Save Me, That I May Rise Again To Stand

Where it that good-morrow brought thee again
save my broken soul from love-lust in sin!
Heal my heart, stop my nights of great sorrows
offer thy hand, promise of tomorrows.

Thinking back to love-nights we never slept
agony, I fell and viciously wept.
O' my love, allow me one more soft kiss
grant mercy, giveth this saddest soul bliss.

Remember vows, we swore to never break
in this dear Hope my life, I gladly stake.
My daily prayer, sends pleas for thy hand
Save me, that I may rise again to stand.

Where it that good-morrow brought thee again
save my broken soul from love-lust in sin!

R.J. Lindley
NOV.17TH 1975

Note- This poem was written while in a fallen state of despair
from a lost love, and broken soul laid bare.
A youth that raced to drown sorrows, only to find more and deeper misery in the drowning.

Would You Save Me

If I ran to death
With tears in my eyes
Cuts on my arms
And fell before you
Would you lend me your hand
And pull me up
Into your warm embrace
Would you stroke my hair
And kiss my cheek
Covering my scars
With your fingers
Would you stay by my side
And tell me not to die
Would you share your smile
So i could see your face
Light up beneath the stars
And share your warmth
That's so contagious
Id smile
Like I always do
When im near you
But would you
Would you do that for me
So I wouldn't leave
If I didn't know
What else to do
Would you?

Save Me!

Save me! Save me! I plead you!
For all the troubles, I'm going through.
The land for my clothes, the blue is my skin.
The wind is my blood, and the heat my kin.

The land that you stand on was once all mine.
But now you litter, and dirty me all the time.
My head and toe are melting, it'll leave me soon all blue.
What could happen next, you don't have a clue.

Blue is the ocean, with my children there.
The oil that you let out, kills them, leaving it all bare.
Dirty water, that's all you'll drink.
Human and life will soon reach extinction's brink.

Start saving fuel, and save me, too.
Use solar gadgets and plant trees, too.
Save Me! Save Me! I plead you,
For all the troubles, I'm going through.
                                                                ( -_*****_-)

                                                             ( :( )
                                                               ( )

Premium Member Born To Save Me

In a small lite stable,
In a manger made into in a cradle
A beautiful newborn baby
Born to save me.
Ten little fingers, ten perfect toes,
Wrapped in swaddling clothes,
Sleeping completely still;
To redeem and fulfill.

Luke 2:12 12This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger."
Luke 2:7 7and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no guest room available for them.

Save Me!

Save me!
I can’t take it anymore please save me!
I can’t hide.
So many times I have lies.
Anything to hide my addiction.
I am looking at my reflection.
Trying to be perfect has a price.
Pills have always been my own device.
Alcohol keeps me numb of what I have become.
Save me baby.
Break me free.
I am losing this fight.
I know I can’t do this alone, you were right.
Living without you is killing me.
I know the blame is all me.
Come back to me.
Help me.
Save me baby.
Take me out of this misery.
Take me out of this hell.
Save me from myself.

God Save Me

Love Love Love
That’s what they
Gave to me,
So Why Why Why
Do I live in Slavery

Hate Hate Hate
Always knocking
At my door
Where life or death
Depends on the floor

Perception changed
In the blinking
Of an eye
Now all I can do
Is sit here and cry

I cry for lost love
I cry with no hope
And yet somehow
I will always,
Always cope.

Because I am a Christian
I’m tortured everyday
Someone decided
To take my life away

They saw a chance to profit
From all that I have done
I pay for my confinement
And am the lonely one.

I hope that one day
The real truth will be known
Who I am and what I am
In blood flesh and bone

Until that day cometh
Pray God stay with me
Then I’ll survive until the day
The real me though dost see

GOD SAVE ME

Save Me a Seat

Save me a seat in the front row.
Your in heaven now and God puts on a hell of a show.

There is no admission but leave your pain at the front door.
Just like Poe's raven who repeats "Nevermore."

Go ahead and put on those silly glasses it's all in 3-D.
Even though your vision's will be quite different than me.

In your movie, you will see your good and I guess your bad.
All the happiness and everything sad.

From the previews it shows your life from birth until death.
I'm told from your first cry until your last breath.

There will be no subtitles or audio to adjust.
The only words that appear is like on a coin stamped "In God we trust."

I don't remember it's in either scene one or scene two.
Out comes your family and friends that have passed before you.

Stop, end this movie you scream. I do not like this that person. I do not this show.
Patience, Patience the director replies. All is forgiven. That is why I put you in the front row.

