Sonia Esmee Florence Butt ( work in progress )

The year 2014 comes to a close
Another unsung hero passed on, from a time long ago
Poets free to express our thoughts
Due to the bravery of Sonia D'Artrois

The day was may 28, 1944
A parachute and Sonia fell from the sky
Cropte, France, behind enemy lines
Her code name Madeleine, terrifying times

Explosives, and weapons, she understood
Training the Maquis to fight, in Charnie the forest hood
A woman who earned the respect of all around
For she was the leader of the underground

Great distances on Bicycle she would ride
Courier and messenger delivering supplies
Right in front of the Nazi eye
They never discovered this lady, Blanche the spy!

D'artois she met in the war in France
Explosions of love, this great romance
After D-Day, more explosions too
Many a Nazi was felled in his shoes

This British heroine when victory was assured
Across the sea to Canada she went
Married her lover
Met in danger, in the resistance of France

Notes Sonia d'Artois passed away on Dec 21, 2014 at the age of 90, a British woman who at a very young age joined the SOE ( Special Operations Executive ) She was parachuted behind enemy lines in France nine days before D-Day to lead a group in the french resistance (The Maquis) There she met a Canadian an officer in the Canadian army Guy d'Artois. They fell in love and later settled back in Montreal Canada.

Congratulation With My Eyedropps

A huge Congratulations
to everyone who passed
matriculation this year
but please don't congratulate
to me because I have no one
to happy hearing your sweet voices.

In the past years I was waiting
to hear some congratulations
from my parents but they are gone
some nine months ago
then I heard A BIG congratulation
from Allah that was everything
to me as my happiness is now
concealed forever.
Today I full filled their wishes
but I cannot mention how much
they would be happy.

When it realized me that my power
is slackened to do some things I opposited their rules so now
I got it's answer too, lol today
I am with you got some distinctions
But I cannot happy as you.

You now stronger than other
you must be a zealot any
time and where ever you will be.
Sharp your pencils remembering
to whom we lost in past months.
There may have so many smart
And stars who could build better
future than me .

To my brothers and sisters
Who's list did not show on
the result papers follow some rules

Take the name of Allah from the start
Don't lost your breathes
Don't lost your hopes
Be stronger than other
Be a header not follower
Remember the past .

Don'T Shoot

DEAR MR. OFFICER PLEASE DON'T SHOOT ME!
I HAVE SOMETHING VALUABLE TO SAY TO THE WORLD
SO KEEP YOUR BULLETS & DON'T TRY TO MUTE ME!
I COULD BE THE NEXT JOHNNY COCHRAN
OR THE NEXT BEN CARSON SEE,
DONT ATTACK,JUST BECAUSE IM BLACK
IM NOT APPROVED FOR GRAND LARCENY
I HAVE SOMETHING VERY VALUABLE TO CONTRIBUTE TO SOCIETY
SO PLEASE PUT YOUR GUN DOWN
AND PLEASE STOP EYEING ME
I GOT A POCKET FULL OF SKITTLES AND SOME ARIZONA ICE TEA
AND I MAY HAVE ON A HOODIE,BUT THAT'S JUST ME BEIN ME
WHAT IF I GET AN ITCH TO SHOOT YOU?
JUST FOR WEARIN COWBOY BOOTS?
OR FEEL THREATENED TO SHOOT
EVERY WHITE MAN I SEE IN A SUIT?
WHAT IS THE PROTICAL FOR HANDLING SOMEONE WHO IS UNARMED?
IF I AM NOT POSING A THREAT TO YOU
SHOULDN'T I BE LEFT UNHARMED?
DEAR MR. OFFICER,
WHY DO YOU HATE ME SO MUCH?
I THOUGHT WE WERE PAST THESE ISSUES
BUT SINCE WE'RE ON THIS TOPIC
WHAT'S THE RUSH?
YOU KNOW WHAT'S IT'S LIKE TO HAVE A FAMILY
THEY ALL NEED ME TOO
WHAT IF ALL THE STUFF YOU DID,
I TURNED AROUND AND DID TO YOU???
DON'T YOU KNOW GOD IS STILL WATCHIN?
DON'T YOU KNOW YOU STILL REAP WHAT YOU SOE?
IF YOU PLANTS SEEDS OF INJUSTICES
JUST WATCH WHAT IN TIME YOU'LL GROW
PLEASE STOP WITH YOUR FALSE ALLEGATIONS
PLEASE STOP TRYING TO BE THE ***** SLAYER HERO
AND JUST KNOW NO MATTER HOW MANY OF US U SHOOT
U WILL NEVER BE AT PEACE
UNTIL YOU FIX THE MAN IN THE MIRROR.

The Piper

One can't help but a feeling

With all our country men a leaving...

...and more migrants lining up
at customs door...

Latest figures polled this year
57,000 plus have left...

...in pursuit of work as there is no more...
and the piper seems little to"no care"

One can't but help but a feeling...

...with our melting pot a changing...

...looming question as to who we are
working for...

...Capitalism on the brink?

Our taxes for unpaid benefits?

...and more rising unemployment is in store...

as our working class is dwindling...

...Is this piper swindling?

One can't but ask the question...

Once known the land of milk and honey...
SOE flushed...

no longer funny...

Suggest to tax the paper boy...
surplus review without joy...

SOE to pay off deficit...
or the accruing unpaid benefits...

...and the migrants keep on filling
an empty space...

I'm not racist lets be clear...
but common sense has reared it's head.

One can't but ask the question...

Robbing Peter, to pay Paul...

Where else I ask you in the world...

can one arrive into a country...
claim refugee status and get paid...

...Lets divert all this attention...

Blame the solo mothers on a benefit...
not a mention about the fathers who help create...

