to arrive in three minus none. STOKKER
looked at me thoughtful like.
Weevils' is meat he grinned an evil laugh. The Matron sighed for she likes ribs
and countryfried chicken steaks just dripping. MiZ Mist has spaced.

Gamma Ray Bursts from the edge of space.
Collapsing black holes, without a trace?
Exploding stars from near and far.
Just what's in this big cookie jar?
Comet's tails, as long as can be.
This is what makes up, you and me?
Giant gas planets, that are starting to glow.
Separate solar systems, for all to show?
The speed of light, gone in a flash.
Then back again, we're starting to crash?
Here we are, safe and sound.
It's our space, how profound?
God's out there, watching the show.
Can we see him? How should we know?
