“The only blind person at Christmas time is he who has not Christmas in his heart.” – Helen Keller
On that long ago night,
Beyond the hills – burning bright,
Born to save us from our sin,
Bring assurance and peace within…
Jesus Christ, the joy and love
God Almighty sent from heaven above,
With grace that would surely prove…,
Choosing love, meant God’s on the move…
On that night, when He was born,
The darkest devils would surely mourn,
Because, with Him, there would be hope,
The promise of life so we might cope…
Jesus Christ, born to save souls,
His spirit come down, His grace consoles,
The gift of a love so amazing…
We just knew, we’d forever be praising….
On that long ago night,
While Mary labored with all her might,
There came One who would change creation,
With His grace and love, He brings souls elation!
Jesus is the answer for all of mankind,
When He came down, to all who were blind,
He opened our eyes, with faith – we believe…
Love came to save us on that first Christmas Eve!
