Premium Member Sun Too Needs a Savior

Where does the
    selfless sun hide
when heavens
r a i n bloodstones?
Burned and inscribed,
from monsoon monsters,
gnawing at our bones,
the shimmering
  darkness imbibed,
If only drifting
shades
   of gray,
where the tempests
             of hell sway,
would hear the hymns
                     I sleep to
when the clouds steal on cue
the soul of illuminating skies.

I listen to the echoing symphony
of s i l e n t sighs,
convincing soothingly,
pulling me back to soar
new h i g h s
amongst electric choirs,
as angels swiftly swing,
       on saffron strings,
to the bass of cellos rising,
above tuscan tambourines.

Yet, I keep drowning
      in needless tears,
from pearlized
 ponds of fears,
seeing life as how it
has always been forged,
a disappointment
fed through
   filthy forks,
who’ve gorged
on the first
of every scintillating
   ray of light.

But, what if the sun, too,
     needs a savior?
Like an eternal
      gem that beams
upon dreary dawns set upon her
draining every
  heavy lampshade
       of s t a r s
within spheres of novae,
lest the opulence give
way to bruise and decay.

Perhaps, grim gales
   gusting in
wrathful bursts
shall finally be the
  serenity I need
for I’ve tilled every field
of hurts like raspberry
from the scent
    of rose water,
For sometimes,
   that’s all it takes,
heeding to freeze through
malevolent thorns in icy lakes.

Hallelujah, What a Savior

On that fateful day He went away,
His disciples hid, full of fear and dismay.
His family gazed through tear filled eyes,
At the man non believers had despised.

The veil rent in two, which man could not do,
The sun was eclipsed when His time was due,
The guard at the cross was filled with awe,
As he realized finally, the son of God he saw.

He was laid inside a gifted tomb that very day.
Before the Sabbath time came into play.
Sunday morn the women came to prepare,
They found the stone rolled away, he was not there.

He was not there but his grave clothes were,
Folded neatly on the cold slab of his rest.
Mary cried where is my Lord? Help me please,
The "Gardener" said "Mary" and gave her ease.

This revelation hit her very core,
To the others this news she bore.
Disbelief was her reward for this news,
Until in haste to the tomb they flew.

They now knew what he said was true,
He had risen to save both me and you.
He came among them in the upper room,
To show he had left an empty tomb.

He told them to remain in the city ,
He said to them, you must not depart.
For when I go to my Father, I will send,
The Holy Spirit to fill your heart.

There's a cross....in Jerusalem
Waiting there......for everyone
Justice speaks...One word
Guilty

The hammer rules in the darkness there
Death confirmed....by a Roman spear
There's a cross in Jerusalem.....
Oh but wait......
There's a baby in Bethlehem!

Savior

There's a house.....falling fast
Foundation tears....Stones are cast
Future speaks.....one word
Uncertainty

Chaos rules......in the turmoil there
Wounded pride....Rips the atmosphere
There's a house......falling fast
Oh but wait......
There's a carpenter in Nazareth

(Jewel's Rule)

Jesus is near
With him there's nothing to fear
He's returning any time
Lords love sublime-
Return prophesied
Don't let the devil mislead
Christ's love, salvation, world need
Lord wants to lead
Bible should read
Spread Christ's love, peace, plant good seed
Fear nothing if Lords with you
His loves so true.

- “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”
Revelation 1:8 (NIV)

-For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord.
1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 (NIV)

-Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him, and all tribes of the earth will wail on account of him. Even so. Amen
Revelation 1:7 (NIV)

Premium Member First Christmas Eve

“The only blind person at Christmas time is he who has not Christmas in his heart.” – Helen Keller

On that long ago night,
Beyond the hills – burning bright,
Born to save us from our sin,
Bring assurance and peace within…

Jesus Christ, the joy and love
God Almighty sent from heaven above,
With grace that would surely prove…,
Choosing love, meant God’s on the move…

On that night, when He was born,
The darkest devils would surely mourn,
Because, with Him, there would be hope,
The promise of life so we might cope…

Jesus Christ, born to save souls,
His spirit come down, His grace consoles,
The gift of a love so amazing…
We just knew, we’d forever be praising….

On that long ago night,
While Mary labored with all her might,
There came One who would change creation,
With His grace and love, He brings souls elation!

Jesus is the answer for all of mankind,
When He came down, to all who were blind,
He opened our eyes, with faith – we believe…
Love came to save us on that first Christmas Eve!

