Would You Save Me

If I ran to death
With tears in my eyes
Cuts on my arms
And fell before you
Would you lend me your hand
And pull me up
Into your warm embrace
Would you stroke my hair
And kiss my cheek
Covering my scars
With your fingers
Would you stay by my side
And tell me not to die
Would you share your smile
So i could see your face
Light up beneath the stars
And share your warmth
That's so contagious
Id smile
Like I always do
When im near you
But would you
Would you do that for me
So I wouldn't leave
If I didn't know
What else to do
Would you?

I bet your magnitude of honesty intimidates many people Jay, even if you don't speak a word; the honesty is probably perceptible in your motions - You use poetry the way it was meant to be crafted, for confrontation, for healing - Yes, I think I would - J.A.B. %

Honestly, It does intimidate many people...My two friends also tend to get cries of help when I steal their phones and message one of their friends. The girls get scared of me...its weird. But, I always try to be honest, I just do more so through poetry. Im glad you recognize that.