One can't help but ask the question...

To the piper I will mention...

This recession has created great divide...

but the lesson to be learnt lets not skirt
round with words...

You are playing with peoples families
and their lives...

For the people that were born here...
...are more confused and disgruntled...

For the Piper has gone global world wide...

We want peace and harmony...
the right to drive our country's' economy...

...out of debt, and pay our tax
to those in need...

Not a hand out to the lazy...
who are wading in the gravy...

This is what our country stands
for and much more...

One can't help but ask the question...

Have we forgotten what's important...
and who we're really working for...

For our country men are leaving...

Left us penniless and a grieving...

For this question begs an answer...
in the shallows of joy and laughter...

is our deficit knocking on our front door?

Night and Fear

The rain was whispering
Like my grandmother
When I was little bay
Saying hey "Futu Weak up "
Then but all in silent right
I was one though in sight .

Dan! Dan! I heard a sound
Then I went out but nothing found ,
I think there may someone at ground
I called hey Mom! Weak up! Weak up!
Night was so deep but so no light
Then I got in Mom room
Where I was a clear bed I found
So scared me ! I tried to call my brothers
And sisters who were sleeping low floor.
But I couldn't, I was tied
with my mouth sound, I called hardly
But couldn't make a sound .

Where I Sit

I am not going to think about it ,
Can't do much from where I sit.
    Wasn't me that couldn't agree,
We know who it's so easy to see.
Won't say much to help you out,
It was your decision that's no doubt.
You've done no wrong I can hear you say,
Always the same with you every single day.
Telling me I am wrong and just no good,
I should have left you back when I could.
Now I am stuck so in love wit you,
And all you want is something new.
The evil and wickedness that you soe
Has touched just about everybody you kow.
Living the lie and playing the deceit,
Preying on the kind and gentle those who are weak.
The day will come when you will pay ,
For all those you hurt along your way.
It's not always good to come out on top ,
Especially when you see it's only you that you've got.
Live out your days alone , sick and afraid .
You just wouldn't listen to anything I'd say.
I am sorry my dear but this you did on your own,
It's your turn to suffer and you can never come home.
I'm not going to think about it,
Wouldn't do any good from where I sit.

Get Your Future Brighter

For my land Arkan,
The night almost over,
soon will come the dawn.

 Relinquish all your sorrow,
Pray to make it to tomorrow.

If you try to be one day wiser,
Your future will not get brighter.

Like the sun
will always rise again and again,
You must not forget your all pains.

Vacation Cumming

Vocate the cities
of holy structures
And leave for silence
and city scrulptures

To feel the pauses
of homes more flawed
When lost for leaving
are God's own cause

To see the world
of all it's worth
When lost for leaving
are children's birth

To all God's creatures
who know it well
When cost for leaving
are children's Hell

To on vacation
when you do go
To cumming quickly
for what you soe

And saying living
is doing well
When denying children
for what you Hell

When all that crime is last to view

For all that air we'd come between
their challing card to be
Wore on that mind they'd soe to us
where nalling pard should flee

When all that took what came to it
for aling what it be
Were all but faint in choosing word

Mom's Smile

In a bustling market, her presence known,
A fish monger, with strength she had sown.
Her hands were weathered, calloused, and strong,
She labored all day, where she belonged.

Amidst the fishy scent, her dreams took flight,
For her children's future, she'd fiercely fight.
A mother's love, a flame burning bright,
Igniting hope, banishing the night.

Neighborhoods whispered, tried to hold her back,
"Send your kids away," they urged an attack.
But she stood firm, defiance in her eyes,
"I'll break this cycle," she fiercely defies.

With unwavering resolve, she chose a different path,
Her teenage children, sent abroad, they'd find a better aftermath.
In distant Thailand, they toiled away,
While she held on, hope to guide her each day.

She refused to let poverty define her brood,
Educating her children, her mission pursued.
Through silent tears, her resolve never shook,
Her dreams of success, forever she'd look.

She wore her motherhood as a badge of pride,
For daring to dream, and pushing the tide.
With every fish sold, she'd cast away doubt,
Her love, an anchor, no storm could flout.

Years flew by, and her dreams came true,
Her offspring's graduation, a triumph anew.
A photograph framed, against her old basket,
Her tears now transformed into a steadfast smile.

Proudly she stands, a mother's victory,
Her children's achievements are a testament to see.
From poverty's grip, she broke the chain,
Her legacy is forever etched in a triumphant refrain.

In that market, she stands tall and strong,
A symbol of resilience, where she belongs.

Compromise

Life is full of oddities
Which can give it variety
And every now and then
Even cause soe anxiety
He was a man of character.
He trod his own path,
Kept his undies in the fridge
And his coal in the bath.
When she moved in she,d
Found that rather strange
But she hoped in time
She could help him change.
Her background after all
Wasn’t all that posh
She could just about manage
With her weekly strip wash.

And every other month
He’d clear a path from the door
As he shovelled all the coal
Onto to the bathroom floor,
And he very quickly learned
Rinsing the bath was a must
Otherwise her bath water was
Full of floating coal dust
And so they’d proceded amicably
Until things got a rather strained
She’d tripped on a lump of coal,
One ankle being badly sprained.
But, theres always compromise
If you’re willing and you”re able
And he started storing the coal
Under their kitchen table.

He found it rather strange
That she now bathed every day
But finally accepted that
It was her own peculiar way
And he so very quickly went,
And changed his own attitude
When night after night, after night
She eagerly displayed her gratitude.
Thus they progressd to
A happy happy life
And very soon after he
Took her to be his wife.
The moral of this little tale
You can walk your own path
But if you want to please your bird
Dont keep your coal in the bath.
