Security Blanket

No chance of rain tonight,
No bogeyman, when I turn off the lights.
A phrase I found and adore with the warmth of your security.
You are the reason I attain true maturity.

I love when you lay down next to me,
Like the high tide of the sea,
You move all the warm emotions inside.
My arms are the comfort you use to seek and hide.

Your nestle holds a true rhythm that hums its own song~
Nothing comes close to breaking this precious bond~
A sweet cradle-song only I hear,
You play my grin, without the strings of a puppeteer.

My heartbeat needs its fix and drug,
Your sweet, charming smiles and hug,
Is all I need to succeed,
You are, my only creed!

A kiss, I give on your forehead,
Into a poet’s world where your blanket a dulcet lullaby,
my arms are your bed.

“Goodnight Sweet Child, Sweet Child of Mine!”

The Butterfly Cocooned

Noon
Beneath higher twig tips,
    my heart flutters
Near converging branches.

My cocoon
Rests
Mid-high the strength
    and distinctive character
Of a gnarly tree. Embracing me.
This, my home…Cocoon.

Night.
This essential place,
Protecting
Above the swirling world,
Puzzling with its mixing motions
Of lights, colors, temperatures,
Until I think I shall just stay
In this cocoon
For all the days
    of my brief forever.
I have grown able
To feel my heart flitter,
And my future hinting of more.

Secure herein my cocoon,
I debate with Life…
Staying here within,
Cocooned
Perhaps until I might learn
For its own brief time and purpose,
How each raindrop so proudly falls.

The Social Security system

Is struggling to find a sound rhythm

     If Grandpa survives

Will Feds send a posse to kill him?

Thankfully Socialist Santa wasn’t elected,
because we now have a lovely wall being erected.

Given will be no free handout for the illegal masses,
and received will be no gifts of crime, drugs, and grasses.

Lights from above will twinkle from helicopters,
as tear gas will float to choke out the coughers.

Asylum seekers they surely are not,
the invaders will be rejected and never achieve the globalization they sought.

So, sleep in comfort and in peace dear little children,
Our wonderful president Trump keeps America secure and free from criminal invasion.

Our country sleeps well because the good gave a good fight,
so sleep well to all, and to all a good night.

Security Guard

A-n early morn has broken,
B-ringing light to Sunday;
E-vening rain disappears,
G-ray haze fades away.
A-nother dusk has turned
I-nto a break of new dawn;
L-et the twilight leave, as the shadows are gone.

A-llow your life to go on,
B-egin to move forward;
O-pen your bag January twenty-ninth,
N-o one evades the security
G-uard.

Security of My Homeland

Sitting on the boundary, defending Pakistani border,
Not feeling alone as its Almighty Order,
Security the way I take Almighty Pleasure,
Face all troubles Don’t matter how Harder,

You the sword of nation, and country pride,
Chest you up brave heart, don’t sit aside,
Strive for success in the battle field,
Chase your enemy, don’t you Hide,

Protection of country lead You earn the Heaven Above,
Vaporize your passion like blazing stove,
Nothing is important then the worth of Homeland,
Give your best as you do in Love,

The honor, dignity and delight of Martyr,
Takes your soul so Higher,
As the pleasure of real success is Eternal,
So! Don’t evade, never give up, Not be Tire.
(Feel it alright as The Best Man do a Best Job as You! ! !)

Security

Since that day, I find ways to cope,
behaviours and rituals to repeat,
the actions that help me sleep.

Before I go to bed I have to check that the door is locked,
the door is locked. The door is locked.
I know that if I don't check it I will be okay,
the world will not end, no-one will come in,
I am safe.

Yet,
every night I still have to check.
The door is locked, the door is locked, the door is locked.
It's funny the effect a person's actions can have on another.

Before the thoughts clouded your mind,
before you bowed to them,
I could fall asleep without the sound of the TV,
I could lower the lights,
I could dream, without the nightmares filling my head.

But now when I fall asleep, I check the door is locked.
It's locked. It's locked.