My Precious Redeemer

When I think of where my Lord has brought me
and the terrible darkness I recall,
then in thankfulness I sing out to Him
as on my face before Him I fall.

Oh, Lord my God, my Savior
You are so far above us all,
why You chose a wretch like me to serve You so great
so short I know I fall.

Yet, I know that You like to display Your mercy
Your kindness, and faithfulness to,
such a precious Redeemer My God whom I serve
Master what else can I do for You?

My heart is so full of love now
for a Wonderful Eternal God,
with these lips of clay I will praise Your name
remembering I’m just made out of the world’s sod.

Merry Christmas from me to you! I hope all your Christmas dreams come true!

This is what it means to feel Christmas in the heart, to know Christmas as the hope, to see Christmas in a world who longs to find the peace that comes from His birth! – quote by poet

Come into the light,
Hear the joy of heaven,
Reassuring the heart,
Inspiring love and hope,
Saving souls from misery,
Taking away all uncertainty,
Mesmerizing with belief,
Amazing souls who find peace
Silencing the darkest grief

Our Savior Dear

Christ is the water and bread of life,
Poured out and broken for us to take part.
Everything denotes His love,
His perfect sacrifice for us.

His soul He offered unto God,
His life He surrendered on the cross.
He is the Christ, our exaltation prize,
Kind Savior and Redeemer mild.

His healing balm knows no end.
His service to the broken to mend.
Once to humbly lay His life by,
Now He reigns in heaven on high.

To be partakers of His fruits,
We must bear in us His life,
To tree from roots.
Herein are the gospel tools.

Christ the Lord who reigns on high,
Always let us be nearby Thy side.
We have come to earth to do our part.
Bestow now charity in our hearts.

With hearts and hands to serve Thine all,
We adhere our Savior dear, to Thy call.
Always to give and share in truth,
We love in Spirit, to make all things new.

Premium Member Lead Me Home

Take my hand, precious Lord
And lead me toward home
I long to build a life that You have
Blessed, a life that is more than
Merely materialistic things
More than just my needs
But a life that is filled up with
Your insights, inspirations
Your dedication to my faith

I want to bring You my hopes
With assurance that I always know
You have everything worked out
I don’t need to worry or plan
You have it all there in your hands
Everything I need and all I could want
All my blessings poured out on me
Through a love that I so often burning
Fervently, inside me with joy and light
Feelings that are more than alive
They’re like a fire falling from the sky
Sanctifying my entire life, my heart
My soul and more… every part of my love

You are my wisdom and my strength
You lift me up when I’m so very weak
You carry me onward when I’m so afraid
You always love me and make a way
To rain down tenderness across my spirit
Free my mind from its darkest fears
Reminding me why I need You so much
You’re the answer to my every want
You keep me sane and inspire me to cope
With everything that comes, all the worry
The loss, the loneliness, the anxiety
You make a way where no way has been
You see me through the nightmares and dread
Free my soul from its place of terror
Guide my heart toward my sweetest desires

You silence the doubts that plague my soul
Show me just the right way to go toward hope
You prepare the way so that my journey home
Is filled with peace that quiets every storm
You are the light that fills up the night
Bringing me warmth dancing through my faith
You linger here with me when I’m so alone
Giving me assurance that I always have your love
And whatever comes, wherever I might go
You’ll be there with me, showing me the path
That will lead me toward the home that awaits
The home on high where my friends will never die
And where I will go when my journey is done

I seek You and your love above everything I know
You’re more than life – You’re the greatest gift
From a God who knows my heart and my soul
And gives me the hope of a heaven where I’ll know
You are the answer that saved my heart and soul
Freed me from the sorrow of a life with no hope!

JESUS, OUR SAVIOR

There was a young Man Named Jesus
Who came to earth one day
He came to save lost souls
But He didn't come to stay

He came to die that we might live
He gave His life for me
The day that He was crucified
And died on Calvary's tree

A Comforter was sent to us
As promised in God's Word
To teach us to live a holy life
I pray that you have heard

This Savior called Emmanuel
Can save you from your sin
If only you submit to Him
And let Him live within

So humble yourself and seek His face
Turn from your wicked ways
My friend, you'll be so glad you did
You'll give God all the praise

Then on that final judgment day
You'll hear the Savior say
Enter into the joy of your Lord
He'll not turn you away
