Someday

Someday death we'll have to weather Earth no longer will us tether We will be light as a feather Rise together, rise together! Silently in the long dark night Jesus will call us to His great light Clothes we won't need for the last flight He's our delight, he's our delight Help me go with sense of wonder Let me not put my hope asunder Assured forgiven are life's blunders Lowered under, lowered under My spirit soars to the unknown Where Christ is seated on His throne As I look upon his damaged bone Finally known, finally known

Finally Known, It is good to know that someday we will know and understand everything. For many of us Someday will come sooner than others. We should always try to be ready at a moment's notice. A fine write my friend. God Bless and Merry Christmas, JB

The older I get, the less I fear. Earth feels very frightning to me. I think your use of repetition in each stanze is beautifully unique, thank you. Merci, Pangie

Karen, thank you for your kind review of my work. We just don't know how and when death will come which is the part that is of most concern. Sara K

Yes, this earth will not for ever 'tether us'. We have to surrender to the call of Death. But the thought that it is not the end but the beginning of a life eternal gives us the strength to face death. Your faith shines in every line.... dear Sara. Love this so much.

I appreciate the fact that you seem to be a believer, Valsa. If we don't meet in person here upon this earth, we should meet in heaven. Thanks for the visits. Sara K

Oh my, yes.. Death begins a renewed journey and one, that actually fulfills every hope of being blessed with His divine light.. Our spirits finally become known and all the secrets soar in the skies of truth.. Such a deeply philosophical poem, enriched with resonating emotions and wonderfully crafted words. I loveee this so much, sending you light, always :)