Will you form with me at the centre.? Any colonials
Good and true..'Will you stand? To confront tyranny?
Here there is a place for you.! all you will need is courage..
And the will to see it through..Will you stand and form
The centre? as they think we still can't do.? Have you seen
Their ramparts cracking? as Hoody drops truth bombs true!
As Jhonny rose to the challenge.' As Riccardo stepped
Up too.' As the cabal is shocked and shaken still i'm
Calling out to you.' As we are waking in the millions! There
Is will and there is right, will you support your neighbour?
Will you; stand up and fight? Will the A D F stand with us.?
Its your people who were hurt, your own fathers mothers
Brothers, they treat your sisters just like dirt.' They built
The concentration camps, and coerced our Aboriginal people
Too.' caring not for any human life, but lied through; their teeth
Right.. through.!

My poor old body is sagging,
My arthritic feet are dragging
My skin is dry, and my mouth
What has not gone west
It has now gone south
My memory is fading fast
I think I am living in the past,
The past is where I feel secure
I no longer feel security here.
When I think I'm going mad
I tell myself that won't be bad
Because in a psychiatric hospital,
There would be,
Hoards of people, just like me.

National Security State

Put candy in World War 1 rations
oh no!, if our enemies. . .
And National Security factions. . .
Did classify, those actions!

Just before the really Big One
Sold all our cars and trucks
To the Land of rising sun
Dammit, classify, classify the son'.

Then when we fought the conflict,
The Public has mostly forgotten,
when we spelled conflict as inflict,
Classify the doc, and restrict.

Then the Cold War went to code red,
Clamoring generals thought us dead,
And said blow Evil Empire to dark ages
But mistake, almost buried us instead

Then lost a nuke off Carolina ,
With thousands dead egg on our face,
Took over Myrtle nothing is finah
Pres said classify and bury in case

Security Blanket

I don’t know about you but when my skies are gray,
I want to pull the covers over my head until they go away.

I want to stay tucked in safe where it’s nice and warm,
Where I can feel hidden away from any kind of harm.

If you’re looking for me that’s probably where I’ll be,
Just me and my handy book light in case I want to see.

Yes underneath the blankets is where I’ll find new attitude,
Especially on those nights when you’re sleeping in the nude.

Security at the Hen House

All around the peaceful barn yard
everyone’s sleeping while I’m on graveyard
watching for the shrewd fox dude

Cock-a-doodle-doo! I spew
Time all lazy diehards to punch your card

Old Owl who….oting in the hayloft flew

Rooster, you steer us with no clue
you just want brew some sugars
    from the crew of lookers
Yay or Nay ?	Then bid them adieu

Oh! Hush! Old Owl with your who.. hoot
Shoo… I’ll mute your hoot with a boot
  let that  shrewd fox dude
   substitute you for stew food

The Old Owl left with a who…ot

Security Guard

Security guard

I was broke, no work for me at the shipping office,
got a job guarding tractors; sat in a hut that was cold and had no heating
and bad light. Well, this job was better than sitting at home
lamenting my unemployment, but my god was it boring.
Sat on a tractor pretending I was a farmer ploughing a potato field,
and that was tedious too. The uniform they had given me
was too small for my frame looked like a walking scarecrow.
At midnight another guard came to take over and I asked him
how he could survive the tedium. Me, he said I go to sleep
I have full time work during the day.
Next day I got a phone from the shipping office it had been
difficult they said I had a reputation for not playing ball
and being argumentative; took the job handed in my uniform.

Security Guard
I failed to get a licence to turn my snack-bar
into a wine-bar, at the time the later was unheard of
now they are everywhere; it appears I was
ahead of time, anyway, not cut out to stay all day
selling burgers, hotdogs and sweet drinks sold it and
for a while, I could sleep till nine.
Snoozing does not pay for itself I had to find a job
night- work as a security guard at a building site.

I was reading poetry at the time and noticed bards
of yore came from wealthy families or had someone to
pay their bill for sexual favours, as I was not that way
inclined resigned my lousy paid job and went to sea
when my ship was in port, I found a godforsaken bar
continued to read, drink and dream