Can a Mince Pie Save Me

I'm teetering on the edge of a cliff
 The scales are swaying uncontrollably
My gloom taints the horizon as I fall
Hang on, that's Grandma at the door with some mince pies

How can I sway so uncontrollably when I must live for those whom live for me?
How can I hang my head so low when my Grandma holds her head so high through strife and defeat?
Have a cup of tea, have a mince pie lovely seeing you, see you again,
Plunged back into darkness, head so low again there really is no hope again.

Who Will Save Me

The drum beats silent
to the sound of my aching heart

He runs his callused hands across my olive skin
Bitter is my heart

As I lye quietly in my bed
dreaming of a life I may have had

If only I would have looked the other way
The road less traveled they say

My weakness was his gain
Come with me he whispered
let me show you the way

Now I lay choking on my blood wasting my life away
Who will save me now

Even God seems so far away.

Green leprechauns already know
There's zilch at ends of a rainbow
So to own and hold
Pots of silver and gold
Is the way to have lots of dough

Author's note: The color of leprechauns is significant here!

Save Me

Save Me
By: IzaDonna

Look in the mirror
Do you recognize her
Do you see the coldness in her eyes
Do you see where the darkness lies
Hidden secrets of the past
To late, the spells been cast
And as the stars arise
My own self will be my demise

Chorus:
So you think you can save me
Finally set my retched soul free
Be my ultimate savior
You thinking ur doing me a favor
But just let me alone
My fate is only my own

I get u try and u care
But thru it all u weren't there
I cant move on from my past
The agony I feel will always last
The knife is in way to deep
So let me shut my eyes and sleep
Cause u can't fix whats already broken
The pain I feel is better left unspoken

Chorus

So as the darkness creeps in
I feel I'm paying for my sins
No way to escape
My soul is yours to take
Just let me bleed these tears
Just let me lay here
Looking up at the sky
I ask God why

Chorus

Cause you can't fix what isn't broken
The pain is better left unspoken

Oh, I thank you, my friend but I don't think I should...
No, I never would dine here again, if I could!
And the truth is, I tried but the outcome was grim,
for you see, what came out was much worse than went in!

But you know, all the dishes you've named DO sound good,
so perhaps if you came in to MY neighborhood,
we could come by a fryer and try some new stuff
like delicious doo bryer and fenberry fluff!

And when we feel full and no more food will fit,
then we'll each pull up seats and together we'll sit
'til the stars on our bellies are smaller in size,
then we'll get in our cars and we'll holler goodbyes

but until that day comes (and it's coming, for sure!)
I will show you your chair and I'll call you "kind sir"
and you'll know then and there the next time that we meet,
we will sit as a pair and we'll both get to eat!

Now, I hope you don't think that I don't like my job!
Yes, its noisy, it stinks and each night there's a mob,
there are zakes in the dicer and qwetts in the flue
but the place is much nicer now that I've met you!

Jesus Christ Save Me

Just one more hit.
Everyone else is stoned and wasted beyond help.
Sorry God, I tried to contain myself.
Uh, what's that over there?
Someone brought ecstasy!

Cool, man.
Hey, maybe I could try some. Get high, let my imagination flow like never before.
Right...I'm supposed to be a "model Christian".
I don't see how anyone could care at this point in my life.
Seriously though? Who can even see me?
Thank you Jesus for blankets,

So you can't see me and banish me to the Lake of Fire.
Anyway, mmm I see a cute butt over there,
Very big...Juicy...
Eh, I'll tap that later, I don't feel so hot...Nighty Night.

May I ask where I am?
Everyone here is in chains and burning...

Save Me From Myself

Save Me From Myself

I was tangled inside your words to the point I knew once I tried to escape I’d be broken.
Could you have eve imagine how damaged I was once I escaped it was more then what I could have bare. Soon I became deranged and trapped inside myself not able to feel not even your ray of light could pull me from the darkness I had formed to shield myself.
Be proud are you not? This was all your doing and now I must live on knowing that I am no longer sane, yet yearning for you with every breathe I take. Who will be my knight in shining armor for it were never you, or shall I be forced to save myself from myself? Once trap in tangled of lies ad deception escaping just to find out everything that had happen was all my own fault. Should I be saved or should I be left to kill myself slowly.
It more then enough poison in the world to destroy my body, but not the broken soul which now know no safety. Don’t bring me back to this world for I wish to be saved. So I shall wander through time ad space until I am at peace. Save me my knight from what’s eating me, hurting me, killing me to the point I’m unrecognizable. Save me for I am selfish, destroyed, conceited, and without a purpose. Who shall be my knight in shining armor? I’ll be waiting for you, save me from the darkness that I call myself.
