Our elbows collided,
'cause my desk is wrong-sided.
Made for a lefty,
When I write
with my right.
Requiem
The map to Requiem
Is often long, confused, and composed
By differing charters...Also
Too layered to sort. So many movements!
Even the very shortest of lives
Could story a magnum opus
When tracked to its core.
A Requiem for one elderly
Could fill an orchestra’s entire concert
Season of song!
The roads to a Requiem
Course singularly in God’s memory,
Fully in the graces of his harmony.

***Thank be to God!
Broken promises
Makes noose
feels regret

Wayhayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!
I don't mind being alone, as long as You are always with me.

for the shortest while, eternal,
as an enigma
of the epitome
of quiet beauty...
dewy, white petals
as its oblation,
its gratitude,
its prayer...
as it beams and blooms,
as it worships the sky - -
sampaguita, fragrant,
eternal, for the shortest while.
Strange but true…even
After… all these years that I’m
Still in love with you
There was a tall strongman called Tony; he lived in
the tallest storey building, in a lulu town known as
Lorry Town. He always spat down at people and
coltishly belittled the skies, because; the sky almost
shook hands with his tall storey building. One day,
his storey building got bleeding tired of his
arrogant pomposity and crushed him down while
asleep, to slave for those whom he took as pigs
and pits.
The end
The shortest day of the year
Winter solstice cold icy air
Nibble at my skin
Dec. 21st two thousand ten
It’s cold in the south
Overseas in Europe, mammoth snowfalls
Hundreds of planes grounded
And thousands of people marooned
It’s wet in the California
Heavy rains, flood lands
Take over sundry homes, folks wading waters
Cars congested, mired traffic
In the winter chaos
A lunar eclipse spectacular
Captured the minds of countless
Won’t chance again till Dec. 10th 2011

Poet's Note:
This is the personal tag on my car here in California. It is also my philosophy of life. Ha!
I wondered if my emptiness was my fault
I wished that my life would immediately halt
My swollen heart was filled with pain
Once realities made me a dreamer
Emptiness would kill me quicker
Than my purse filled with nothing
My longest dream of the shortest sleep
Like admiring shallow waters “so deep!”
Like calling uncertainties the divine truth
To distinguish confusion from depth
Requires courage to stand beneath
People who ranked themselves superior
Oh God, hide me from their poisons
Its sweet odor of everlasting haughtiness
Desperately longed for by ambitious men
