Soros Grinch Can'T Steal Christmas

Thankfully Socialist Santa wasn’t elected, 
because we now have a lovely wall being erected.

Given will be no free handout for the illegal masses,
and received will be no gifts of crime, drugs, and grasses.

Lights from above will twinkle from helicopters,
as tear gas will float to choke out the coughers.

Asylum seekers they surely are not,
the invaders will be rejected and never achieve the globalization they sought.

So, sleep in comfort and in peace dear little children,
Our wonderful president Trump keeps America secure and free from criminal invasion.

Our country sleeps well because the good gave a good fight,
so sleep well to all, and to all a good night.

Martin I appreciate your opinion with this piece, but, respectfully, I don't agree. First I thought it was a sarcastic write and I smiled but now, maybe not. Taken seriously it seems a sad commentary on us as a country. With the events taking place in NY, I agree that we need immigration reform, but walls? How long did it take to tear down the Berlin wall. Immigration has been an integral part of American society since before we were a country. Helping others is not socialism, its humanism.

Thank you, James, for your opinion. Every soul is valuable, according to God. But, even the heavens have standards, as do we, as do you... another soul who lives behind walls... and locked doors. Laws are the gatekeepers of those standards we use to allow entry. Soros is a communist, and his followers are fools... yet, when tested, are willing to contradict their platitudes of equality as to not share a five-gallon bucket for a toilet among twenty to two hundred others in a room with no walls, as the millions murdered in Soviet gulags under Stalin. If people want to masquerade socialism with a euphemism called humanism... then they should share their abode with those violent criminals, here ILLEGALLY, they artificially and self-righteously defend.

I wake around 4 am. It's reported that the president wakes around 5:30 am. So, I don't expect him to have read it yet. But to be honest, I hope he's doing other things other than reading my poem and messages from his web page.

I agree with Carolyn...send it. I am sure he would love it and I know I do. Nicely said and nice counter to all of the negative Trump poetry on this site. I have waded in these waters a few times and come out unscathed. I really can't believe all of the hate I see on this site, I can believe it on the streets, but not on a poetry site.
